熊猫喜欢在平坦的地面上悠闲地散步，愉快地玩耍。有时抬头望望人们，有时却低着头，好像在寻找什么，又像在思索什么。当它高兴的时候，就在地上翻筋斗，像个大皮球在地上滚动。

熊猫睡觉时，腹部朝天。有时，它用前爪轻轻地拍着肚子，有时，它两腿一蹬，就翻了个身。我还以为它睡醒了，其实它还在睡。它睡醒了就翻身起来，用前爪揉了揉惺松的眼睛，好奇地望了望人们，迈着踌姗的步子走到栏杆的另一边坐下来，好像想清醒一下头脑似的。(小学生作文网)

大熊猫又名大猫熊，又叫食铁兽，为什么大猫熊，最后又叫大熊猫呢?原来在重庆北碚博物馆，曾经展出熊猫标本，说明牌上自左向右横写着“熊猫”两个字，可是当时的报刊横标题习惯是自右向左读，于是，记者们在报道中把“猫熊”报道为“熊猫”，“熊猫”一直被广为传播，说惯了，也很难纠正。科学家们定名大熊猫为“猫熊”，就是因为它的祖先跟熊的祖先相近，属于食肉目。

那大熊猫是猫吗?不是，它只是像猫，它也不是熊哦!大熊猫属于食肉目、熊科、大熊猫亚科和大熊猫属唯一的哺乳动物。大熊猫虽然是熊科动物，但是不是熊，因为它属于独立的属，所以不能把大熊猫归属于熊。至于猫更不可能了，因为猫属于猫科动物，与熊科一点关系也没有。

大熊猫主要栖息在四川，陕西和甘肃等地方，样子十分可爱。大熊猫的毛色是黑白相间的，它的两只像球的耳朵是黑色的，它的两个眼睛像戴了一副墨镜一样也是黑的，手和腿都是黑的，余下的都是白的，远远看去就像一个超大的足球。

大熊猫对吃很在行。它手拿竹子，嘴巴能轻松把竹子皮扯开，然后大口大口地尝着竹子的美味，一根又一根，半天功夫一堆竹子下肚。偶尔也会开“荤”吃点肉，吃一种叫“竹溜子”的老鼠。

大熊猫还有两大爱好。一是吃，一只体重100千克的成年大熊猫，每天要吃掉10到18千克的竹子。二是睡，吃了就要睡，每天要睡十小时左右，能吃能睡，所以这么憨态可掬。

大熊猫主要栖息在四川，陕西和甘肃等地方。

大熊猫虽然很可爱，可有时也很淘气，他经常跑下山，到居民的住宅中找些玩具，玩耍后就把它们弃置在山中。有些动物园中的大熊猫看见饲养员来了，会跑过去抱住他的两条腿，每走一步它们就像坐秋千一样，真的太搞笑了。

大熊猫虽然很淘气，但还是挡不住我们对它的爱，它不但是国宝还是“和平使者”，“快乐明星”，它为世界人民搭起来了友谊的桥梁。

大熊猫为什么又是国宝呢?因为大熊猫在地球上生活了至少八百万年，它对动物进化有极高的价值，它数量稀少，只有一千六百只啦，所以是国宝。

这就是我们喜爱的国宝，我们喜欢的同时也要保护它，让它健康快乐的生存下去。
