First I must say the campus life is really different from what I have experienced in high school.For instance,I used to lean upon my dormitory teacher to wake me up on time.But now I have to set several alarm clocks to make myself could hear them in the morning otherwise I would miss my class.And then even worse there would be nobody remind me

except my teacher!So the differences are everywhere and I could easily find them.The change of life is great and its wonderful:I have more time of my own and the rights to decide how I live.

My campus activities are rich and colorful.Learning English has become a habit to me cause I plan to study abroad in next few years.Playing Guzheng is my favorite activity.I have kept on practising it since I was a little girl and I wish to win more competitions in my campus life.

Our university has the first level equipments and the most experienced teachers,also has the best students(laugh).I consider it to be a honor that Ive got a chance to study here and I sincerely hope that we could live wonderful lives in our campus!

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

my summer vacation of this year was very enjoyable. i went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays. it is very beautiful there. there are green plants, clear rivers, lovely animals kind people. i spent two weeks helping my grandfather do some farm work there. i wrote down what happened in my diary every day.

besides that, I helped the children in the neighbour hood with their lessons. i helped them read english improve their spoken english. their parents thanked me for this.

Most people, even women themselves, believe that women in China have achieved equality. They think women now "have held up half the sky." They can take up almost all the professions once only occupied by men, and can even receive equal pay for equal work. On the job market, many companies and factories are unwilling to employ girl graduates because they dont want to spend time and money training them while taking the risk of their leaving to have children after they get married. When employment rate drops,women workers are usually the first to be laid off. In Shanghai,for example, many female workers merely over forty are forced to return home or retire. They account for nearly 90 percent of the people out of work. Even if they are allowed to continue to work until the legal age for retirement, their chances of promotion are much more slim than their male counterparts. Even in the government, despite its commitment to womens equality,women have progressed slowly in gaining access to political power. There is no woman among the seven members of the Standing Committee in the Political Bureau, no woman in the governmental ministerial positions. Doubts as to womens capability are deeply rooted in Chinese culture.To be honest, in my opinion, women are no less competent than men. But the double burden they have to carry inside and outside home renders it impossible for them to make full use of their knowledge and talents. Much of their energy is spent bandling the conflicting demands of career and family. Even if they hold leadership positions, they are still expected to do most of the household chores. This leaves them less time than men for their duties at work. Tortured by self-fulfillment and family responsibility, Chinese women are always taught to sacrifice themselves.

The picture of womens liberty is not quite that rosy. Paid maternity leave or few cases of female leadership mean nothing.The resistance to treat women as equals of men is profound and stubborn so that equality continues to be the long term goal of Chinese women.

Nowadays,with more and more serious problems such as the increasing global temperture,the melting ice and the rising sea-levering,people are recognizing the important of developing the low-carbon economic now.

As to my University life, I divide it into four parts, including study, student activities, library and the others.

Firstly, I want to talk about the study. In my opinion, study is the priority in University. When I received the letter of admission in summer, I knew clearly that what I should do. So I make up my mind to study hard and pursue learning as much as possible. I’m greatly convinced that knowledge can change my life. Therefore, I often go to the quiet study room where many people study there. By working so hard, I get good grades in the exams.

Secondly, student activities play an important role in our University life. To be honest, the student Union is a good place where one can develop social skills, get his abilities trained. I take part in many student activities. For example, I’ m a volunteer, teaching the kids to learn to dance and write. I think it’s meaningful for everyone to give a hand to others. I can also do some jobs in the Student Union, including receiving and sending fast mail, selling papers and magazines. I think they’re unforgettable and worthwhile experiences for me.

Thirdly, I also visit the library constantly. It’s said that “shelves of books, oceans of knowledge”, so I read books that I’m interested in. In short, my life in university is busy but valuable.
