“离家三里远，别是一乡风。”我们祖国幅员辽阔，民族众多，每个地方过春节时都有自己别具特色的风俗习惯。比如说：老北京的春节大家放鞭炮，逛庙会;闽南的春节要吃各种各样的糕;但我们广州的春节又是另一种热闹!

从腊月初，家家户户就开始筹备年货，铺户也加紧上年货。超市里的春联、福字更是摆成一片红色的海洋，这么多数量的“红色物品”也只会在年末出现。

广州人有一句话叫：“年二十八，洗邋遢。”年二十八这天，小孩子们会跟着父母在家里大扫除，美其名曰“洗邋遢”。并要贴好春联和福字，准备过年。晚上，一部分广州人会用柚子叶来洗澡，让自己也“洗邋遢”。

岁除那天真热闹。很多人为了逛花市，一大早就起床去看花。无论你什么时候去逛花市，都会看到：有的人带着孩子赏花，其乐融融;有的人悠闲地漫步在花市中，脸上挂着灿烂的笑容。而广州人买花也是要看“意头”的，如广州人买猪笼草，因为猪笼草寓意“猪笼入水”，就是财源广进的意思。到了晚上，全家人会吃团圆饭。而吃的东西，也是有“意头”，如吃鱼，寓意“年年有鱼(余)”;吃鸡，寓意“大鸡(吉)大利”;吃生菜，寓意“生财”。这天晚上，大家都要“守岁”，只有很小的孩子才要睡觉。

年初一上午，大家都在家里休息。下午，小孩子们出去拜年。他们祝老人们“福如东海，寿比南山”，祝大人们“工作顺利，财源广进”，大人们听了会非常高兴，给那孩子递上一个红包。

在正月十五那天，广州人会吃汤圆，寓意“团圆”。

一眨眼，到了残灯末庙，学生该去上学，大人又去照常做事，春节在正月十六结束了。虽然春节结束了，但热闹的气氛却一直陪伴着大家。
