I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. Study has been an important part of our life. I study hard in school and

even I graduate, I still keep reading books. Reading books not only brings me

the knowledge, but also happiness. The knowledge I learn will be the greatest

treasure of my life.

The basic things I learn from books teach me the way to see the world. When

I was very small, I fell in love with reading. I read cartoon books, then I

learn more about the world. For example, I know more about sports and the

Hello, everybody, my name is Xue Yinjie. I"m 12 years old. I study at Fenghuang Primary school. I"m in class 1 grade 6. I go to school at 7 o"clock every morning. We read English everyday. When you need a lot of money, you first thing you do is to borrow money from your friend, while doing this sometimes may do harm to your friendship. First, your friends may not have too much money at hand, he or she maybe suffer from the lack of cash flow at that moment. I’m a dog lover, because dogs are tame, friendly and easy to communicate

with. I have kept one in my house, whose name is Chocolate. She is covered with

brown curly hair and looks like a Teddy Bear. Now we have been living together

for two years, so I’m very familiar with her characteristics. When she is

hungry, she often barks loudly. At that time, I begin to realize that it’s time

We couldn t believe that it was a village. The buildings for the farmers were very beautiful, the streets were very clean and there were many flowers in front of the houses. In the middle of the village there was a school with a wonderful building and a large playground. All the children in the village study there.

The farmers got richer by planting vegetables and raising silkworms. In their houses there were colour TV sets, fridges,washing machines, new furniture and even motorbikes. All these showed the farmers life was getting better and better.

When July comes, it is the hottest time of the whole summer. Many of my

friends have chosen to travel to the cool place, so as to avoid the stuffy air.

As for me, I dont like to travel in this hot weather. I just want to stay

indoors and enjoy the quiet moment. I like to sit near the window, watching

outside scenery. Sometimes I will read some books, enjoy the novel and make
