The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the two most important holidays in the Chinese calendar (the other being the Chinese Lunar New Year), and is a legal holiday in several countries. Farmers celebrate the end of the summer harvesting season on this date.Traditionally, on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and eat moon cakes and pomeloes together. It is also common to have barbecues outside under the moon, and to put pomelo rinds on ones head. Brightly lit lanterns are often carried around by children.

Together with the celebration, there appear some special customs in different parts of the country, such as burning incense, planting Mid-Autumn trees, lighting lanterns on towers, and fire dragon dances. Shops selling mooncakes, before the festival, often display pictures of Change, floating to the moon.

Mooncake is often eaten during the festival.Typical mooncakes are round or rectangular pastries, measuring about 10 cm in diameter and 4-5 cm thick. A thick pasty filling is surrounded by a relatively thin (2-3 mm) crust and may contain yolks from salted duck eggs. Mooncakes are rich, heavy, and dense compared with most Western cakes and pastries. They are usually eaten in small wedges accompanied by Chinese tea.

I study in the No. I middle school, where there are three grades and thirty-two classes. It is not big but very beautiful.

Today is my birthday and Im so excited about it.In the morning I put a note on the table for my mum and it said,Today is my birthday,dont forget it!At school,I got many gifts and cards for my classmates and had a lot of fun.But I was still expecting the birthday party after school.

When it was time to leave school I couldnt wait to go home.When I open the door,there wasnt anybody in the house.There was only a note that said,Coming home late tonight,mum and dad.I try to call them but there was no answer.I was so shocked,do they forget my birthday?How could this be!I was so sad that I couldnt eat anything.I just did my homework and waited for them.

And then,things changed completely.It was about time for dinner,my mother called and told me to go to the restanrant near our house.When I got there I couldnt believed my eyes.Everybody was there:my parents,my relatives,my friends and even my classmates.There was so many gifts and a big cake.What a surprising birthday party!We had a good time and it was the best birthday party ever.

It is a celebrating day. I got in touch with Michael whom I have been losing contact for one year.

It is really magic. I was searching online aimlessly yesterday when an idea struck me suddenly: since Ben can find out my secret by keying in my name in the search engines, why can’t I do so, either?

I intended to find out something about Ben in revenge in the first place, but soon extend my name list to a wider category. It was then that I recalled Michael suddenly.

We have lost contact since our last correspondence in my senior 3. He mentioned to me in his last letter that he was preparing for going to UK to further his education. I, shamefully, was too busy to reply his mail then. When I was recommended to ZJU and won the final freedom, I thought he had already been in UK so I had no idea where to write him.

I used to think that we would never meet again. However, when I browsed the entries about him, I found out excitedly that he is still in P.R.C.!!

Without a moment hesitation, I ran upstairs to my dorm and found out my old address book. Thank goodness, his home no was still there.

After 3 times calling with no answer replies, I eventually got him on the phone. He was more surprised than I could imagine that when I asked for his hp no he was too nervous to remember it. :P Hehe.

Life is enjoyable in moments such like this. Old friends meet again surprisingly, on a road of their own ways to their dreams. they look at the face of each other, and recognize the old pal. It is such moment that makes me feel grateful to life: whenever I set off for a new destination, I see I have friends in the same direction, with whom I won’t feel alone any more.

We know the Internet is playing a more and more important part in our daily life. On the Internet, we can get as much information as we can. We can send e-mails to our friends and talk to them as well. Besides, on the Internet we can read books, enjoy music and watch ball games. We can also do

shopping without leaving our homes. But many students spend too much time playing Internet games. They waste a lot of time.

My summer camp life is really colorful!

今年暑假一开始妈妈就给我报名参加了雨艺夏令营。这个夏令营不像我想象的那样带我们出去玩，而是以学习为主的。在夏令营里有来自各个学校的同学，有低年级的也有高年级的。

每天爸爸妈妈7点半就把我送去了，直到下班才能来接我。在夏令营里我们可以把暑假作业做好，而且老师还会帮我们检查。有时候我们做游戏;有时候我们学习;还有的时候我们做手工;每天我们过得很丰富。

在夏令营里我还认识了新的朋友。我们很喜欢在一起玩，我们还交换了自己很喜欢的玩具。

时间过得很快，我们的夏令营也结束了。在结束前我们在老师的带领下举办了一个很隆重的联欢会，邀请了家长们参加。我也参加了好几个节目，我在童话剧《白雪公主》里演了白马王子，虽然只有几句台词不过那可是要说英语的。我才不紧张呢，我可是雨花外国语小学的学生。我还和同学和说了相声《大拇指和食指》还得到了一致好评呢。

我的夏令营生活真是五彩缤纷啊!

