My Beautiful Dream

Last night I had a beautiful dream. I had turned into an alien. I flew my

UFO in the sky. Suddenly I saw some people playing in a park. They were very

happy. I wanted to join them. So I landed in the park and got out of the UFO.

When the people saw me, they were scared. I said hello to them. But they didn t

understa-nd me. After a while, only a kid came to me and asked, "Who are you?"

"I am your friend. "The boy got happy. He moved to my UFO. "May I play with

you?" "Sure. You can play in the UFO with me. "When we got into the UFO, it

started to fly into the sky. Suddenly it fell to the ground. I was scared and

jumped up from the bed. Oh! It was a dream!

It was already late when we set out for the next town, fifteen miles away on the other side of the hills. It got dark soon; we drove fast along the narrow winding road that led to the hills. Wecouldntidentify any sign of the town marked on the map. Suddenly the car stopped. We had run out of petrol. Therefore, although we had little food with us, we decided to spend the night in the car.

Our meal finished very soon. I went to sleep at once. But my companion Bill who was a poor sleeper went for a walk up the hills. From the top of the hill he saw the lights of the town we were looking for. We unloaded all our luggage and pushed the car to the top of the hill at once. Then we went back to the luggage, loaded the car again and set off down the hill. We reached the town less than a quarter, and found a hotel quite easily.

Last autumn we took a trip to Qianshan by bus. It is about thirty miles from the city. We planned to put up in a hotel there in order to watch the sun rise the next morning.

As soon as we got there, we began to climb up the mountains. How great the sight is! We felt as if we had entered amother world full of beauty, peaeefulness and loveliness. There are hundreds of mountains, one after another. there are magnificent cliffs, one above another. We climbed up vigorously and breathed the fresh air greedily. As the sun was going down, we descended to a little hotel at the foot of the hill, where we had a big dinner, and then went to bed early so as to regain the energy ior the expedition next morning.

Before daybreak, we reached the peak of the highest mountain after a hard groping and climbing in the dark. Unaware of the cold wind, we stood motionlessly, with our eyes fixing at the hr end of the east. Suddenly thin ravs of red hue spread across the sky. As the redness deepened, some mysterious clouds moved across thc sky, dividing heaven from the earth. Just at this moment, up from the brightening far east rose the sun. It was so red and yet so tender that we could gaze at it with naked eyes. and a slight applause from us. the amazed spectators, rang through the peak. Up, up it rose, adding to itself strength and glory at every step. It dazzled with vigour, driving away darkness, cold, and misery from the earth, and bring light, warmth, and happiness to men.

We were completely amazed at the wonder and the greatness of nature. We jumped and shouted like innocent children and we bathed in the first rays of the sun with the peak till it was time for our return.

Calligraphy is the essence of Chinese culture, which has developed into a special high-level art apart from satisfying the needs of daily writing. Hello, everybody, my name is Xue Yinjie. I"m 12 years old. I study at Fenghuang Primary school. I"m in class 1 grade 6. I go to school at 7 o"clock every morning. We read English everyday. There are three lessons in the morning. We have lunch at 11 o"clock. After lunch, we have a rest. The lessons in the afternoon are much more interesting. If I were a teacher, I would not treat my students just as some know-nothing kids. This summer holiday, I had travelled to Hong Kong with many other students. We went to Hong Kong by plane. Hong Kong is very small, but there are many people living there.

In Hong Kong, all of the buildings are very tall. There are lots of shops there and you can go shopping until about 11:00 at night. In Hong Kong, things are very expensive, so we only bought a few souvenirs.

We went to lots of places, such as the Avenue of Stars and Ocean Park. I like Ocean Park best. The park is very big. Sitting in the cable car, you can see two hills, lots of different flowers and the sea. Some students were afraid of sitting in the cable car!

We stayed in the Shu Ren College. There are many big trees around it. We had meals in the restaurants, but I didnt like the food.

Hong Kong is very beautiful. I like Hong Kong and I hope to go there again some day.

True，you may encounter inconveniences if you travel individually，for instance，getting accommodations for the night and finding a place for meals. But nothing can be compared with the freedom which is vital to a person who takes a holiday trip mainly to escape from constraints of his routine life.

The Spring Festival is one of the most ceremonious traditional festival in China. Winter vacation every year I will celebrate the Spring Festival with her mom and dad grandpas grandmother. In my hometown, a few days before New Years eve people start working together. Every family will clean up, clean of the New Year. 新年来临时，我总会试穿新衣服，甚至连新鞋都要试一试，在镜子前转来转去，提前感受新年穿新衣的快乐滋味。时间一分一秒的溜走，我也在不经意间甜甜的睡着。一觉醒来，我就又长大一岁了。大年初一，我会早早的起床，吃了红枣、约上几个小伙伴一起去拜年。大人们穿着新衣也三五成群的行走在洋溢在节日的喜庆里，大家互相道一声“新年好”，我会收获很多的糖果，口袋塞得满满的，只能拎着零食袋，回家后，我会像凯旋的士兵一样把战利品上交给妈妈。

春节里，人们走亲访友、互致祝福。这一刻，大家彼此传递着亲情、友情、乡情。年年岁岁花相似，岁岁年年人不同。家乡的春节可真是丰富多彩，令人回味啊!
