Recently, we often show that shopping online is better than in store, but

improve his way of life。 With the tools of technology he has altered many

physical features of the earth。 He has transformed woodlands and prairies into

The environment of the city is getting worse and worse today. There are wastes, air pollution and so on. What can we do to save our city? About the wastes, we should sort the wastes, to see if they can be recycle used; use the reusable shopping bag instead of the plastic bags. About the air pollution, we should go to school on foot or by bike; we should also ask our family not to use car as much as possible, take the subway or bus instead. The advent of modern technology brings a substantial impact on the whole

world. It not only boosts the economy, but also changes the people’s conception

on the world. It also increases global communication among countries. In my

opinion, modern technology is creating a single world culture in that such

In my hometown, there will be a traditional competition, that is the dragon

boat race. People make up the team and fight for the honor. Every boat looks

like the dragon and it is the most obvious feature. A lot of people will come to

visit or watch the match. Then the game begins. The audience will cheer for the

teams and the competitors try their best to make the boat go fast. It is very

lively.

Besides the competition, eating the traditional food zongzi is favored by

everyone. For me, it is very delicious. My grandma makes the best zongzi. She

has the special recipe and it fits my stomach. So every time I go back hometown,

my grandma will make it for me.

In other places, drinking the special wine and hanging the leaf are also

the tradition. The preserve of the traditional festival makes our culture

As the technology and economic is developing, the environment problem is

However. People have realized that it will be too late if they don’t do

Hour” on a Saturday of March of each year. It is a global movement, usually it

lasts from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. It is also called “Light-off for One Hour”. During

this hour, all the light will be turned off. The purpose of this movement is not

only to save energy, but also to warn the people to realize the importance of