Of all the subjects, I like Chinese best because I have a good Chinese teacher. Though she has been teaching us for only three years, I respect and love her very much.

My Chinese teacher is thirty-six years old and she is neither tall nor short.

平安夜(silent Night)，又称圣诞夜(Christmas Eve)，即圣诞前夕(12月24日)，在大部份基督教社会是圣诞节日庆祝节日之一。圣诞夜传统上是摆设圣诞树的日子，但随着圣诞节的庆祝活动提早开始进行，例如美国在感恩节后，不少圣诞树早在圣诞节前数星期已被摆设。

由来

传说耶稣诞生的晚上，在旷野看守羊群的牧羊人，突然听见天上传来了声音，告诉他们耶稣降生的消息。根据《圣经》记载，耶稣来到人间，是要作人世间的王，因此天使便透过这些牧羊人把消息传给的人。

后来，人们就仿效天使，在平安夜的晚上，到处传讲耶稣降生的消息。直至今日，就演变成报佳音这个活动。

传统庆祝

基督教

平安夜基督教会中，平安夜这天，每家按传统都要摆放一棵圣诞树。当晚，全家人团聚在客厅中，围在圣诞树旁唱圣诞歌曲，互相交换礼物，彼此分享生活中的喜怒哀乐，表达内心的祝福和爱，并祈求来年的幸福。

还有不少基督徒会在平安夜参与子夜弥撒或聚会，通常在世界各地的教堂内举行，以表示圣诞日的开始。

天主教

天主教的圣诞期在平安夜开始。除非当日是星期日(参看待降节)，守夜的聚会据说是在12月24日早上。然而，在午夜前参加圣诞节的聚会是不被允许的。圣诞季节继续直至1月4日，如当日是星期六，则至1月5日，当主显节(显现日)庆祝时。

其他教会

一些教会则会在晚上较早时间举行烛光崇拜，通常会有耶稣降生故事的话剧表演，亦会享用大餐，一般会有火鸡或火腿作为主菜。德国的传统菜色则是烧鲤鱼。

各地庆祝方式

基督教文化圈

平安夜平安夜亦被认为是圣诞老人及其他地区类似人物，四处向儿童派礼物的时间。在意大利，礼物在平安夜当日早上已开启，而在英国、爱尔兰、瑞典、丹麦、挪威、芬兰、葡萄牙及波兰，圣诞礼物通常在平安夜晚上，或圣诞日早上开启。在德国大部份地区，圣诞礼物则在平安夜晚上(德语：Bescherung)开启。在冰岛，圣诞节在平安夜下午6时开始。教堂钟声会被敲响，人们会与家人一起享用节日晚餐，之后便会拆礼物，一起渡过晚上。在北美洲，大部分家庭会在圣诞日早上拆礼物。对于已离婚的家庭，孩子可能分开两日，与父亲或母亲其中一方庆祝。在西班牙，礼物则要到1月6日显现日(Día de reyes)早上才会被拆。不少传统圣诞故事都在平安夜晚上发生。

非基督教文化圈

日本

在日本，大多数人都信奉传统的神道教以及佛教，圣诞节的宗教气息淡薄，一般人鲜少注意圣诞节或平安夜的宗教意义。大多是年轻人受到商业炒作的影响，将圣诞节等同于礼物交换、狂欢节或是情人节的延伸。年轻人开派对，情侣往往在圣诞夜约会、吃大餐，造成餐厅与旅馆人潮，远多于教堂的现象。

香港和澳门

平安夜中国也非传统基督教国家，然而，香港及澳门在殖民时期分别受到英国及葡萄牙的影响。平安夜是年轻人、小孩子以至所有人都会庆祝的日子。数以十万计的香港市民会到尖东欣赏圣诞灯饰，及到酒店吃自助餐;不少人会在平安夜交换礼物。年轻情侣则会到尖沙咀欣赏圣诞灯饰，开圣诞派对，或到兰桂坊等地狂欢;基督教及天主教徒则会参加报佳音等宗教聚会。

