也许你会很惊讶，我最好的朋友是书。不过你不用怀疑你听到的，这是真的，我最好的朋友是书。在我还是个小孩的时候我就喜欢阅读。书中的知识能让我开心，平静。当我不开心的时候。我会去找我最好的朋友——书。之后我就会忘记了让我不开心的事情，被书中的内容吸引住了。从书中我懂得了海伦凯勒是的故事，知道了古代的历史，还了解到了我从未到过的国外的文化。所以，我觉得书永远都会是我最好的朋友。

我的朋友My Friend

Zeng Qiao is one of my friends。 She is a beautiful， outgoingand

good-tempered girl。 She smiles frequently。 I think it’s her smile that makes her

beauty。 We live in the same dormitory， so that we always stay together， no

matter going to classroom or having dinners。 At first， I don’t like her very

much， because she is always talking。 It seems that she can’t stop open her

mouth。 I am a little bit quiet and introverted， so I seldom talk to others。 But

gradually， I find that she can have influence on others by what she says。 Zeng

Qiao likes sharing interesting things with others。 For example， she likes

telling us her funny stories of her childhood or her former classmates。 She

always tells me that I should be more extroverted and learn to talk to others。

Under the influence of her， I municate with others more frequently and I find

that it feels so great。 I am so grateful that I can have such a good friend。

曾巧是我的一个朋友，她是个漂亮活波，脾气又好的女孩子。她很喜欢笑，我觉得是她的笑容使她看上去漂亮。我们住同一间宿舍，因此不管是去教室还是吃饭都形影不离。之前我并不喜欢她，我认为她太喜欢说话了，总是停不住她的嘴。相反我性格内向，喜欢安静，很少跟别人说话。但是渐渐地，我发现她是个善于用言语影响别人的女孩子，她喜欢跟别人分享搞笑的事，那些童年的故事或是以前同学的事情。她经常开导我要变得外向，多试着跟别人说话。在她的影响下，我跟别人交流也更多了，并且发现这感觉十分好。我觉得有这样的朋友很幸运!

有人喜欢功效较多的石榴，有人喜欢美丽的桃花，有人喜欢优雅的文竹，也有人喜欢华贵的牡丹。而我，更喜欢全身是宝的荷花。

每天放学，我都会经过一塘荷花池。远远望去，荷花就像莲花灯从圆盘中冒出来一样。走近一看，荷花的茎上还有一大排毛毛刺呢。

荷花的根深深地扎在泥土里，荷花的根是褐色的。荷花的茎又长又细，绿油油的。上面还有一大排毛刺，摸上去感觉毛毛的，痒痒的。荷花的叶子也是又大又圆，就像一个个碧绿的大圆盘。荷花的花瓣是毛笔尖形的荷花，有的才展开两、三片花瓣；有的花瓣全展开了，露出嫩黄的小莲蓬，小莲蓬摸上去硬硬的；有的还是花骨朵，看起来饱满的马上要破裂似的。

荷花的味道很香，一阵风吹过，荷花的味道就像仙女一样翩翩起舞，散发到了每一个角落。荷花的果实是可以吃的，莲子也可以用药，叶子还可以泡茶，荷花真是全身都是宝。

荷花就是这样，默默无闻的奉献着自己，把自己的一生都奉献给了我们，所以我喜欢那美丽无暇，有美好品质的荷花。

we often focus on building relationships with others that we forget the essential first step: being friends of ourselves. that is the crucial first step if we are to have good relationships with others. how can we have good relationships with others if we dont even have good relationship with ourselves?

the problem might be worse than we expect. maybe we dont like ourselves without realizing it. here is a simple checklist; is there anything you dont like about yourself from these list?

your past

maybe you have made mistakes in the past which you feel bad about. you might be disappointed with yourself on why you could make such mistakes. even if that happened in distant past, your subconscious mind still has a reason not to like yourself.

your background

you might wish that you were born in different family, or that you have different background. maybe you could not accept the fact that you are not as lucky as others, who seem to get whatever they want effortlessly because of their background.

your personality traits

you might have some personality traits that you dont like. for example, you may be an introvert and you dont like it; you wish you are an extrovert.

My favourite song is a popular song ,its name is Heal the world, Micheal Jackson sang this song.Meanwhile , this song was produced by Micheal.The song is about our worse and worse environment and the cons people on protecting earth..For example from the song ,’heal the world ,make it a better place, for you and for me and the entire human race’I like this lyric very much.I like this song because its melody and content .By this song ,we can realize what about our earth and how we can do in the future.
