清代乾隆年间莆田人廖必琦这样赞美家乡的荔枝：“谁把芳名挂齿牙，方红陈紫总堪垮，林间玉酝滋甘露，尘外仙罗散彩霞。厚味由来高两粤，异香此际压三巴，莆中尤是闽中最，乌石山前有几家。”此外，在荔乡莆田，据廖必琦记载，在他祖先庄园里曾发现奇特的品种，肉呈绿色而味甘。廖又咏诗赞曰：“有宋芳名何可当，吾家荔枝自成庄，君谟此日如增谱，记取新诗入锦囊。”诗中叹惜蔡襄（字君谟）当时作《荔枝谱》时没有记载这个品种。

荔枝树有着极强的生命力，能活数百甚至上千年，福建各地至今还保存不少历尽沧桑的古荔枝，其中最为著名的当数莆田城内宋氏宗祠庭院中的“宋家香”，距今已有一千多年的历史，依然年年结果，核小肉厚，蒂实皆香。

莆田荔枝始于唐代，其味香甜、醮核率高，具有止渴、滋补功效。宋代蔡襄曾写下世界上第一本《荔枝谱》，称兴化荔最为奇特。后来，荔枝树又被莆田定为市树。郭沫若先生六十年代初在莆田考察时，曾题下“荔城无处不荔枝”的诗句，盛赞莆田荔枝。

莆田荔枝，色香味俱全，自古以来，就博得人们的喜爱。曹学全《荔枝歌》云：“海内如推百果王，鲜食荔枝终第一”。莆田也称“荔城”，素以品种多、产量高、质量优而闻名。像“陈紫”、“宋家香”、“状元红”都是本地的优良品种。其中“陈紫”更是荔中绝品，成熟时散发出阵阵幽香，沁人心脾。本世纪初，它还远涉重洋，传入美国南部各州及古巴等国。

荔枝还可加工成荔枝干、荔枝罐头、荔枝蜜饯、荔枝酒等，并可入药。据《本草纲目》介绍，它的果实“能止渴，益人颜色……通种、益智、健气”；壳能治“痘疮出发不爽快……又解荔枝热”；核能治“脾痛不止，妇人血气，疝气颓肿，阴肾肿痛，肾肿如斗”；花和皮根能治“喉痹肿痛”。壳和根还可提取栲胶；木质坚实，可作家具。人誉之满身皆宝，并非虚传。莆田民间还有这样传说，大暑这一天吃荔枝，营养价值和吃人参一样高。

My mother forty years ago, the years of the wind and frost in her face carved a deep road wrinkles. Mother is a national cadre. Brother and sister six, grandfather is not wealthy, she did not go to high school, seventeen years old in the county a factory in the workers. Mother work very well, many times was rated as a model worker.

While working, while learning, she also passed the adult self-examination. Later, my mother was honored to be recruited as an official cadre. Mother from small body weakness, has been sick, life is very hard. At that time, my father in the township when the leadership, work very busy, poor traffic conditions, away from home and far. My mother to take care of her sister to primary school, but also to help grandparents and grandfather care for some housework, their work and can not escape the body.

It is said that Chengdu is a city which if you come you cant leave.It has a long history.there stands Du Fus thatched cottage ,The Temple of Zhugeliang and some other place of historical interest.They are all so famous that many foreign tourists like to come here.Chengdu also has a comfortable weather for people who live in there.Even though in the winter it is still warmer than any other cities in China.Besides,as Chengdu people are fond of eating,they have created many delicious food such as hot pan,Three Big guns,and some others.

I love weekend, because I can do many things. I can read books, watch TV

and play some games……

OnMonday, I went to school by bike and played computer games.

After nine o’clock, I went to zoo with my parents and saw lots of

animals.

On Wednesday, I went to Cheng gu visited my cousins and my uncle. On

Thursday, I went to library read books.

Friday is my favourite day, I was very happy! Because I saw a film with my

best friend, Webought many books.

On Saturday, I listened to music and watched TV. Today is Sunday, I don’t

like this day, because tomorrow I will go to school.