台湾

在台湾，原本只有占人口少数的基督徒以传统方式庆祝，然而近年受到西方文化的刺激，以及日本节目、ACG文化的影响，在年轻人之间兴起了过平安夜的风潮，庆祝的方式除了移植自日本及美国之外，许多地方还会举办圣诞狂欢舞会。

我大步流星地走上前去，得意地攀上石堆，披上旧报纸“披风”，头上插着一对狗尾巴草，学着大侠的样子仰天长啸了一阵。这时我仿佛感到我就是个盖世无双，所向无敌的大侠！我做出超人的pose，大喊一声：“本大侠要飞起来喽！”话音未落，我便纵身一跃，“飞”了下去。

虽然当时的天气并不寒冷，但我还是清晰地感到一股凉风掠过我的指间，我的头发也被风撩乱了。惊魂未定的我正准备用漂亮的着地姿势弥补我表情上的“不协调”，忽然“趴”的一声，只觉得脸上火辣辣的疼——我坠落在了地上，还摔了个“嘴啃泥”。我从泥堆里爬起来，拍了拍满身的灰土，勉强地对大家说：“不好意思，献丑啦！”

“何依然!吃晚饭了！”呀！这是爷爷的声音！哇，这下可惨了！爷爷看到我浑身是土的样子，哭笑不得：“你怎么变成这个样子啦？快回家去！”我一脸懊丧地被爷爷“拖”了回去。临走时，我还不忘朝小伙伴们拱手作揖：“哇……本大侠要走啦！后会有期！！！”

多年以后，尽管那片“比武台”已经成为一片停车场，可我仰望那曾经有过我们欢笑的那一角蔚蓝的天空，仍会回忆起我童年时的零星记忆。我想，它们也许不会因为时光的流逝和地域的改变而随风散去吧！想当年我们手牵手数星星、跳皮筋的日子，是那样熟悉，又有些模糊。我闭上眼睛，生怕这些记忆消逝在三月的阳光中。童年重临于我的心头。

My Attitude towards Life

Life is an endless voyage, as theres no destination in our life. Life is also very fickle, since anything may happen in our life. We may be successful or defeated at any time.

Sometimes, I have the feeling that I was successful, but that happiest time has already passed away. Sometimes, I feel as if I went to the end of my life, but after a long tour, I find I have a long way to go. I always miss myself in this endless road and I feel very lonely. But in this loneliness, theres nothing to fear. So I have learned to grow up. I have learned to hold back my tears. I have learned to smile to others.

Im not defeated. However hard the situation is, I will never give up! However hard the situation is, I will never say I cant! However hard the situation is, I will never stop running! Never!

生活是一段漫长的旅程，因为我们的生活是没有目的地的。生活也很善变，因为在我们的生活中任何事情都有可能发生。我们随时都可能成功或失败。

我这个学期的学习成绩不太好，考的分数太低了。一般在70-90之间，不过比在六年级的时候好了很多。从开学以来我认识了我原来不认识的新同学。人缘也很好，同时我也知道了怎样学习，上课认真听讲，不做小动作，不会的题尽量找老师问。我有个不好的习惯就是马虎，我一定把这个毛病改正。我和遵守纪律，自习课不说话，按时完成老师布置的作业。

我在这个学期，表现并不理想。上七年级了，题难了，作业也多了 ，老实更加严格了，我们更要好好学习，往后的学习放在第一位，我这个学期交了许多好伙伴，我和他们玩的太高兴了，让人难以忘怀。我们的英语老师教的很好，让我爱上了学习。我非常感谢我的所有老师。

我这个学期总体上表现不错，但是我也曾违反过纪律，甚至有一两次，老师布置的作业也没有认真完成。但是、在老师的教导下，渐渐养成了一些好习惯。而且我在期中考试取得了较为理想的成绩。让我的父母为他们的辛苦感到一丝丝欣慰。可是，这仅仅是这个学期的一部分，我曾经不珍惜而浪费的时间都过去了，面度剩下的课程，我应该努力学习，把浪费的时间争取回来。下次考试考个更好的成绩。

