How To Be A Happy Kid

Good morning, dear judges!

My name is Joyce. Today I will give a speech about How To Be A Happy Kid.

Everyone deserves to have a happy childhood. We all know, life isn’t

easy all the time, even for children.

One time I didn’t do well on a math test. It was the first time for me

to get such a low mark. I felt miserable about it. When I got home, without

saying a single word to my parents, I rushed into my own room. I sat down

in front of my piano. Unconsciously, music came out from my fingers. I was

lost in the beauty of the music. My heart flew with the song in the air. The

piano music was just like a wise old man consoling me with soft words. After

playing the music, I felt very calm and happy.

We shouldn’t lack for joy in life. The key is to find ways

After reading The Little Princess， I am deeply impressed by Sara’s way to deal with difficulties. The Little Princess was written by Frances Hodgson Burnett， a famous novelist and dramatist. Sara， the heroine of the novel， was born in a rich family. In order to get a better education， her father took her from India to London so that she could go to the best school. Because Sara was kind-hearted， generous and most of all—rich， she was loved by everyone. All went well until her father died in an accident. Everything changed pletely. She didn’t understand why the teachers and classmates treated her so badly. Even the principal who used to be fond of her， made her work 16 hours a day. 六年级下学期刚开始，老师便对我们说：“今年你们就要毕业了，一定要端正学习的态度，争取考个好成绩。”此时的我却悠然自得地坐在座位上，满脸期待：一是因为离毕业的时间越来越近了；二是还有那么多天的时间，有什么好担心的。于是我便安然地度过了这一段日子。

考试前半个月，我在体育课上与同学们聊得正欢，打打闹闹，无话不谈。朋友之间敞开了心扉，互相玩笑着。说着说着，我的心中忽然升起了几丝不舍。是啊，想这样快乐的时光，还能再持续多久呢？想到最后一次的校运会，大家为了争取这最后的班级荣誉，努力上进，争分夺秒。而这种情景，什么时候还会再出现呢？离毕业的时间不远了，我还是好好珍惜不。

考试当天，当我在不知不觉中写完了最后一笔，如释重负地放下手中的水性笔后，我忽然惊觉：明天就是毕业典礼了。这让我一瞬间有些恍惚，“只有二十几个小时了”对我造成了不小的精神冲击。原来时间那么快，明天就是了。那是一种无法表述出的感觉，我就好像还在做梦似的。

第二天，毕业典礼终究还是到了。当主持人走上讲台，念出开场白，邀请老师上来致辞的那一瞬间，我几乎可以感觉到，教室里的所有人都紧张地屏住了呼吸，脸上表情非常凝重，没有谁是快乐的。我想想以前对毕业的憧憬，心中感到可笑，但更多的是不舍。我看着台上的老师，她笑着鼓励着我们，但两个月后，教授给我们知识的人就再也不是她了。我紧紧咬着牙尖，努力把快要湿润眼眶的泪水憋了回去。很快，大家开始了聚餐，但谁都知道，这是一次散伙饭，是六十七个人最后一次齐聚在一起的时刻。吃完了，吃饱了，吃得开心了，便什么都没有了。那熟悉的人坐在一起上课，还伴着点笑声、骂声的日子也没有了，早已习惯的情景也会被淡忘。大家吵吵闹闹地吃着美食，心里却是痛并快乐着。那一刻，什么都不重要了，考试成绩不重要了，老师曾经对我们有多严格也不重要了，毕业后会如何也不重要了……重要的，是现在这最后的时光。

剩下一年半，马上毕业，心情不知道什么滋味，曾经爱过的，曾经痛恨的，曾经痴迷过的，曾经信奉的，曾经依赖的空间和时间已经随着时间轴远离我而去，我像一粒正在下沉的海沙，我想抓住温暖，我想抓住阳光，我想抓住我在地面看到的一切，我无法控制我自己，寒冷无情的将那把冰仞插入我的心房，暗流暗笑着把恐惧外套披在我的身上，重力更放肆的将我拉入地狱。阳光离我而去，陌生的世界里，寒冷，恐惧，孤独成为我的朋友。曾经痛恨过的，曾经不以为常的，此刻都却成我的最爱，还何况我曾经爱过的，痴迷过的和信奉过的。

Unlike Martin Luther King’s, my dreams are fair and plain, and there are

many of them. I have a dream from the first time I sit in a car—I want to

drive.

Driving is like running without foot, racing without strength. It’s the

most meaningful way to meet human being’s desire of “faster”. When driving, I

have to put all my spirit to. Operating a car at ease will cost years of

experience.

Driving will take me to my wanting destination, no matter it rains or snows

or winds. I never am afraid of shoes wet, umbrella broken or ears frozen. A car

is rather like a moving house, which protects me completely and helps me rush

directly to the aim hanging ahead. That suits my nature perfectly: love to take

risks conservatively. A smooth ride in a good car is an enjoyable satisfaction.

Seeing rows of trees moving backward rapidly, a feeling of stepping forward will

Father told me that a driver would never have carsick. That may be one of the

important reasons for me to desire driving.

This summer I am going to learn driving and get my car license. The dream

this year‘s summer vacation was most enjoyable. i spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where i saw mountains fields covered with green plants. sometimes i went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.
