It is my great honor to interview Flor and introduce her to you all. She is a charming and expressive girl with brightly voluminous eyes, which always sparkle with wisdom. Besides, she has a pretty name, Flor Alba Rocha Vorgas. Flor is the short form of flower in her native language, and Alba means sunrise while Rocha Vorgas is a combination of her father’s and mother’s family name. Meanwhile, Flor speaks Spanish as her native language and she is capable of speaking French and English as well. Coming from Bogota, the capital of Colombia, she regards Monserrate, located on the peak of a small mountain, as her favorite part about her home city. According to what she describes, the mountain where Monserrate is situated lies on the east of Bogota, and it takes you approximately an hour to climb from the foot to the top while just around fifteen minutes to get there by cableway. Moreover, there is no denying the fact that you are bond to fulfill your eyesight with the amazing overlook of the whole city as long as you stand there.

When it comes to her own experience, she takes pride in graduating from one of the best law schools in Colombia. I am sure that Flor has been an assiduous and sagacious student in her school, because she is so outstanding that starts to work as a lawyer just three months after graduation, doing some research for the government on the Internet. Currently, she is studying English in New York, renting house from a Colombian family in East Elmhurst with her roommate. My parents watched a lot of news and they always worry about my safety. I

tell them that there is no need to worry, because the news report about other

peoples story having nothing to do with me. But one thing changed my opinion.

One day, when I walked home after school, a young man who dressed so well got

close to me, then he told me that he needed help. He said he lost his wallet and

然而我初识梁实秋，却并非因为“散淡”。多年前，当我拜读鲁迅的杂文，我便与梁老相识。周树人寥寥数笔，而梁老即荣膺了“丧家的资本家的乏走狗”这一尊称。我也曾一度以为梁某人不过一“御用文人”，但我终究理解了他，理解了他温和的无奈。在大时代里，面对民族的痼疾，以梁实秋为代表的一批知识分子，同样在探寻着济世良方。他们不是激进，他们亦没有锋芒。他们不同于学究天人而稽古治学的章炳麟，他们亦不同于心忧天下而大声疾呼的鲁迅。他们温和的文人，信奉的是中正平和。我妈见得梁实秋是多么殷切地向传统的闲情雅趣中去追溯，去重新拾起遗忘了的温暖记忆。于是，中国文化中的一切器物，山水，人情，风月，生灵，也就在他的笔下活泛起来……没有几人能像他那样质朴而闲适地体察万物，如清泉般细细勾勒事物的生机焕发。我疑惑他是怎样以淡定从容去应对不关风月的刀光血影，去应对“走狗”的责难与质疑，然而我见着了他的微笑。也许梁实秋们、林语堂们所主张的情调确实无法解救当时的国民，但却无损于他们人格的光彩。他们的成与败，意义已尽在言外。

when there is conflict happening between the relatives, we obey the rules and

know what to do. My parents have set up many rules for me and my sister, which

works to solve problems. The first rule is to say thank you when we get help.

Such as when someone open the door for us, we also need to show gratitude. I

find people feel happy when I say thank you to them. The second rule is to never

get angry for more than two days. So when I have disputes with my sister, we

wont be mad at each other for long time. The family rules make me a better

person.

Before we go to school, we get our parents to supervise us all the time, so

we live in a very safe environment. While when we go to school, parents cant

keep their eyes on us all the time, they are so worried about us, so they begin

to tell us how to keep ourselves safe. The most important thing is that dont

talk to strangers, as a teenager, we havent had the ability to judge who is the

good guy and who is the bad guy, so it is better not to talk to the strangers.

The bad guys will like to talk to the teenagers, they want to do something to

pay the teenagers attention, thus they can induce the children to go with them

and do the bad thing. In order to protect teenagers security, teenagers are

taught to keep distant from the stranger.

In everyones heart, there is your most respected person. And the man I respect most is my grandfather.

My grandfather he is an ordinary person, although looks ordinary, but give a person a kind of feeling. He director, gray hair, but he never FuLao. He got up at five o clock in the morning run. 晚上，外公还经常刻苦的钻研学习，我还经常问外公：“外公，您的学问不是很高了吗?怎么还要继续学习呢?”而外公却总是轻轻地抚摸着我的头，和蔼的说：“傻孩子，活到老，学到老，学到七十还嫌少嘛。”外公还利用业余的时间来练习书法。现在，谁家只要办什么喜事，都会找我的外公去写对联呢!我敬佩外公活到老，学到老，热爱学习的精神!

可是，我的外公的眼睛的了一个非常严重的病。医生告诉他，让他不要再做剧烈的运动了，特别是跑步。我妈妈回到家也对我的外公说：爸，您以后别再跑步了，也被在工作了，过几天我就帮你把工作给辞掉。而我的外公却说：“生命在于运动，我怎能放弃运动呢?”于是外公每天早上四点钟起来，走哪一条路，而且我的外公也没有辞掉那份工作。我敬佩外公勇于克服困难，战胜困难的精神!

我又一次站在了父亲面前，却一句话也说不出，的确，说不出。

我知道自己的脸一定很红，我根本不敢看父亲那种信任的眼光，对我来说，那是一种说不出的折磨，好痛好痛。

我明白，自己骗了父亲。我上了网吧，有了瘾，很想戒，却怎么也控制不住。钱用光了……我真的认为自己好无能，好对不起父亲，可……“爸，”我终于开口，可是停顿了好长、好长时间，我始终不敢抬头，“学校，要，要收——50元……”。我看不见父亲的脸，不知道他的表情，周围很静，我似乎确凿听到了一声很慢、很轻的叹息，一声充满悲哀、充满无奈的叹息。我终于控制不住了，终于，落了泪，我不知为何，停不下来，还不停地抽泣。

我又一次哭了，泣不成声：“爸!……”“别急，别急!我有，我有!”我很想说出口，却又咽了下去。爸从炕上跳下来，打开那个曾是母亲嫁妆的手饰盒，其实并没什么手饰，因为根本没钱买，母亲都去了四年了，他还留着。他打开盒子，轻轻地取出一个用白手绢包着的东西，小心翼翼地翻开，竟是一叠零钱。他拿出来，边数边笑着对我说：“你拿去用，爸以后多给别人拉点砖，钱自然就来了。你在学校该用就用，一定要把学习搞好，爸还等着享你的福呢!”说完，把数好的钱，塞进我手里，好冰冷的手!“爸，你冷，是不?”“咋会呢?我有棉袄。”我一看，他的棉袄上有了两三个补丁，肩上还有一个洞，还没补。还未等我开口，父亲已经明白了，立刻说：“明天就补，明天就补。”

“儿子，你快走吧，再不走就赶不上晚自习啦!”他仍劝道。我终于跑了，头也不回地跑了。