“瑞雪兆丰年”，年年步步高

鼻梁上架着一副眼镜，标准的瓜子脸，仔细看看，嘴唇上方的小绒毛渐渐加密，这应该是进入青春期的标志吧。最让人喜欢的还是他那张只在我面前能说会道的嘴巴，一会儿“娘仔”，一会儿“母后”，叫得我心里甜滋滋的。瘦瘦的身板配上一米七二的身高，就构成了一个阳光又稳健的孩子——他，就是我家小儿——闫丰年。

丰年和姐姐瑞雪是一对双胞胎，仅仅差姐姐五分钟，就只好当弟弟了，这个弟弟当的是相当的郁闷——小时候还好，个头不及姐姐高，叫个姐姐还不觉得怎么“掉面子”，现在呢，个头比姐姐高了半头，还再叫姐姐，总觉得有些不自在。于是和我商量，说是前十年他叫瑞雪“姐姐”，再十年瑞雪叫他“哥哥”，后面的年份都只称呼名字，我看他那一本正经的样子，忍不住想逗逗他，于是便答应了，但要求是必须征得姐姐和爷爷奶奶的同意。这一来小儿可高兴了，先是苦苦恳求姐姐，姐姐不耐烦了，不吭声算是默许了；谁知到了爷爷奶奶那儿却行不通了：“谁大谁小天注定，怎么能说改就改！”在我们家爷爷奶奶是权威，这一下子算是彻底灭了儿子想当哥哥的雄心，又不愿意再叫姐姐，无奈之下给姐姐起了个别称“佛哥”，起初姐姐是不答应的，可他天天叫，时间一长姐姐也就很顺口地答应了，“佛哥”的名称就此正式成立。

年儿的生活趣事一箩筐，今天呢，咱们花开两朵，单表一枝，我想想说说他对待学习的态度。

从上小学一年级开始，他对待学习就非常认真，总不愿落在人后，但那个时候的他，还没有真正理解学习，没有真正把学习当做朋友，和学习牵手共进共退，是在他上初中以后。

进入初中一年级，在小学“玩”惯了的孩子陡然间增加了压力，也增加了更多的竞争对手。一个年级增至20个班，20个班里的每一个人都是他的竞争对手。也不知道他哪儿来的一种豪情，进入初中的第一天，他就对我说：“妈，我现在是入班是第三名，期中考试我就要成为班级第一！”那个时候，或许他认为班级第一就是最好的成绩吧。

于是，我看到平时爱玩爱闹的孩子沉稳了许多，开始把更多的精力放在了学习上，果然，期中考试时，他实现了自己的心愿，成为班级第一，继而在又一次考试时，成为年级第一。可是他这个时候却找到了自己的不足：“妈，我觉得我这是在死学，这种为了考试而学习的感觉让我很厌烦，我甚至找不到自己的方向了！”“那就不为考试而学习，不为名次而学习，就为喜欢而学，怎么样？”我疏导着他的心理压力，同时又调侃道：“我要一个征服学习的孩子，不要一个被学习征服的孩子！”

儿子的眼睛亮了。从此，他果真不再死学，晚自习到家，他开始摆弄钟表，拆了装，装了拆；他开始做实验，什么光路演示，什么电路等等，他的房间开始不让我打扫，否则他重要的实验用品就会被我当做垃圾给丢掉；他在做实验的过程中开始遇到一个又一个的问题，他就开始查阅资料书甚至是下学期的物理课本；后来，他干脆在百度贴吧建了自己的问题库，就是这样，他渴求的知识开始源源不断地进入他的领地，他不再把所有的精力都投到学习上，却在学习上收获满满：进入八年级以来，他三次考试都是班级第一，获得一等奖学金。

当我满怀欣慰地问他学习的诀窍的时候，他说：“我哪有什么诀窍啊，就是自己找到了适合自己的学习方法而已。对于副科的学习，我是学一课记一课，而主课呢，就是平时多做些练习，把同一题型的解题方法归纳总结一下罢了！”这小子，口气还不小，但我知道其中包含着他的用心。从他的身上，我明白一个道理：学习，贵在得法；“不做学习的奴隶，只做学习的主人”，就一定能提高学习成绩！

在学习上很优秀，是不是各个方面都优秀呢？非也。你若让他上街买东西，那是极不乐意的：一双鞋子都穿得破烂不堪了，让他去买一双，他却说还能穿，怎么也不要；你若让他记得帮你收衣服什么的，那准得忘记，他的理论就是“我的脑容量就那么大，如若让他生活琐事记得多，他正经事儿就记得少”；还有，他爱玩游戏，并且还能从游戏中总结出经验来，以至于他总向我夸口，他在游戏中是什么什么老大……

他的优点也好，缺点也罢，他都是我亲爱的儿子。我希望他“瑞雪兆丰年，年年步步高！”

People help with each other, it is the greatest thing in the world. We should give our love to people who need help.

