How I Spent My Summer Vacation The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Therefore, our meals are always delicious. We often stay at home for three days and then we leave with others’ wishes. I like the Spring Festival, because I like family gathering.

On spring festival eve,people can special purchase for the spring festival ,do spring festival shopping,light fireworks and paper cuts .on spring festival,children dress new clothes and eat delicious food ,they can put the smork flower.

On the eveving ,people eat dumplings and watch post spring festival couplets.on the beginning of new year,children go to pay new year‘s call and get gift money people wishes their relativas happy.for example‘‘wishing you prosperity ,everything is well,wishing youevery susses‘‘.let‘s happy lunar new year.

In China, the Spring festival is the first day of the lunar year.

People usually start preparing for the festival one month before it comes. They prepare delicious food, and clean and decorate their homes.

On Chinese New Year’s Eve, the family all get together for a big dinner. They stay up till midnight, and then play fireworks and crackers for good luck. 再过几天就是春节了，家家都在准备着年货，打扫着卫生，迎接着这个节日 的到来。

走在街上，人人脸上都洋溢着喜庆的笑容，手里提着大包小包，不用说肯定是新年的衣服。商场里，也是人满为患:有小朋友牵着父母的手一起买衣服的，有夫妻俩甜甜蜜蜜买衣服的，还有儿女牵着长辈有说有笑买衣服的，总之大家都是喜气洋洋的。

来到农村，杀猪宰羊……以各自的风俗庆春节，在有的地方还开始了集市，他喊一声买饮料，他喊一声买衣服，这边喊减价了，那边喊买二送一了，各个东西应有尽有，真是琳琅满目，热闹极啦。

到了春节的大年三十晚上，春节晚会就开始了，演小品、说相声、唱歌什么节目都有，一个节目演完台下掌声一片，直到三更半夜人们都困了，节目才完。节目完了，可人们还兴致勃勃，因为还没发压岁钱、放烟花呢!等干完这一切，差不多十二点了，小孩子们都拿着压岁钱去睡觉了大人要闲聊一阵才去睡。

第二天，人们又得起个大早，带着买好的礼物去走亲戚，亲戚多的要走好几天呢，少的也至少要走一天多。

春节真好，可以让人们忙碌的生活得到放松，也可以为大家枯燥的事情添上一些乐趣。

In the north, steamed-wheat bread (man tou) and small meat dumplings were the preferred food. The tremendous amount of food prepared at this time was meant to symbolize abundance and wealth for the household.
