国家把重阳节这一天规定为敬老节，目的是用这种开展活动的方式来让人们树立尊老敬老的意识。国家设立一个社会普遍接受的节日，重要的目的在于提醒全社会对于某件事情的关注，而不是这件事情只有到了节日才想起来做。

任何一个希望能够获得效果的活动都要维持足够长的时间才能显示出它的意义来。

其实，老人们要求很简单，公园散步的陪伴、周末回家的晚餐、电话的问候，都能让他们感到无比的满足与幸福。
