And then I came to my dormitory 303. I considered that I would spend four years here (in fact I moved to another one year later) and my dorm mates are all there. Most of them came from Sichuan and they were chatting with a happy voice, but I can’t understand them! Again, I felt myself isolated! I hated that kind of feeling, and then I said to hello to them! To my surprise they are very friendly to me and warm-hearted! I no longer felt afraid. And I got along well with them. But at the first night here, I burst out to tears for that I was missing my family. I don’t know why. Everyday when I was at home, I was just eager to go to school, to experience the wonderful college life but when coming here, I am just eager to go back! It’s quite strange though, you must know this kind of feeling!

Just spending about 2 days here, we were on our way to military train. To us, it’s a fresh train and a kind of experience to know the life between the classmates. But to me, I was nervous but excited. This was my first and precious train life because before going to school I have been staying with my family. So, you know, it’s just this kind of feeling I can’t convey it clearly! The train life is impressive on everybody; we had a lot of activities, for example giving a speech on a stage or singing together or playing basketball. At that time, I felt myself so little among them. All of them have a special talent but not me. I admired them but meanwhile jealousy. Why don’t I have this kind of talent? Am I stupid? I always said to myself. So that time I was also very ambitious, just eager to catch up with them. Except the classmates, the trainer in our team also left a deep impression on me! He was not very handsome and very kind. Just because of his kindness results in my laughter when training. He always said to me that I should be serious in the team but I didn’t listen to him. So after a long time, when investigating the training result, I gave them a disappointing answer. The highest trainer sent me to clean the toilet, although, it didn’t means insulting to my dignity, but I was really sad about myself and my heart was hurt. That was a small thing but told me that I need to be serious to one thing. And unhappiness passed, the happy and funny time recalled me that folding the blanket. Yeah, it’s really very funny. Most of us had never folded the blanket and naturally we can’t accomplish the task well. When the monitor came, we pleased him to help us to fold the blanket. To our expect, we managed to persuade the monitor. After the monitor finished the task for me. I dared not to touch the blanket again and just used the clothes instead of the blanket. Of course, I felt very cold in deep night, so to my instinct, I crashed into my classmate’s blanket. And we were scratching the single blanket fiercely, just like a war. How to adapt youself to college life

There are obvious differences between high school life and college life. First,college students will live in the dormitory with classmates who come from various places, and who may have different living habits. Second,college teachers ,instead of explaning in detail how to solve every problem, might only tell different approaches to the problem, and leave students to study and solve problems independently. Finally, in college,there is more free time for students to spend on.

However how should the college freshman adapt himself to these differeces. First of all, he should learn to be tolerant and consider more for others,which is necessary for group living. Moreover he should take active part in collective activities and make more communication with classmates and teachers. It will help he be smoothly integrated with your new environment. When I was in high school, go to college ismy dream. Now I realize my dream. excited as I am, the first time I see my college.

My college is inside the biggest university of Guangxi so that everytime I have to across a big campus to go out. At first Iam upset about that, but later on I get used to it. My college looks modernization in general. When I arrive at the school gate, the first thing is the boys’ dormitory and then is the playground. Look up! I see the canteen. I see the girls’ dormitory turn left. But where is my classroom? I look around but can’t find it. It turns out that it is separated by burrows. It’s strange,right? While I go across the burrow, I see another two big playgrounds and a tenniscourt at my left side. What is in my right side? Turn right, I see rows of teaching building connecting with the library. This is my college. I like it notonly because of the evironment but also the people there.

These days I have beenleisure but bored after finishing the final exam. My past university

I want to talk about my past university—Shan Xi Da Tong University. It not only provided me learning environment, but also provided me social practice platform. That is to say, I am not only acquired basic knowledge but also learnt how to get along well with others in four years’ university life .I missed these places mostly, library, student union and my dormitory. I used to study in library because it’s learning environment is very good and it has many kinds of books, but seats are limited; I took part in the student union when I was a freshman. I made more friends and actived in many extracurricular activities in union, but it often took a lot of time; I like my dormitory best. I shared my happiness and sorrows with my room-mates and I relaxed myself sufficiently in it. But the condition of my dormitory is poor. Above all, University is my unforgettable place. I spent most of my extra-study time in library. Generally speaking, It is a good study place. Firstly, the atmosphere of study is strong, but sometimes someone would receive and make calls, which would impact others’ study. If it can provide a few of fountains, the library would be perfect. Secondly, it has abundant of professional books, thus I can access to needed information timely when I encountered problems in study.

Besides, there are also all kinds of magazine, so I can relax myself and expand my vision when I was tired of studying. But the limited time of borrowed books is short. Last but not least, the seats are limited, which disturbed me very much. I had to go to the library line up very early just for seat. But the desks and chairs are big enough, which gave me much space to think and study and reduced the impact between students. The desks and chairs are tidy and comfortable. All in all, I like our library very much.

