Later ,they were promoted continuously. Gongsun Hong became the prime minister and Zhang Tang became the imperial censor. However, JiAns post remained thesame. One day, Ji An said to Emperor Wudi that the way the emperor used his ministers was just like piling up firewood, which meant that the latecomers surpassed the old-timers. Of course, Emperor Wudi could see that Ji An was complaining. So,turning to his ministers, Emperor Wudi said, "It is true that no one can stop learning.You see, Ji An is making more and more indiscreet remarks."

This story comes from The Historical Records. Later generations use the set phrase "the latecomers surpass the old-timers " to indicate that successors can cxcel the predecessors, which is quite different from the original idea when Ji An said that the latecomers surpassed the old-timers.

一次，我准备在手机上下载一个学习软件，可怎么也能不好，我就请教一位同学，这位同学把我的手机拿到一边，没两分钟就能好了。我心想为什么要背着我呢，难道是怕我学会了给她“比下去”。既然这么简单为什么不教会我，教会我下次就不麻烦你了。其实如果她乐意教我，我会非常感谢她，当她以后遇到困难时我会尽力帮助她。这样一种互帮互助的局面不是很好吗?为什么要让善良之心没有发挥的余地呢?

无论是帮助非洲难民种粮食，还是用一句话改变一个人的命运，都是我们身边的平凡小事，遇到了，不能讽刺他们，要鼓励、帮助他们。真正的善良的心就是这样的。

在我的成长路上，我始终难忘那一次失败带给我的教训，它让我这个娇生惯养的千金小姐真正懂得了什么叫山外有山，人外有人。那一年，我刚好升入六年级，学习特别吃紧，老师每天都要布置卷子，可是我仍旧没放弃对写作的热爱。机会来了。那一天中午，老师找我谈话，希望我去参加学校的第一届作文朗诵比赛。 On my growth path, I always unforgettable that lesson that failed to bring me.There are people outside.That year, I just came to the sixth grade and studied particularly tightly. 我信心满满地答应了，内心是掩饰不祝的狂喜。下楼的时候，我把这个好消息告诉了几个同伴。她们听了，对我也是大加赞赏，眼神里流露出真切的羡慕。这些，都成为了让我膨胀起来的发酵粉。听着这赞美，想到我平日里获得的那么多获奖证书，一时之间，我有些得意忘形。

回到家后，我首先做的，不是去好好做准备，也不是去了解自己的不足之处，而是向着家人们不可一世地炫耀自己的幸运和才华。我拍着胸脯，站在家里的客厅中央，昂着头，满口对自己的溢美之词，说得唾沫都快干了：“妈妈你就放心吧，这一次准保没问题，这些比赛我都参加了千回百回了，根本没什么可注意的!”

可我忽视了重要的一点，悲剧往往就是在你不经意的时候来到的。比赛的日子如约而至。当老师叫到我的名字，当我迈进那间教室，当我独自一人面对那镜头，我才感觉到自己有多么心虚，手中不停地出汗，脑袋也是嗡嗡作响。

“我最喜欢的一本书是是”我忘词了，原先背得溜溜顺的台词在心中没了影子，好好的比赛就这么被我自己搞砸了，我悔得肠子都青了，回头才发觉，自己连哭的资格都没有。

这是一次难忘的失败，当结果出来以后，我忍受了老师失望的眼神和同学们毫不留情的嘲笑，可我不怨任何人，一切都是我自找的。我会牢记这次失败，从今以后，我都不会再如此轻薄浮躁，自夸自大，而是踏踏实实走好自己人生的每一步，只有这样，我们才能收获属于自己的鲜花和掌声。

there are a great many hobbies to choose from. some people enjoy collecting coins or stampes,

ohers choose to spend their time on sports or music.

I have many hobbies,but playing basketball is my favorite one.

At weekends, we always build a team to play basketball against anoher one in our neighbourhood.

The competitions brought us so much fun.

I think playing basketball is a good way to build up ones body and relax oneself.

But I will always remember that its unwise to spend too much time playing.

现在有很多爱好可供选择，一些人喜欢收集硬币或者邮票，其他人则喜欢把时间花费在音乐和运动方面.

我也有许多爱好，但是打篮球是我最喜欢的，
