Valentine’s Day is on the February 14 each year. It is celebrated in many

countries around the world, although it remains a working day in most of them.

After New Years Day, it is the most celebrated holiday around the world. It’s a

holiday for lovers or couples. This is a festival of love and romance, as well

as flowers, chocolates, greeting cards. On that day, there are many activities

for couples to celebrate, showing their love to mate. Gift exchanging is the

most common. In recent years, February 14 become much more popular than before,

although there is another Valentine’s Day in China. Besides, there are many

people choose that day to propose marriage or get married. In short, it’s a day

of love.

The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. And during my winter vacation, we welcome the most important festival in

China—Spring Festival, it’s also called Chinese New Year by lots of

foreigners.

At that night, our family came together and had a big meal. Of course we

had dumplings that night, because that is our Chinese traditional. We then watch

the CCTV spring festival evening party together and watch the beautiful

fireworks. That’s the happiest time in this world! The winter vacation I had

dreamed all year around was finally coming. And I really enjoyed a lot from

it.

The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. I also arranged myself the books and words I need to read and recite.

Secondly, I took some extracurricular activities and read some English original

reading. My favorite book is , written by Sherlock Holmes. Among all the

classical movies, the Sound of Music was the most exciting one. During my

holidays I also made some assistance for my physical class teacher, surely I met

lots of difficulties in this stage and from which I knew what perseverance

really was. Lastly, I went to the temple fair and was lucky to taste several

Chinese traditional dishes; “Jiaohua chicken” is one of them. It is said it

originated from Hangzhou centuries ago, made by a famous beggar Hong Qi Gong,

the senior leader of Beggar Gang.Steamed with fresh lotus leaf wrapped up,it is

famous for its special aroma and taste. Now that the holiday is ending and a new

semester is coming, I need to fresh up and get started to embrace the upcoming

challenges.

Now I’m studying in Hunan First Normal College, which is Chairman Mao’s former school. I major in English, because I find it so fun and interesting. College life is much different from high school life. In college, we should acquire knowledge as well as improve our integrated abilities. After class, I usually go to the English Corner. There I can practice my oral English by talking with foreigners or chatting with my schoolmates. Now, I’m able to communicate with foreigners well. Sometimes I also take part in some social activities. For instance, last weekend I attended an interesting play. As it was my first performance, I felt a little nervous at the beginning. But when I appeared on the stage, I made every audience laugh happily. I was so proud of myself at that moment, because this was my first achievement.

With the rapid process of modernization, computer becomes more and more

popular. Nowadays, almost every family has a computer. Because of computers, our

daily life is improving.

Computer has a great effect on our daily life. In the first place, computer

has so many functions. As we have computers, we neednt buy books, radios, TVs

and any other things, because computer can take place of them. Secondly, surfing

on the Internet must be very interesting. Through the Internet, we can do

everything we like. Thirdly, thanks to the Internet, we can get the further

education at any time, so we dont have to get up so early in winter days.

However, a coin has two sides, because its new doesnt mean its always

good. At present, most students spend too much time on computer games. I dont

think its a good phenomenon, because it will do great harm to our eyes as well

as our health if we play computer games all the time.

In my opinion, we should use the computers in the right way. For instance,

we can read the latest news on the internet to know the world better; read the

e-books to enrich our knowledge or download some useful information for our

work. We can also make different friends on the Internet, so that our life will

be colorful. I believe computers will be our best friends if we make good use of

them.

Most children don’t like to go to school, and they just want to enjoy

Yesterday was Jacks shopping day. He went shopping with his mother.

They went to the Happy Shop . They bought some pieces of candy. They are 4

yuan. They bought a roll of toilet paper. They bought a carton of ice cream at

Mr. Chens Store .They bought a bottle of shampoo and a pair of socks at Uncle

Eddys Store . They went to the Big Blue Department Store. They bought a toy

car. Its 105 yuan.

They were very happy.

前天，我偶然来到了我曾读过书的小学。

这里似乎也没变什么，只是感觉学校很小罢了~从前的小学是这样的：教学楼加食堂加厕所加教研楼加启芳亭。现在增加了两样东西：围棋俱乐部和游乐场。闲话且住~

弹指过了n年，我又重回故地，一切都是熟悉又陌生。我一进学校大门就望到了启芳亭。看到了它，我又想起了我的小学语文老师是怎么教我写作文的。

我很清楚的记得，我们没一年差不多都要写一次启芳亭。它坐落在学校的东南角。老师每次都要这么说：“它代表了我们学校。”至于为什么代表，我一直不清楚。也不必解释。

现在我可以描述老师当时要求我们的宗旨：对于学校的事物需要加以赞美，要充分体现对学校的热爱之情。因为我从没听见语文老师教我们时说过其它的什么，除开要赞美还是要赞美。

