Most of them came from Sichuan and they were chatting with a happy voice， but I can’t understand them! Again， I felt myself isolated! I hated that kind of feeling， and then I said to hello to them! To my surprise they are very friendly to me and warm-hearted! I no longer felt afraid. And I got along well with them. But at the first night here， I burst out to tears for that I was missing my family. I don’t know why. Everyday when I was at home， I was just eager to go to school， to experience the wonderful college life but when coming here， I am just eager to go back! Just spending about 2 days here， we were on our way to military train. To us， it’s a fresh train and a kind of experience to know the life between the classmates. But to me， I was nervous but excited. This was my first and precious train life because before going to school I have been staying with my family. The train life is impressive on everybody; we had a lot of activities， for example giving a speech on a stage or singing together or playing basketball. Military training can cultivate students with strong will. Most students live with their parents before they come to school and with the parents’ protection, they don’t have much life experience. Military training is hard and during the training, students can stand the hard time, so they can get used to the life coming to them.

军训能够培养学生们坚强的意志。大部分学生在来到学校前都是和父母住在一起，受到父母的保护，他们没有太多的生活经验。军训是苦的，在这期间，学生能够忍受艰难的时光，因此他们能适应即将到来的校园生活。

The military training can teach the students to obey the rules. It is known to all that soldiers’ duty is to obey the order, so students will have the sense of obeying the rules. When they come to study, they know what they should do and what they should refuse.

军训能教会学生遵守规则。众所周知，军人的任务就是服从命令，因此学生就会有服从规则的意识。当他们在学习的时候，就会知道什么该做，什么该拒绝。

There is no doubt that military training is very important, though it is hard, it will do good to students.

My new college life is going to start, so I cannot help feeling excited. How many times I have dreamed my beautiful and meaningful university life!

When my new life begins, I think the first thing I should do is to focus on my study. I will try my best to learn as many subjects as possible. Besides, I think I will take part in some school activities to improve my comprehensive ability, such as communication ability and so on. At the same time, I am supposed to join some student unions or clubs to make my life colorful.

I know there are many differences between high schools and universities, so I will change my study habits. In high schools, it is the times of teachers forcing students to study, but in universities, we should arrange all the things by ourselves, so I will study by myself. I will make study plans such as time schedule or something like that by myself.

Of course, I will practice myself to be more independent. Independence is a rather curtail ability for future development, so if there are any problems, I will do my best to solve it personally, and wont ask someone at first as before.

The summer holiday is going to the end. I am happy in the holiday, because

I do a lot of things. Now, the new term is coming, so I must make a plan for it.

In the new term, I must work harder. I did not do very well in the last term.

Therefore, I want to make progress in the new term. Besides, I want to do some

more readings. Books are the best resources to get knowledge. So I want to make

good use of books to improve myself. Finally, do exercise regularly. A healthy

body is the basic of other things. I must take part in exercise to keep healthy.

And doing exercise makes me relaxed and happy. I hope all my plans can come true

in the new term.
