爱国就是一个经久不衰的主题，但就是近来发生的毒奶粉、瘦肉精、毒馒头等食品安全在社会上造成了很坏的影响。我们想一想这些唯利就是图、诚信丧失的商家的行为，就是爱国和爱家的行为吗？如果大家在超市买到伪劣、变质食品，一定就是深恶痛绝之。那么，当大家看到了抄袭作业、考试舞弊者、犯了错误不承认者、只说空话不见行动者时，更要明白这就就是诚实缺失的行为。尽管这就是小事，可这样发展下去会就是怎样一个下场呢？三国时期蜀国的皇帝刘备曾对儿子说过一句话：“勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之”。他的儿子没有按照他的话去做，结果国破家亡，被囚在魏国，仍然乐不思蜀，希望广大同学能以此为戒，爱祖国就从身边的每一件小事做起。

其次，我们要继承民主的精神，做遵纪守法的公民。有同学一听民主就有精神了。因为民主就就是自由，自由就就是无拘无束。这样的民主生活，多么舒心、惬意啊！民主真的就是这样的吗？他个人所谓的“民主”影响了大多数人的权利。这样的民主完全就是一种个人自由主义。而真正的民主，就是代表最广大人民的根本利益，就是少数服从多数。绝不能把自己的快乐建立在他人的痛苦之上。民主就是一种制度，只有当我们都认真遵守制度时，才能充分的享受民主。试想，如果学校没有校纪校规，你能安心坐在教室里读书吗？如果社会没有法制，你能安心生活吗？遵守法规就就是享受民主，违反法规，就应该受到专制。

最后，我们要继承科学的精神。科学可以从两个方面来理解。一就是指科学的方法，二就是指科学的知识。两者就是相辅相成的，只有学会科学的知识，才能掌握科学的方法；掌握了科学的方法，才能掌握更多的科学知识。

总之，我们要继承和发扬五四传统，就要以爱国、民主、科学为我们的精神主流。做到自尊自爱、注重仪表；诚实守信、礼貌待人；遵规守纪、勤奋学习；勤劳俭仆、孝敬父母；严于律已、遵守公德。以此为行为规范，做到精神不空虚、信仰不动摇、道德不沦落。

我最喜欢的一项运动是骑马，我始终记得我第一次骑马的经历。

那是一匹高头大马，有着四条修长而有力的腿，一双大眼乌黑乌黑，闪烁着和善的光，那高昂的脖子，结实的脊背，无一告诉我们——它很强壮。那条银黄色的长尾巴让它显得格外阳光潇洒。它是褐色的，那整齐的鬃毛，让它更加威武。我试着想上马，可马鞍却比我还高。于是，我只好一脚踩蹬让妈妈托我一把，这才骑在马上。马上，我能感到马的体温，在马上放眼看草原，一切都生机勃勃，虽然此时的草原并不是春天，但又有哪个春天的花园能比得过此时草原的无边翠绿呢?

马儿被人牵着，开始慢悠悠地散起步来，四条修长的腿轮流地迈开，长长的尾巴轻轻地扫着我的脚，痒痒的，酥酥的，好不舒服哦!几只鸟儿在头上飞过，它们俯视着这翡翠般的大地，马儿，牛儿，羊儿悠然自得地在草原上散步，它们，才是这片乐土上的真正的主人。

正当我陶醉于此美景时，突然，马儿的速度加快了——它的脖微微往下压，但一双大眼依然炯炯有神地注视着前方，开始小跑起来，风在我的耳边呼呼吹过，我真想大喊一声，来表达我此时激动的心情，但又按捺住了那小鸟出笼的心情。我深深地吸了一口气，抬头看着那一碧如洗的蓝天……

马儿越跑越快，最后飞驰了起来，一种从来有过的心情在我心中形成了滔天巨浪，我兴奋地伏在马背上，在马耳边说道：“小宝贝儿，加油!”

马儿似乎明白了我的话，耳朵轻轻动了动，此时此刻，我的心已不知是醉，还是醒了……

这就是我最喜欢的运动——骑马，它给我带来了很多梦幻般的喜悦。
