80年前，为了驱逐黑暗、争取光明，为了祖国的独立和富强，一群意气风发的青年用热血和生命谱写了一曲最壮丽的青春之歌，绘就了一幅最宏伟的青春图画。

如今，“五四”运动已作为光辉的一页载入了中华民族的史册。然而，“五四”绝不仅仅是一个历史事件，它是一种精神，表现出青年人对我们民族炽热的爱，对国家前途和命运的关注，表现着青年人的责任和使命。

今天，我们这一代青年人有幸生活在改革开放的大好时代，有幸站立在世纪和千年交汇点上。我们是幸运者。面对新世纪，我们责任重大。我们回顾发扬“五四”精神，认真思索着，自己应该拥有一个怎样的青春，怎样的人生。记得，最初开始认识“五四”是从小学的历史课开始的。那时，老师讲到“五四”运动，向我们讲述帝国主义列强对中国的种种欺凌，讲述青年们为祖国不惜献身的种种壮举。当时，我们虽然还不能完全理解其中的深刻道理，但有如一丝曙光照亮蒙昧的荒原，我们幼小的心田中已播下了爱国的种子。渐渐地，我们长大了，我们成为风华正茂的青年，我们更加深刻地懂得了五四的传统和精神。想想那些曾经与我们差不多大的五四青年吧!他们稚嫩的肩上早已承当起一份救亡图存的重任，而今天建设祖国的重任将别无选择地落在我们这一代人的肩上，我们是否应该为祖国的更加繁荣昌盛而奉献我们的一切?

是啊，我们不小了，我们不能永远停在父母宽大的羽翼下避风躲雨。今年的五月四日，我们将参加成人宣誓仪式。那意味着我们将要同父辈们一起，共同撑起一片蓝天。

长辈们常说我们这一代人是蜜罐里泡大的孩子，少些紧迫感，也少些责任感。的确，与他们相比，我们的生活更舒适，更安逸。但这决不意味着我们可以放松身上的努力，减轻肩上的责任。

人们每每谈到我们苏北老区总是感慨万分。苏北大地，是一片美丽而神奇的土地，我们盐阜地区也曾在中国革命史上留下过光辉的一页。戎马倥偬的年代，这一方热土，曾经为中国的革命付出了多么昂贵的代价。新中国成立后，这里的人们用自己的双手，凭着苏北人的勤劳和智慧，使自己的家乡发生了翻天覆地的变化。说起这一切，我们心中总是充满自豪。但是，我们也应该看到，这里与祖国的其他发达地区相比还有着很大的差距，这里个别地方的贫困还有待于进一步治理。这里的整体经济还有待进一步的腾飞。我们，作为苏北青年，首先应该感觉到的是什么?责任，感到的应该是责任。“生我是这片土地，养我是这片土地。”我们爱着脚下的这片热土。我们就要承担起建设家乡，繁荣家乡的责任。

在我的家乡，有一位与我的父亲同龄人。他就是全国闻名的身残志坚的农村科技铁人姜德明。他立足农田，孜孜不倦地研究着小麦、棉花如何在家乡的土地上能够有更高的总产量。当他的研究取得了初步成果时，癌症又一次地向他袭来。他没有倒下，拄着拐杖依然风里雨里地留在田头，走访在农户家中。不懈的努力，他培育出的优良品种得到了推广，种植技术得到了普及，粮食总产量大幅度提高，农民的双手欢迎这样的农技员。把他誉为“农技铁人”。他是我们老区青年的好榜样。去年，他在我市青年成人宣誓仪式上谆谆告诫我们，为老区经济的腾飞，要努力学习，掌握科学文化知识，立足本职，捧着一颗心来，不带半根草去!我们记住了这位铁人的话，我们意识到了自己的责任，我们盐阜老区的青年们都会努力的。

