My Home Town

My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.

But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had no work. They lived a hard life.

In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories， schools， hospitals， cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved.

I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

I am primary school now, this is my second year, in order to focus more on my study, I live in school now, I will go home on the weekend. Our school is under construction lately, the workers are doing their work in the daytime, the machines make out large noise, I can’t focus my mind on the study.

That’s not the worse situation, when I take a nap in the afternoon, the machines are still working, I can’t sleep. So when I wake up, my head is not well working, I want to sleep all the day.

The school should limit the time for the workers, they should stop working during the snap time for school. It will be reasonable for students.

When memory began for me, my grandfather was past sixty-a great tall man

In the next few minutes I learned a lesson I would not forget: when Gramp

said I could if I wanted to, he meant that I should want to.

Gram hated cruelty and injustice. The injustices of history, even those of

a thousand years before, angered her as much as the injustices of her own

She also had a deep love of beauty. When she was almost seventy-five, and

had gone to live with one of her daughters, she spent a delightful morning

Tomb Sweeping Day is on the April 5th every year. Its a day to show our great respect to our deceased ancestors. On that day, we usually sweep the tomb of our ancestors and offer them food and drinks. We also burn paper money to them. It is believed that our ancestors in heaven will receive the money. Besides, everything in our nature takes on a new look on that day, so its the best time for spring outing. It must be fun and relaxing.

This story’s name is “The little prince”。 As it known to all， we will encounter a lot of difficulties， even hardships. Different people may have different ways to deal with them. After reading The Little Princess， I am deeply impressed by Sara’s way to deal with difficulties. The Little Princess was written by Frances Hodgson Burnett， a famous novelist and dramatist. Sara， the heroine of the novel， was born in a rich family. In order to get a better education， her father took her from India to London so that she could go to the best school. Because Sara was kind-hearted， generous and most of all—rich， she was loved by everyone. All went well until her father died in an accident. Everything changed pletely. She didn’t understand why the teachers and classmates treated her so badly. Even the principal who used to be fond of her， made her work 16 hours a day. Compared with Sara—an eleven years old girl who can treat the pressure of life with optimistic spirit， these people’s performances are sounded so lamentable. Why can’t they make it?However， what impress me most are her characteristics and the thought of her “being a real princess.” This “real princess” does not mean luxury palaces， beautiful clothes and the apple of the others’ eyes， but being kind， generous and having good manners. It is unnecessary for “a real princess” to be strong in body， but she must be strong in will. Sara is a real princess in my heart all the time， whether she was rich and wore beautiful clothes in the classroom or she was cold and hungry in the attic， just because she had the good characters and kind heart. The story went on. Fortunately， a friend of Sara’s father found her and told her that her father left a great sum of money to her. I pray and believe that every good person in the world deserve a good result， and of course， we are the same.

I have studied in my middle school for three years.My life in middle school

is rich and I have learned a lot. I get knowledge from text books as well as

from extra curricular activities. I studied hard in the past three years so that

I got perfect scores. But, I also attach importance to other aspects, such as

making friends, hobbies, health and sports. I build good relationships with my

classmates. They become an important part of my life.I like to chat with them

after class that makes me relax and comfortable. My hobby is swimming. Every

Sunday morning, I go to swim with my friends or my father. When I have fun, I

government has long proposed clear targets for governance. As every ordinary

person in real life, although it is impossible to work directly in environmental

My school is big and beautiful. It is in my hometown. There are many flowers, trees and grass there. There is a track on the playground, too.

Im in Class 3, Grade 6. In my school, every grade has three classes. There are seven lessons every day. We must get up at 5:30, because our school bus comes at 6:30. We get to school probably at 6:55. Our class begins at 7:50. We eat lunch at school at 12:00. We finish school at 3:30. So we go home very early. After school, I do my homework at home. Sometimes, I play football with my friends. We are all very happy. This is my school!

I have dinner at about 6:30 p.m.. After dinner, I often go to the outside to play games with my friends. We live near to each other, so we always play together.
