看着琳琅满目的菜单，我“豪气”地点了几个颇为名贵的菜，喝几瓶饮料，看着一盘盘美味的菜肴，我的口水不禁流了下来，我再也忍不住了，开始狼吞虎咽的吃着，一杯杯佳饮迅速灌入我的口中，一个个盘子也迅速空了起来!。不一会，我的肚子就鼓了起来，我拍了拍肚皮，满意地说：“我吃饱了!”看见爸爸妈妈也吃完了，又说：“那我们回家吧!”说完便起身离座，可刚走几步便被妈妈叫住了，说：“杰杰，你看还剩这么多饭菜，我们打包走吧!而我们三个都吃饱了，要不我们打包走吧!扔点多可惜呀!”说完，指了指桌上剩下的饮料和菜。可我一听，不高兴了，说：“出了包间，外面这么多人看着，打包回去，多难看啊!”妈妈刚要继续劝我，爸爸说：“杰杰，这就是你的不对了，你知道吗?每3秒就有一个人因饥饿而死亡，如果我们每人都节约一粒米，全国就能节约十几亿粒米，这是一得多么惊人的数字啊!如果把这些节约下来的米送到灾区去，可以救活多少人的性命啊!”听了这些话，我这才知道节约的重要性，我主动叫来了服务员，让他帮我们打包回去!