老师教我们写启芳亭的第一步，是这样的：先写它位于学校的哪个方位，然后再写自己非常喜爱它，还有如何如何喜爱，到了什么程度。所以，写出来的作文，大部分都如出一辙。

第二步：从时间顺序或者空间顺序来写。eg：按时间顺序写的内容，基本是这样的：春天，万物复苏，启芳亭也显得格外有生机，一片勃勃生气的样子。到了夏天，启芳亭成了我们嬉戏的好地方，它像一把伞为我们遮蔽烈日。它就是我们的妈妈。。。。。。

第三步：就是结尾什么的，要点题，要写自己很喜爱启芳亭，永远永远像刀疤一样深深烙在脑海里。

哦，天啊!今天的月亮真圆。月亮两边的云似乎组成了四个字“中秋节团圆”。我看着这圆圆的月亮和朦胧的云彩，渐渐沉迷其中......

突然，爷爷拍了拍我的肩膀!“孙女，阿姨，叔叔来了，还有你表哥。进去庆祝中秋节!”我高兴地跳进了房子。啊!多热闹的房间啊!一桌子的水果、饼干、糖果、月饼等等让我眼花缭乱。再看看我的弟弟，在床上快乐地跳来跳去，而我的表弟在房间里一边看电视一边玩电脑。成年人一会儿忙着照顾孩子，一会儿忙着包饺子。我呢?一会儿帮助大人，一会儿看孩子和他们一起玩，一会儿看电脑，一会儿看电视，像个小精灵，在卧室、厨房和客厅里飞来飞去。很忙。最后，饺子熟了。吃完后，我们一家人把桌子搬到外面，开始吃月饼来赏月。

但是弟弟们不听话，他们终于在一起了。不在院子里闹事很奇怪。而我和这些大人则坐在院子里赏月。奶奶先开口：“哇!月亮太圆了!一年只有一次，多么珍贵。就像我们家很少见面一样。”爷爷听了之后，一个接一个地讲“时代经典”。他们愉快地交谈着，我闷闷不乐地听着。突然，两个无视月亮的弟弟说：“哇，月亮真圆!我从未见过它。如果是月饼，我会把它摘下来吃掉。”听完之后，我惊讶地说：“兄弟，你只见过一次吗?”弟弟羞愧地说：“口误，口误!”全家人哄堂大笑。

The time of middle school is short and precious, but for some students,

they sit in the class and dont show any passion to learn knowledge. They like

to do something that is against what teachers tell them to do. Such as when the

teacher is presenting knowledge, they choose to read novel, or when it is the

这时，春姑娘来到草原外，看到了一些牧人在放牧。一些牛在悠闲地吃草，一副既享受又懒散的样子。她又看到一些羊群在一边奔跑着，一边叫着，似乎也是在欢呼春天的到来。

夕阳西下，太阳公公也只剩下半边脸了。这时，彩虹出来了，赤橙黄绿青蓝紫，春姑娘看着看着就痴了，阿!春姑娘困了，她疲惫地舒展着自己的腰身，心里回想着她今天看到的大自然的情景，甜蜜地睡着了。

礼貌，几乎在每一刻都存在。不管在什么时候，就拿这一次来说说吧。

我约了几个小伙伴下楼来玩。小李说：“咱们玩三个字吧!”“好啊!”我和小王异口同声地说。“剪子、包袱、锤”结果小王输了，我和小李胜了。小王开始抓我和小李，第一次小王抓到了小李，可就剩一点才能抓住呢!可小王偏偏说他抓住了小李，小李执着地说：“哼，你耍赖!你要再这样，我们就不带你玩了!”“呸”小王吐了小李一口唾沫。“你干嘛?”小李说。“我不干嘛!”小王说。话音才刚落，小王就出了一拳，小李不服气，也给了小王一拳。就这样，他们便激烈地打了起来。小李说：“你不讲理。”小王没好气地说：“我就不讲理!”两人打得不分胜负。我生气地说：“别打了，别打了!”可他们还在继续打。我说：“既然咱们做了朋友，就务必互相帮忙，哪有当了朋友就互相打架的。”我讲完以后，他们停了下来。小王不好意思地说：“我……不就应这样，对……不起!”小李高兴地说：“没关系!”两人就拉起手来继续高兴地做游戏。

看，这样的事例我想不止一个，所以朋友之间要互相帮忙，这样才能创造出一个和谐的社会。

您好!在这几年里，我有一大堆事想对您，说但都不敢说，现在，就借这次机会给您一吐为快吧。

从一年级到四年级，您都为我们操碎了心，而我们却不知您的用心良苦，还常惹您生气。

记得有一次，下课铃一响，我们就像一支离弦的箭似的飞奔出去，在操场上你追我赶，多不安全啊!您不厌其烦给我们讲安全，我们却把这当成耳边风。

您常为我们做到呕心沥血，我们却变本加厉，肆无忌惮。我们当时就犹如一个无知小孩。对不起，老师!

老师，我多希望您把那紧锁的双眉松开，露出那温和慈善的面容，那时的您是多么的青春美丽啊!
