尊重老师同样也是我们学生必须做到的行为，古人曰：“一日为师，终身为父。”可见教师在人们心中的地位。作为学生应从心里敬重老师，尊重老师的人格。还要尊重教师的劳动。要虚心接受老师批评，不可当场顶撞老师。教师的辛勤劳动体现在教学上，学生虚心学习，认真听好老师的每堂课，取得良好的学习成绩，这是对老师最大的尊重。9月10日是我国的教师节，老师给了我们理想的阳光和智慧的阳光，老师引导我们走上洒满阳光的人生之路。各位老师，请接受我们诚挚的祝福吧，教师节快乐!同学们，我们要时刻注意自己的言行，配合教师的工作，关心老师的生活，以一颗赤诚的心去理解老师，把老师作为我们最敬重的人。我想，如果每一位同学都能够加入到自律者这个行列中来，时时刻刻注意自己的行为规范，把自己培养成一个遵纪守法、热爱科学、热爱祖国、热爱人民、诚实守信、有责任心的好学生，就会发现身边的事物、环境都会有很大的不同。我认为，养成良好的日常行为规范是走向成功的基石!

Last week, I took part in an English speech contest which was held by our teachers. There were twelve students in the final contest. I was one of them.

Fifteen minutes before my turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines and organized what I was going to say. However, when I stood in front of all judges and students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty.

Then I took a deep breath to relax myself and started my speech. The result was not as good as I expected, but I preferred to regard it as a challenge to myself, whose process was the most important for me. I can learn a lot from this contest. I am sure I will be better next time.

Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is coming and my family is very busy. Its because Chinese New Year is very special and important. We must prepare many special things to get ready for this festival.

中国年马上就来了，我们全家人都沉浸在一片忙碌之中。这是因为中国的农历新年是非常的特殊与重要。我们必须为这个节日准备很多特殊的东西。

First, will make a big New Year meal.

首先，我们需要做很丰盛的一顿年夜饭！

尊敬的老师，亲爱的同学们，大家好!

我是七(1)班的xxx，我竞选的职务是学生会主席。因为我坚持：实力+自信=成功。绝对相信自己是我参加这次竞选的内在动力;进一步提高自己的能力是我的要求;有丰富的经验是我前进的力量;能够更好、更多地为全校师生服务是我的愿望，建立一个更加美好、更加规范的校园秩序是我的工作目标。学生会主席是学生会的核心。他不仅工作能力要强，更需要在为人处世方面落落大方。如果我当上了学生会主席，我会进一步地完善自己，锻炼自己的胆量和魄力。

An artist went to a beautiful part of the country and stayedwith a famer. Every day he went out drawing from morning to evening when the sun went down, he returned and a good dinner before he went to bed. When it was time for him to leave, he wanted to becaemeour pay the famer. But the famer said, no, I don’t want any money, but give me one of your pictures, what is money. In a week the money will all be spent, but the picture will still be here. The artist was very pleased and thanked the famer for saying such kind things about his pictures.

When I was six years old, I started school. Since I became a student, I have been studying very hard. My parents are quite proud of me.

Now, I study at Wucun Middle School, which is not only modern but also beautiful. The teachers in my school are so kind and hardworking that I love them very much. All the teachers regard us students as their own children. Also they are strict with us and strict in their work. I am getting along very well with my classmates. Whenever we have difficulties in our study, we help each other. I have many interests such as dancing, singing, reading books and playing sports, and I especially enjoy basketball, which makes me smarter and helps me learn faster and better. I have a beautiful hometown. It’s in Huzhou. There are many spaciality in my hometown: ginkgo and so on. My hometown’s economy is very good. There are many factory in my hometown and my hometown’s condition is nice. There are many garden in it and they are very beautiful and big. I am very pride of my hometown. I love my hometown. I will build hometown preferable.

The International Childrens Day (ICD) is celebrated in numerous countries, usually (but not always) on June 1 each year.

The ICD had its origin in the World Conference for the Wellbeing of Children in Geneva, Switzerland in 1925. It is not clear as to why June 1 was chosen as the ICD: one theory has it that the Chinese consul-general in San Francisco (USA) gathered a number of Chinese orphans to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in 1925, which happened to be on June 1 that year, and also coincided with the conference in Geneva.

June 1 has since been observed as the ICD by numerous countries, especially by Communist countries; in the Western world the ICD is usually celebrated on other days of the year (if at all)， and there is often little public awareness about these celebrations. (See the section on Germany below for further discussions.) Consequently there is sometimes a misperception that June 1 as the ICD was a Communist invention. Nonetheless, in recent years even some groups within the United States started observing the ICD on June 1.
