Up, up it rose, adding to itself strength and glory at every step. It dazzled with vigour, driving away darkness, cold, and misery from the earth, and bring light, warmth, and happiness to men.

We were completely amazed at the wonder and the greatness of nature. We jumped and shouted like innocent children and we bathed in the first rays of the sun with the peak till it was time for our return.

Now, I am sixth grade student. After ten years later, I will be a college

graduate and apply for the first job in my life. I think I will be a teacher,

because it’s my dream. I will teach my students all I know.

Maybe I will meet some problems and challenges in my new job, but they

can’t beat me. Besides, I can earn money and support myself at that time.

Therefore, I can do a lot of things I like.

For example, I can travel in summer or winter vacation. Or I can go to see

a movie at weekends. It seems so wonderful.

Today is Sunday. After supper, father, mother and I went to the pardk. I sat on the back of father’s bike. After a while, father said, Girl, you should lose weight. Motheragreed with father. Last summer holiday, I took a trip to Yunnan. It is in the southern part of

our country .It is really a very beautiful place grand mountains, clean rivers

and kind people. Trees and flowers are seen everywhere. Every year there are

lots and lots of visitors.

Maybe you have heard about Shi Lin (stone forests). There are all kinds of

strange stones. Some of the small stones look like graceful girls; and the big

stones look like handsome men. Other stones look like cats, peafowls,

double-edged swords, mice, elephants and so on. Of all the stones, the stone

like a beautiful girl in a legend is the most famous .Its name is A Shima.

I also went to Li Jiang. The roads in that city are just like the Eight

Diagrams. Any road in the city goes to the center of Li Jiang. A river runs

through the whole city. If you go along the river, youll never get lost. There

are many ethnic minority people in Yunnan. They are very cordial. And they all

like singing and dancing. We danced with them around the campfire that night. I

really had a good time.

I like the elephants and fruits there best. An elephant is even taller than

me! I even mounted the elephant, though I was very afraid at first. But the

elephant seemed very friendly. I took some photos with it. The fruits there are

very fresh and delicious. They are very good for our health.

The trip to Yunnan impressed me greatly. I will never forget it.

Last week, my English teacher gave us a task, she asked us to form a small group, each group was made up of five students, the groups need to do a research, it is about how much people know about foreign country. In my group, there are three girls and two boys, at first, we did not know what to do, then I suggested our group take the cooperated work. As I and the girl are good at writing paper, so the two of us decided to design the questions, and the other three students are so active, so they like to ask people the questions. The large number of our population has become one of the most serious

problems of our society. According to a recent survey of the National Bureau of

Statistics, there are more than 1.3 billion people in our country, which account

Overpopulation has brought about a series of negative effects to our

economic development and social security. In the first place, too many people

Friends share happiness, which makes us delightful. For example, one of my

best classmates, Cloud, when she told me she got a good mark and was in the top

ten. Before I replied she said again, "Because you are my best friend, I want to

share the good news with you at the first time". Hearing that, I knew she was

happier after she told me. At that time we were two happy birds flying in the

sky. In a word, friends play with me in my spare time that let me feel needed.