It was a nice day. A blind person Ben walked with a walking stick. When he was walking down the street, a little boy tumbled because of banana skin. Maybe there is something wrong with his legs. So the little boy cried sat on the floor. Although Ben can’t see anything, he walked to the little boy. Ben wanted to help the boy. So Ben said,” Don’t cry. Let me help you.” The little boy was very happy. Ben carried the little boy on the back. The little boy help Ben, too. So they were very happy.

四、组织

在课题组领导具体组织下，高二年级10个班级全部明确任务，由各班语文老师负责具体组织实施。

五、方法

总的指导思想，规范与开放性相结合，规范与本班学生实际情况相结合，规范与创新相结合。

实施方法：

1.沙龙形式，师生探讨例作，在讨论中明白作文的要求及相关的写作理论；

2.先让几个班先做作文，形成“学生下水作文”，然后研究存在的问题，以利其余各班做好作文；

3.强调绿色作文，反对虚情假意的编造；注重情境下作文，达到“直抒性灵”的目的；

4.语言，结构，写作技巧等备有专项资料，用以指导学生训练，训练中既注重局部，更注重整体；

5.大力做好科学的评析工作，教师、学生都应写出评析体会备有实录，特别是解剖麻雀，务必得到一文的写作真谛；

6.班与班之间可以大范围交流，推出“作文之星”加以表扬，打破作文封闭界限，坚决走开放性的路子；

7.邀请文艺界名家来校讲学交流，使学生能够在实践基础上，得到一点“点化”、一点感悟，最终内化为自己的东西；

8.教师积极撰写下水作文，积极参与学生感兴趣的话题讨论，实践中把握写作规律以及学生思想动态；

9.开展各种评选活动，对外推荐佳作，激励小作者迎难而上，以一流的意识写好作文。

六、评估手段

1、组建评估小组，由备课组长任评委会负责人，统筹安排；学生作文按语言、结构、思想、创新等诸元逐项考核；

2、用各类征文竞赛、考场作文的成绩作为系列指标来衡量作文教学的优劣及学生整体水平。

I made a decision today. Becuase I often lose my confidence, I decide tell myself ‘go’ in front of mirror after getting up every day. I believe this will make me confident. Thus, I can do things I want bravely. Now, I will say, ‘Keep going’.

I went to three cities to play during last summer holidays. They are

Beijing, Dalian and HuHehot.

I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China.

It’s a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty

minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in

Beijing. It’s a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall, the Summer

Palace, the Palace Museum, the Beihai Park, the Space Museum, etc. I went to the

countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I

went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like

eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Don’t mithe Beijing Duck. It is

really nice.

Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I spent 5o minutes

on the plane. Dalian is near the sea. I smelled the salty taste in the air. The

roads are clean. There are lots of trees and flowers near the roads. There are

many esplanades and Japanese buildings. There are some fountains in one of the

esplanades. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see

the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I

lay on the beach to see the sky.Dalian is a very nice place to live.

Huhehot is in Inner Mongol. There are lots of large grasslands. The

grasslands are endless. The sky is bright blue. There were a lot of horses and

sheep. They were running or eating grass. I rode a horse on the graland. I

picked some colourful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a small

desert, it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing.

These trips helped me open my eyes. I enjoyed my day.

My sister is a lovely girl. She has a nice English Name, “Elsa”. She is very clever and pretty. She is eight years old so she is old enough to go to school. This year, she tells me that she is a student now.

One day, my aunt took her to my home. My aunt had something important to do and had no time to look after her, so she told me to take care of her. First, I played with her for a short time. I thought the game was boring, so I taught her some polite words, such as hello, please, sorry… She listened carefully. Suddenly, there was a person knocking on the door. Elsa went to the door to open it. Afterwards, she was polite to say, “Please come in.”