是的，责任放在我们每个青年的肩上，放眼新世纪，振兴中华，建设家乡，我们是不会退缩的。

In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

前不久已经选定了第五届东莞道德模范，各个英雄和他们的先进事迹都让人赞不绝口：助人为乐的黄丹先生考察贫困山区，“一对一”先后资助了六名学生，目前仍在资助两名学生;见义勇为的李金林先生见人掉入江中，二话不说直接跳入江里救人;石碣“最美老太”叶金莲照顾脑瘫弃儿31年，含辛茹苦，不离不弃……其实，好人、英雄并非总出现在报纸上，我们身边还有很多像他们这样的好人、英雄。

去年中秋，我和朋友出去玩。朋友在路边不小心摔倒，腿被钢丝狠狠地刮开了深深的一条缝，血不停地流。再加上下雨，他的情形台同雪上加霜。他倒在地上痛苦地挣扎，我顿时慌了，大声呼救。可是下雨天路上行人很少，车也关了窗，听不见我的呼救。我竟惶急地哭了起来。这时，一个健壮的叔叔闻声跑来，见到这番情景，二话不说立刻把朋友抱起来，往附近的一家医院跑去，我也跟着跑去。到了医院，我告诉叔叔朋友家的电话号码，他去打电话叫朋友的父母来医院，然后坐下来静静地等待。他擦了擦被汗水和雨水弄湿的额头，衣服上那一摊朋友的血迹简直就像大红花一样。事后，朋友本想/感谢那位叔叔，可是他似乎在朋友父母来医院时就默默地走开了。

像这位叔叔一样的无名英雄还有很多，很难一一细数。但并非只有救人才能称为正能量，有时一些小事情也能体现出满满的正能量。

一个周末，我和同学搭公交车去书店看书。因为书店离家比较远，我们得乘好几个站。第一次上车的人并不多，可是却上来了个挺着大肚子的孕妇。这时，一个坐在座位上的大哥哥站起来，默默地让开，给孕妇让座。我不禁在心中给这位大哥哥点赞。下一站又上来了几个人，其中有一位柱着拐杖的老爷爷，看起来应该有七、八十岁了吧。我正想着有谁会给这位老人家让座，结果我意想不到的镱头出现了：孕妇站了起来，扶着老爷爷到座位上去。满满的正能量振撼着我，我多么希望这种正能量能一直延续下去。

城市大厦越来越大，越来越高，而人与人距离也越来越大，心灵也越来越隔膜。老人摔跤不敢扶，下水救人问回报，家亲不如手机亲，等等，这是一个什么样的社会呀!

有许多人喜欢追星，他们喜欢明星的光彩外表或职业技能。我觉得，我们社会更应该去追求正能量的东西，我们应该向生活或者新闻中的道德模范学习，学习他们身上的优秀的精神品质，并且散播正能量，弘扬正能量，共创美好生活!

赞成意见：

1.现在是信息社会，手机是最快的信息交流的工具之一。

2.应充分利用好手机。如偶遇突发事故，可立即拨打手机求助。

3.可在每天学习之余利用手机游戏放松一下自己。

4.只要正确使用好手机，紧跟时间并无过错，追求时尚可以理解，但学习是首要任务。

1.学校已提供了公共电话，因此手机并不能带来更多的方便，而且花费较多。

He is right. We always have great plans and dreams in our minds… too ready to achieve something grand thatChanges the world or benefits all of mankind .For example; we hate pollution and have made up our minds to find new energy sources that keep the environment clean. Yet we still litter on the ground. We complain about traffic jams, so we plan to build more highways to solve the problem, but it never occurs to us that our failure to follow traffic regulations is the leading cause of this situation. We are so concerned that the violence in the media has a bad impact on our children, we urge the government to set laws to protect them. But, do we, as adults, set a good example for our kids? We use nasty words and even spit on the ground in front of them, I dare to say, we harm more!

Dropped in at National Library to see the National Book Exhibition which will close today. Suprised at the fact that so many kinds of books are published in our country. Thought the childrens books with many pages of colorful illustrations were made very nicely. Bought a copy of the Chinese version of English and American Short Stories at a 20 per cent discount. Am going to read this through in this good season for reading.
