Dear Mr. Wang,

Thank you for a rapid response to our invitation. Enclosed you will find an outline of events to take place during International Week here at the University of Montana. I will also list a number of possible speaking engagements so that you can choose those things in which you are most interested. As far as topics are concerned, the topics for classroom visits are generally determined by the professor, but most professors are very flexible. We have approximately thirty-five faculty members that teach courses in Asian Studies, ranging from language and culture to history and economics.

12 am - International Festival begins with a speech by the university president and an introduction of visiting dignitaries

1-5 pm - Opportunity to visit festival, interact with student performers, taste foods

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

Peer pressure means the influence given by a group of people around you,

such as, parents, friends, classmates, teachers and so on. Their influence will

affect your attitude, behavior, conception or decision. As every side has two

sides, this influence also has two sides. Let me explain my reasons.

For one thing, influence of peer pressure has positive effect. It depends

on the specific thing. Sometimes, the influence of pressure will promote me get

progress. For instance, my deskmate does well in one math exam, while I fall far

behind her. As we are deskmates, i can’t let others look down on me. So i will

take her as my good example to fight. And then next time, I can get a good mark

by my effort. Take my parents as another example, they like clean. They don’t

have the habit to throw rubbish at will. I won’t have this habit either living

with them.

For another, influence of peer pressure has negative effect. Sometimes the

influence will be bad. For example, if my friends ask me to skip class to watch

a basketball match with them, i go with them, even i don’t have that thought

before. And one of my friends has gone through a lot, he always try to convince

me that money is very important. As time passes, i may change my conception.

In summary, the influence of peer pressure has positive and negative sides.

We have to advocate the good side and avoid the negative. We have to be clear

about what is right and what is wrong and firm our position.

Summer vacation has arrived, and it is a happy holiday, but do you have a

plan for your summer vacation? Although the summer vacation can relax, but you

cant put myself too loose, but to continue to work hard for next semester!.

What can we do for ourselves during the summer vacation? There are lots and

lots. Much like stars countless, for example: in the summer school program

enrollment, swimming lessons, and family to go out to play with my classmates,

riding a bicycle to go for a ride...... Etc..

In the summer school program can add new knowledge, can also review the way

before the content of homework; swimming can enhance their ability of self-help,

also can cultivate interest, so he will not feel bored; and the family out can

choose to visit the places of historic interest and scenic beauty but also to

the scenic area, to enjoy the wonders of nature, which not only can to broaden

their horizons, also can make their own eye-opening; with the students about

riding together together, talk together, let oneself not sitting at home playing

到了晚上，我和爸爸到江滨堤园放烟花，放鞭炮。我们来到一片空地上，爸爸首先拿出“五彩游春”点燃它的引线，过了一会儿，只听见“嗖”的一声，五只彩色的蝴蝶立刻飞上了辽阔的天空，去寻找奇妙的大自然了。接着，爸爸又点燃“小鸟”烟花，“扑”的一声，小鸟冲破了笼子，飞了出去。刚放完烟花，就放大礼花了，它真美啊! 有的像弯弯的垂柳，有的像无数颗流星，有的像五光十色的花朵，还有的像天上的七仙女下凡来到人间似的，撒下朵朵神花，整个四会笼罩在欢乐之中。我正沉醉在放大礼花的情景中，另一边又开始放烟花，把大地照得如同白昼一样。多美呀!令我目不暇接。

开始放鞭炮，一串串鞭炮在人们手中点燃，声音真大，四处飞溅，仿佛要把每一个祝福送到千家万户，一阵阵爆竹声接连不断，噼里啪啦的，热闹非凡。

这热闹非凡的情景，令我想起了宋代王安石的《元日》:爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。千门万户瞳瞳日，总把新桃换旧符。

虽然春节在不知不觉中溜走了，但我永远也不会忘记。

two teams and the lose team would get some punishment. At last, my team lost,

My school is at Haimen Town. It is very big and beautiful. There are forty-three classes in it. When you come to our school, you can see the modern teaching building. After class you can borrow the books you want and also you can read them in the reading room at any time. Beside our classroom, there is a big playground. day of August. A few days before the festival, everyone in the family will help

On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away

from their homes will try to come back for the union. After dinner, people will

Today, I went to my old house. I lived in it two years ago. When I am at school, I often think of my old house because it made me happy in the past. My old house is very tidy but old. It has only one level and there are just two rooms in it. I slept with my mother and my father ever evening. My old house is between two high houses, so it looks very small but lovely. When I lived in my old house, I often played with my sister at the weekends. But now I can’t, so I feel a little sad. 在这次做题中，我知道了一个道理，无论做什么事，只要认真，你一定会克服眼前的困难，不会让他给大道，并且向更艰难的路走去。

When I was a little child, I had many dreams. I wanted to be rich, so that
