成吉思汗

Genghis Khan, "Khan of Khans", was the great leader of Mongolians. At the

end of 12th century, he united Mongolian tribes and challenged other powers to

expand his huge Mongolian empire, which extended from South China to the Caspian

Sea.

In 1277, Khan attacked the West Xia Kingdom (presently Ningxia) and

encountered strong resistance. He died of disease and age. The great emperor was

later buried secretly according to Mongolian custom. It says that after the

burial 2,000 men were slaughtered by some 800 soldiers who were in turn executed

so that the location of the real tomb remains a secret.

There are four sacrifice ceremonies held annually to commemorate the great

hero and leader of the Mongolian people. The ceremony, held on March 21st on

lunar calendar, is the grandest. After the ceremony, horse racing, archery and

wrestling are held as entertainment.

Summer is so hot. It hasn’t rained for more than one month and the air is

so stuffy. But today, the rain finally comes. I am so happy when I see the dark

cloud. It is so cool, when wind blows. The wind blow my face. When rain stops, I

go out of the house and breathe the fresh air. What a comfortable day.

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. 《外婆的道歉信》是一本既有趣又感人的故事书，爱莎的外婆真是个“活泼过头”的老太婆!她的胆子好大，居然敢对着警察扔粪球，对一个护士说“你有一个漂亮的大屁股!”而且爱莎的外婆也很疯狂，她不仅在开车时边抽烟边吃烤肉，还用膝盖驾驶车，如果她踩下离合器，并且大喊着“快，就是现在!”爱莎就得立刻换挡，真是让我难以想象。

读了后面的故事以后，我又觉得爱莎非常可怜，从小父母离异，每两周才能和爸爸一起过一个周末，平时和妈妈住在一起，又在心里害怕妈妈肚子里的“小半”会获得妈妈全部的爱。在学校里，老师又认为她不合群，同学又经常欺负她。在故事开始不久后她又失去了自己唯一的朋友——外婆，外婆可是最支持爱莎的人，不管爱莎是对还是错，总是无条件地爱着她。我很喜欢爱莎，因为她是一个善良的孩子，当别的孩子欺负她时，她也不会去告诉家长或者老师，因为她知道如果她告诉自己的家人或者老师，欺负她的孩子就会受到惩罚，而且她也明白如果自己的外婆知道他们打自己一定会痛欧他们的!所以爱莎总是选择隐身和逃跑。值得高兴的是，爱莎在执行外婆留下来的寻宝游戏过程中，慢慢地获得了很多真心爱她朋友——呜嘶，狼心，出租车司机等，其中也包括妈妈。

值得人思考的是，我们的生活中是否需要想象力?记得十几年前的联想电脑就有一句很有名的广告词：人类失去联想，世界将会怎样?基于联想能力之上的想象力对我们的生活来说，虽然看不到摸不着，但真的是很重要的。书中的八岁孩子爱莎一直和外婆愉悦地穿行于现实生活和想象王国中，每次读的时候，都会让我想到我几乎没有朋友的童年，那个时候也许我也是一个像爱莎一样“不合群”的小女孩吧?我不喜欢明星，不喜欢织毛衣，不喜欢没事儿东家长西家短地唠嗑，而总是在脑海中编织一个又一个故事，于是，也像爱莎一样在学校中受欺负，现在想想，除了因为跳级而产生的和同学的年龄差，更主要的是他们觉得我是一个很被宠爱的怪小孩儿吧?

书中反复论证了难道我们一定要成为一个合群的小孩子吗?是不是我们可以成长为自己想要的样子?其实，小孩子们的世界天真而又残忍，合群是对自己最大的保护，可是，对于自己的内心而言，又是最大的舍弃，因为，连自己都否定了自己，会让自己质疑存在的意义。之前写从教感言时，我回顾了自己三十多年的人生，最终确定的主题是“做自己”，我很庆幸对书籍的挚爱让我有着丰富的阅读量，从书中见识到了人生百态，并且保留了不断反思的好习惯，于是，我清晰地认识到从内心接纳自己，并且也在不断的努力下有了做自己的可能性，并最终成长为今天并不会让自己很失望的样子。可是，有很多的孩子会在这个过程中迷失自己吧?如果真的感到迷茫，我建议，这本书值得一读。

一开始我看到这本书的书名还以为这本书讲的是外婆给主人公小女孩爱莎的道歉信呢!结果没想到，这本书讲的其实是外婆给公寓里所有的邻居的道歉信。那些邻居和外婆之间有着很不一般的故事，外婆给爱莎讲的童话故事其实也都是真实的事情，慢慢地，爱莎也明白了外婆原来和她说过的一些话到底是什么意思。虽然校长说爱莎很不合群，但是其实她很特别，不，应该说是非常特别!她是一个非常特别的女孩，就像外婆说的与众不同。

这是一本特别温情又特别搞笑的书，读的过程中一会儿让你眼泪汪汪想哭，一会儿又逗得你哈哈大笑，有时候还让你为爱莎担心。当外婆死的时候我就跟着爱莎一起难过，难过的眼泪都出来了。当听到密阿码斯只有国庆日才能吃肉桂卷，而密阿码斯每天都是国庆日时，我又忍不住哈哈大笑，感觉太幽默了。当进入注射公园，那些人追爱莎的时候我又为爱莎担心得心都提到嗓子眼了。这样的情况在这本书中实在太多太多了!

我太喜欢这本书了，希望大家也都能去读一读这本既有趣又感人的书!

I have a new pen pal. Her name is Rosa. She is an American schoolgirl. She

was born in April， 1992. Only two years older than me. She likes swimming. She

says she swims very well. She lives with her parents. Her father is a doctor.

Her mother is a teacher. But they don’t in the same school. She studies English，

math， music， history and some other subject at school. In her free time， she

One day I was going out on the road, I found out that I had left my wallet,

found out that going on foot my feet was like very sour, then I had to go back

and ride on my bike. When I road it almost half way to school, I figured out

that my project was at home, I had to go back again; that made me exhausted, but

I prefer that way since my teacher is going crazy the past few days. I went home

and got my project, then I hopped on again; I knew that all of my stuff was

packed up, but my bike tires were out of air; at that time, I was full of anger

and stamped my feet.

I had to walk home and park it, after that I walked to school. When I was

walking and walking, I was wondering what time it was; since I had my watch on

my wrist, I know what time it is. But, when I just lifted my wrist to my face to

see what time it was, Ah! Time gave me the answer that: There was only two more

minutes until school starts!

I rushed to school as fast as my legs could carry me. When I arrived, the

teacher asked me, “Why are you so late?” I didn’t answer, the teacher gave me

extra homework, but it was just like usual. In the noon my dad didn’t question

me about it, and so I was safe.

It was a very funny story, and it was like that I had a very unlucky habit;

it was actually nothing to worry about since I got my grades up my schoolwork

was always finished in time, and so I had nothing to worry about anymore. It was

a very glad day.

But I just wish that life is better than this.
