过了这一天，也就是腊月二十九一早，我们一家一起吃早饭。早饭与我们平时吃的很不一样。平时吃的是面包配牛奶这一类的，可今天吃的却是平时的午饭：白切鸡、鹅肉、青菜和粉丝，再配上白米饭。而中午吃的则是昨天做好的鹅板汤。

除夕这一天人们又开始忙碌起来了。一大早，大人们就把字画涂上浆糊，贴在大门口、房门口和厨房地等地方。门外不时地传来爆竹的响声。傍晚，按照惯例，孩子们都已经用不同叶子煮的水洗好了澡，正满心欢喜地穿着新衣服，到处都在比谁的新衣更漂亮，谁都不愿服输。到晚上吃饭的点了，所有人都聚在院子里，吃着年夜饭。每一年人都会有很多，随便数数都有十几个人了。每次年夜饭时，菜都会准备很多，饭准备得相对来说比较少，因为大多数长辈都只是吃菜饱的。

不过，最有趣的要数“拔个”了，爸爸一下子把我举到了门框边上，叫我用双手抓紧门框，大人们有的在为我助威，有的在为我数数，看我能坚持多久。今年我太高兴了，我坚持了十秒，打破了我个人的记录。

Mother’s Day is a holiday when children honor their mothers with cards, gifts and flowers. 我认为英语成为我们学生的学习主科有其道理性和针对性的针对学生的发展未来。从对国家发展来看英语占全世界的国家讲的人数虽不是最多的，但却是分布的最广乏于国家的，包括很多的发达国家，中国学习这门语言对走出世界，同其他国家交流沟通发挥了很大的作用，如果取消这门沟通语言之门便少了日后中国发挥国际地位中的作用，众所周知，中国早已加入世界贸易组织，若贸然作出取消英语科目的决定，其进一步从长远地发展眼光看便可想而知。

作为学生，许多人的其他科目优势都能被英语这门科目好多了，但无论如何学好英语对学生的将来只有利大于弊，如果其他都学好只有英语差，对将来是不利的，要想睁大眼睛看世界，就得努力使自己插上翅膀飞出中国面对多样化，缤纷多彩的世界，到一个发达的地区闯出一片天，再把自己的国家发展好。

义务教育阶段时期在小学时便把语文，数学英语，这三门科目定为了主要学习科目，其实英语只要从小学基础打起，便觉得好学，多听，多说，脑海里会自然形成像语文那样会听，会说的一种能力。

今天我去英瑞特上英语，刚想给魏老师打个招呼，没想到她对我摆摆手说：“我已经不给你们讲课了，新来的蔡老师要接替我的工作。”我一下子惆怅若失，心里空荡荡的，打心眼里憎恨那位把魏老师换走的新老师。

课上了一半，枯躁无味的新概念把我们带到了一个乏味的世界，当教到case（盒子）这个单词时，我们再也没有兴趣继续学习了。老师看了看我们痛苦的表情，灵机一动，说：“我给你们讲个故事吧。在我读大学时，给我们教英语的是个男老师，在学case这个单词时，他问：“Who can give me a case？（谁能给我一个盒子）”，但我们都把case听成了同音词kiss（吻），老师看没人举手，便走到一个女生面前，问：“Can you give me a case？(你能给我一个盒子吗）”，只见她慢慢站起来，脸比苹果还红，然后不好意思地亲了一下老师，捂着脸坐下了。搞得那位教授丈二和尚摸不着头脑，莫名其妙地把嘴张成了O型。”蔡老师的话音还没落，全班同学早已笑成了一锅粥。

人不可貌相，海水不可斗量。蔡老师的课比我想象中的要精彩百倍，我希望所有的老师上课都这么幽默，让我们在轻松愉快的气氛中掌握知识。