I took part in the student union when I was a freshman. I made many friends in union. I exchanged my idea with others. I enhanced my ability to communicate with others, but I fed up with some students in union because I don’t like their character; I took part in many activities in union, which enhanced my practice skills and accumulated a lot of social experience, but it occasionally made me embarrassed in activities; It took me a lot of time in union, which influenced my study. But at the same time, I eiched my college life and made full use of my spare time. All in all, I think it is worthy to join in the union.

I missed my dormitory and my room-mates. The reasons as follows: Firstly, I shared my happinesses and sorrows with my room-mates.in dormitory we talked and sung loudly and we made on decision on something by absorbing everyone’s advice; but we inevitably had little contradictions sometimes. Secondly, I relaxed myself sufficiently. I shout

big sleep when I was tired of one day’ study to alleviated fatigue and I freely vented myself. But thanks to personal habits are different, we didn’t reach on agreement on something. Lastly, the most regrettable is that the condition of my dormitory is poor. The room is small and there is not bathroom; but I feel very warmly because it’s my another family. I missed my dormitory very much especially my room-mates.

Generally speaking, my college life is interesting and rewarding. I was not only learnt basic professional knowledge but also made many friends and enhanced my practical skills. The library provided me a good learning environment. The union gave me practice platform. The dormitory made me become a happiness girl. I missed my past university very much. a new year ,a new start, when i stand on the edge of the a new year, i cant help thinking about my plan of next year. just as the old saying:well began is the half of the success.so i decide that i should be at work while the others are still relaxing ,and then ,at the beginning ,im quicker than the others and of course i will get better result than the others. but ,what i really decide to do is that i must make good of anytime i can spare though it seems impossible. while, i will do my best to live up with what i have planned, and the result will prove it.

You may feel that college life is boring. We dont know how to deal with the plenty of spare time. But I think the college life will become wonderful as long as you make it meaningful.

In your spare time, you could play basketball, football and so on. Doing sports is very interesting and good for your health.

In fact, you can do anything which you are interested in.Do not be nervous.We are friends.

Studying in college is a brand new start of our life.You can continue to study hard for the better scords. Libary is a good place for students to study in. If you want to show your talents and skills you can join in all kinds of activities.

After entering college, we found, to our surprise, that differences between high school life and college life are great. In high school, we always depended on our parents and teachers to solve all kinds of difficult problems. At college, however, we have to rely exclusively on ourselves. Whats more, we have to learn how to get along with our classmates and roommates.

Four years at college is an important yet very short period of time in our life. So it is always expected that we adapt to this life as quickly as possible. But it is a pity that not everyone can do so immediately. Here are some suggestions.

First, get familiar with the main buildings on the campus. Spend one or two hours by yourself or with your classmates to go around the campus so that you can know the location of such important places as the library, the dining room, the post office, the clinic and classrooms. Next, try to be independent. Learn to do such things as making sound decisions on how to spend your time, how to spend your money etc, and washing clothes on your own. Furthermore, form good study habits. Talk with your classmates and learn from their good habits. Finally, try to take part in all kinds of activities to get out of your solitude and get on well with your classmates.

Summervacation this is a the students expect long-lost happy time simply

But we looked at those high expectations a less-pressured treasure mom has

arranged everything for us: early in the morning to go to remedial class noon to

classes every day and every day go to remedial classes in the afternoon. I every

day in ask him who invented the remedial class! Deprived of the time I watch TV

if let me know who it is I will regard that man as my enemy.

Perhaps the most vital person I have ever met is an Italian professor of philosophy who teaches at the University of Pisa.Although I last met this man eight years ago， I have not forgotten his special qualities.

First of all，I was impressed by his devotion to teaching. Because his lectures were always well-prepared and clearly delivered， students swarmed into his classroom. His followers appreciated the fact that he believed in what he taught and that he was intellectually stimulating.Furthermore， he could be counted on to explain his ideas in an imaginative way，introducing such aids to understanding as paintings， recordings，pieces of sculpture， and guest lecturers.

Once he even sang a song in class to illustrate a point. Second， I admired the fact that he would confer with students outside of the classroom or talk with them on the telephone. Drinking coffee in the snack bar， he would easily make friends with students. Sometimes he would challenge a student to a game of chess. At other times， he would join groups to discuss subjects ranging from astronomy to scuba diving. Many young people visited him in his office for academic advice； others came to his home for social evenings.

Finally，I was attracted by his lively wit. He believed that no class hour is a success unless the students and the professor share several chuckles and at least one loud laugh.Through his sense of humor， he made learning more enjoyable and more lasting.If it is true that life makes a wise man smile and a foolish man cry，then my friend is truly a wise man. Probably the best example of his wit is this bit of wisdom with which he once ended a lecture：“It is as dangerous for man to model himself upon his invention， the machine，as it would be for God to model Himself upon His invention.”
