Because most people can have a long holiday,and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings,we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programs.

My father likes fishing。 He always goes fishing with his friends in Autumn。

One day， he took me to fish， too。 In autumn， fish have grown up。 It is the best season to fish。 First， we chose a good place。 Then my father helped me put an earthworm onto the fishhook。 Afterwards， I threw the fishhook into the river。 I waited for a long time。 Suddenly， I saw the float sink。 I was very happy。 I pulled it out of the water but I only saw half of the earthworm。 The fish played a trick on me。 I was very angry。 But my father said to me， “it takes time。 You need to be more patient。” I tried again。 A few minutes later， I caught a big fish and I showed it to my father。 My father praised me， “what a good angler you are！”

我爸爸喜欢钓鱼。他总是和他的朋友们在秋天去钓鱼。

春节是中国的传统节日，我们这里的春节可热闹了。在小年这天大伙都开始忙活了，这一天家家户户都在家中大扫除，这儿拖拖，那儿擦擦好，可以干干净净过个好年。小年过后除夕就接踵而来，这一天还要挂灯笼、贴春联、放鞭炮的，你瞧，每家每户都照灯结彩，好一派喜气洋洋的景色。

我们家也不例外，男人们拿来梯子正忙着挂灯笼、贴春联：女人们在厨房里热火朝天地准备着做年夜饭的材料；我们仨小孩也没闲着，正在给大人们倒水、加油。家中好不热闹。

晚上，开始吃年夜饭了。我们端坐在方桌上，各色各样的美食映入眼帘。逗得我“口水直流三千尺”。不过，再好的美食也不能冷却我看烟花的热情。

草草吃了年夜饭我就来到院子中点燃了“开门红”，只听一声声“轰轰”烟花好像一个个爱炫耀的孩子迫不及待的直冲云霄，展显自己炫丽的样子，在空中绽放，变成一朵朵娇艳的花儿，是那么五彩缤纷，紧接着一条条形态各异的烟花窜入天空，一会儿像孔雀开屏；一会儿像银蛇飞舞；一会儿像天女散花……整个天空霎时间变成了五彩的世界，鲜花的世界。随着舅舅放完了最后一个烟花，我们只好依依不舍地回到家中。

在我们这不管男女老少都要守岁，年长者守岁是为了“辞旧岁”，珍爱光阴；年轻人守岁是为父母能长寿，古往今来都是如此。我们仨也只能待到凌晨，这时我们又会开始放爆竹，这就是春节的开门红。接下来的几天我们小孩就会跟着大人走亲访友去拜年，最开心的是我们小孩还有红包。

正月十五元宵的到来又将春节推向另一个新高潮，家中的男女老小又会欢聚一堂围坐在饭桌上有说有笑吃着汤圆，寓意象征全家团团圆圆，和睦幸福。

一转间，热闹的春节又结束了，美好的时光总是这么短暂，我们又将步入学校，进行新一年的学习。
