记叙文：要抓住记叙文的六要素：时间(when)、地点(where)、人物(who)、事件(what)、原因(w～)和过程(how)。即：五个“W”和一个“H”。根据图画提示把这六个问题写清楚了，至少可得及格分数。如2000年的全国高考题，时间：2000年2月8日清晨;地点：公园外的公园路上;A物;“我”、一个老头;事件;这个老头被一辆黄色小车撞倒，“我”把他送到了附近的医院;原因：司机害怕承担责任而逃走，过程：“我”当时正沿着公园路散步。

说明文：一般先要把图画联系起来，弄清楚图画的目的、意图;然后进行抽象概括，找出一个说明对象，接着根据图画从时间、过程、步骤等方面加以解释、说明;最后进行总结，得出结论。对事物进行说明时，一定要做到条理清楚，明了易懂。如20典型例题考英语试题，作者首先告诉对方已经为他找到了房间，接着介绍房间的情况，最后征求对方的意见。

2.确定人称。如果以日记、回忆录等形式来写，一般采用第一人称;如果是以讲故事的形式来写，则一般采用第三人称来写比较方便。但不管用哪种人称，全文都必须一致。

3.确定时态。根据图画内容及所采用的文章体裁，确定文章所要用的时态。切记全文时态的一致性。

4.发挥联想要合理、适度。这类文章的说明一般都要求考生作适当的联想和发挥，以便使上下文能更好地连贯起来。但联想和发挥一定要根据图画做到合情合理，不能过多地胡乱联想和发挥。如20典型例题考题，如果告诉对方：我几乎把城市找遍了，终于为你找到了一套房子。这样联想显然是可以的。然而，倘若你写成：我到东城区去找，那边的房子太贵;于是，我又到西城区去找，而那里正在建设之中，条件不太好;接着，我又到南城区去找，发现那里离新建的华文学校又太远了……像这样的联想和发挥就太夸张了。

5.虚实结合，详略得当。对于图画中的内容，该详细叙述、描写的，就必须要详细、具体;可以一笔带过的就一笔带过。也就是平常老师所讲的有时要泼墨如水，而有时又要惜墨如金。如图画中所有的时间、数字或言论需一词不漏地写清楚，而有些过程或原因则可适当简略。

The majority of people would agree that cigarette smoking has caused serious problems. But the tobacco companies insist that they contribute greatly to the world economy by paying taxes to the government and employing hundreds of workers.

Personally, I believe that cigarette production and consumption threatens to do more harm than good. Almost everyone knows that water covers three-fourths of the earths surface. Most of it， however， is in the oceans and is too salty to drink. Also， some of it is frozen and cannot be used. In fact， less than one percent is left for the use of people， animals and plant life. All through history men have tried to build their homes near the sources of fresh water. Now fresh water is becoming scarce， but more and more is needed because of the increasing number of people in the world. Some industries also use large amounts of fresh water in the production of things such as steel， petroleum， paper and rubber and so on. Scientists estimate that the need for fresh water will have doubled by the year 2003. If they are correct， we must find new ways of saving it or producing it. Some nations have worked on the problem and are already sharing their information with others. They are trying to keep their rivers from becoming polluted. Deep wells are also being dug， and rain water is being collected in huge artificial lakes. In one way or another， they hope to provide enough water to satisfy the needs of their people.

2.评分时，先根据文章的内容和语言初步确定其所属档次，然后以该档次的要求来衡量，确定或调整档次，最后给分。

3. 词数少于 80和多于120的，从总分中减去2分。

4. 评分时，应注意的主要内容为：内容要点、应用词汇和语法结构的数量和准确性、上下文的连贯性及语言的得体性。

5. 拼写与标点符号是语言准确性的一个方面，评分时，应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。英、美拼写汉词汇用法均可接受。

第二档：(15分~17分)。完全完成了试题规定的任务：覆盖了所有内容要点;运用的句式和词汇能满足要求;语法和用词基本准确;使用了简单的语句间连接成分，所写内容连贯。

第三档：(12分~14分)。基本完成了试题规定的任务：覆盖了内容要点;运用的句式和词汇基本满足任务要求;语法和用词方面有一些错误，但不影响理解。

第四档：(6分~11分)。未恰当完成试题规定的任务：漏掉或未描述清楚主要内容;所用句式和词汇有限;语法或用词方面的错误影响了对所写内容的理解。未能清楚地传达信息。

第五档：(1分~5分)。未完成试题规定的任务：明显遗漏主要内容;句式单调、词汇贫乏;语法错误较多 。

第六档：0分。未能传达任何信息;所写内容与要求无关。

三、书面表达应试要领

1. 第一步是仔细审题。重点注意内容要点，写作对象和交际目的。

2. 要写草稿，实在没时间也要写一个提纲。

3. 确定好时态。转述别人观点常用现在时。记叙经常发生的事用一般现在时，描写过去发生的事用过去时。

4. 不出现中文，不用汉语拼音。不生造中国式的英语。要用你听过的话来说，用你读过的句子来写。

5. 第一句很重要，不要轻易下笔。尾句部分容易出错，要留意。

6. 为防止遗漏内容要点，可在原题上标出记号。

7. 几个必要的连词一定要用，或顺接、或转折、或让步、或比较。

8. 写记叙文，注意六个要素：who, where, when, why, how and the result.

9. 议论文，注意论点与论据一致。还要注意是让你写一方观点还是介绍对立的两种观点。

It is reported that tourists to China’s Great Wall can now leave their mark on a fake wall recently built near the real wall in Badaling if they pay 999 yuan.

In China, many visitors have the hobby of carving graffiti on places of interest, especially on some famous cultural relics. Last year I went to the Great Wall and found many people had left names and ugly words on the Wall, which destroys many historic bricks. In my opinion, such people should feel ashamed of leaving their marks on the great relics which were created by our ancestors.

So personally I quite agree with this brilliant project though it has caused criticism from some people. The Great Wall would be ruined one day if we didn’t take any steps to protect it. The fake wall is a really good idea because it will protect our relics as well as making profits from the project.

Most of the tourist sites are part of our country’s historical relics, these sites are priceless, it is everyone’s duty to protect the sites. When we go to travel, we should behave ourselves. First, we need to have the idea that no rubbish being leaved behind when we leave the site. We should take away what we bring, keep the environment clean. Second, no any notes being written in the sites. Though in the old days, Chinese workers like to leave their names on the sites, but now it is a new world, we need to behave ourselves.
