三月十二日是植树节，可是，我没有参加学校组织的植树节活动。第二天，将功补过，在自家小区里种下了花种。

那天早上，我拿了一袋鸡冠花种子和两棵芦荟，带上劳动工具和一个水瓶，来到楼下。我和哥哥找了一块地方，因为没有铲子，我们只好用螺丝刀替代。我用螺丝刀挖了两个小坑，把芦荟一棵一棵地种下，还在边上撒上一圈鸡冠花种子。然后，浇上一壶水就大功告成了。
