Educators have known for a long time that people learn in different ways. That is why teachers present information in various forms. 今天就是英语外研比赛的日子了，我被安排在下午2.30那场，老妈的单位离考场比较近，上午我便跟她去单位值班。

这是初赛，演讲的内容是自我介绍加才艺表演。我看到有的选手准备得真棒!不光自己化了淡妆，还梳了很复杂很漂亮的辫子，有的还穿了美丽的裙子。有不少同学手里拿了画板，上面是他们精心绘制的图画，他们边指着自己的画边小声念着英语，看来他们的才艺表演一定是用英语介绍自己的画了。而我的才艺显得多么的微不足道，我只打算读一首英文小诗。

上午考完的同学在群里发来信息，他们说很简单，评委主要看你的口语能力，觉得背不好的，也可以直接读，我终于有了一些安心。

三分钟终于结束了，我向三位评委鞠了躬说了“thank you”之后，心情才平静下来。

因为我是最后一场，所以，我来到家长区没多久，就有老师进来，当场宣布进入复赛的同学名单了。老师神采飞扬，声音洪亮，她说：“非常高兴地通知大家，祝贺以下进入复赛的同学，读到名字的同学也请家长一起上台!”

接着老师便念“张三，李四”，没有我的名字!

我沮丧极了，连为大家鼓掌的力气都没有了。
