He is now working in Africa, helping to build a power station. My mother is a teacher. She teaches English in a middle school. My sister, five years older than I, is a doctor in the Peoples Hospital of our county. She loves her work and does it well. I am a middle school student. And I am going to take this years college entrance examination. I wish that I could be enrolled② by a famous university.

I have a happy family. My family have five poeple:grandpa, grandma, father, mother, and me.

My grandparents live in countryside. They have six rooms. The room is big. There are two apple in the ground. They have sixteen goats and three cows. The goat is white. The cow is yellow. They are healthy.

My parents and me live in city. My father is a worker. His work is hard. My mother is a high schools Chinese teacher, She take bicycle go to work at sevenclock. In the afternoon, she doesnt go home. In the evening, she make supper. The food is delicious. I am a student. I have Chinese, math and English everyday. That is boring. I have many friends. After class, I play with my friends.

We are tried, but we are very happy. I love my family.

i love math very much, because i think math is quite useful. its useful when people are buying things. its useful when students are learning subjects like physics and chemitry. and its useful when scientists are doing experiments. teachers can not only help students to learn things but also teach the students to apply what they learn into practice.

“光盘”活动在全国正如火如荼地开展，厉行节约已成了人们的行为准则。

刚开学不久，我们学校就举行了“光盘”活动。上午第三节课结束后，我们排着整齐的队伍秩序井然地去食堂用餐。分饭的同学把饭分好后，我们各自拿了点菜就开始吃起来。碗里的饭菜要吃掉对我来说是小菜一碟，只不过我吃得有些慢。看着旁边的同学一个个吃完离开，而我碗里还有一些饭菜，心里非常着急。我很想把饭菜倒掉，但我想到老师曾对我们说过：一粥一饭，当思来之不易。农民伯伯每天日出而作，日落而息，辛辛苦苦种出粮食，而我就这样随便把白花花的大米饭扔掉，那我真要愧对农民伯伯了……想到这些，我又埋头吃起来，直到碗里的饭菜都吃完，我才站起身，把碗轻轻地放到指定的地方，然后才离开食堂。

虽然当我离开食堂的时候，里面的同学已所剩无几，然而我感到很高兴，因为我今天“光盘”了。我觉得我们应该积极参加“光盘”活动，树立勤俭节约的观念，形成一种生活的自觉与时尚。
