“人生就像各种各样的朱古力，你永远不会知道那一块属于你。”阿甘母亲的话，向我们阐明了：每一个人的生命的存在，都是独一无二的。阿甘，正是听着这样的教诲，一步一个脚印地踩出属于自己的生活的奇迹。从智商只有75分而不得不进入特殊学校，到橄榄球健将，到越战英雄，到虾船船长，到跑遍美国，阿甘以先天缺陷的身躯，达到了许多智力健全的人也许终其一生也难以企及的高度。

在小说的电影版里开头和结尾都有在风中漂浮的白色羽毛，我们的人生往往就像那样，大多数时候我们在随波逐流，迷茫没有目的，平淡的令人厌倦。可是，一个腾挪一个改变一个转身，总还是可以由自己控制的，你只需尽力将他做的完满，不必计较你得到了多少，那么你就可以越飞越高，到达属于自己的那片天地，也许你会说我的确平凡得很，无一技之长，不会唱不会跳，更不会吟诗作画，注定这三年、四年就这么平淡了。然而世上只有一个天才牛顿，也只有一个神童爱迪生，而更多的人是通过尝试、通过坚持、通过毅力化平淡为辉煌。执着毅力在效果上有时能同天才相比。古语说的好：能登上金字塔顶端的生物只有两种：鹰和蜗牛。虽然我们不能人人都像雄鹰一样一飞冲天，但我们至少可以像蜗牛那样凭着自己的毅力默默前行。对生命的执着，对生活的希望，对信念的坚定，平凡的生命，不平凡的人生。

阿甘常爱说的一句话是：“我妈妈说，要将上帝给你的恩赐发挥到极限。”其实阿甘终归只是一个虚构人物，书中只是想通过这个任务的经历，叫到人们一种不一样的人生态度，就像阿甘那样，不管下一步要面对什么，他总能平淡的接受，并把自己做到最棒，不是怨天尤人，也不是自暴自弃，阿甘所做的，其实很简单，做最好的自己，别停下你的脚步。就像那个全力奔跑在林间小道上的阿甘;不知疲倦上身挺立始终的阿甘;不会被周围风景吸引坚持自己方向的阿甘;不会躲避，不会放弃，坚守诺言，坚定执著的阿甘。或许我们都需要像阿甘般的奔跑，不一定要快，但要坚持自己的方向，不要在意是否有掌声与喝彩，是否有追随者，奔跑途中的阿甘内心一定平静的如一片湖水，因为他知道You got to put the past behind you before you can move on(你必须把过去抛在脑后，才可以继续前进。)

生活中要学会自学，加强自制力，不能轻易被一些东西吸引了注意力，要坚持自己的目标一直到最后，很多时候我们就象阿甘一样找不到做一件事的理由，很多时候我们都远不及阿甘，那些不知为何而做的事情总是非常轻易的半途而废了。而我们不得不承认，很多事情的成功是有其偶然因素的，它会在你不经意时，给你做出的努力一个最恰当的褒赏。

老子说：“少则得，多则惑。”知道得少，反而有收获，知道得多，反而会迷惑……所以单纯的人容易成功!阿甘善于把所有的问题都简单化，简单单纯到了只剩下直奔成功。再聪明的人都无法完全认清世间万象，运转再快的头脑，也跟不上世界万物的变化。他把自己仅有的智慧、信念和勇气集中于前方，凭借直觉的指引无助的奔跑，在同龄人的石块下跑过了儿时的嘲笑，在教练的咒骂中跑过了大学的足球场，在枪林弹雨里跑过了越南的丛林，在冷战时期跑过了乒乓外教的战场，在众人的追随中跑遍了美国。

阿甘做的每一件事都可以说是成功的，这是为什么呢?每个人的领悟都不尽相同。我觉得是“执着”。

成功的方法不尽相同，除了执着，我觉得还应该有一好的计划，例如：随着社团活动的增加，课程的递增其他琐碎事情的不断出现，你会觉得周围的一切都好乱，忙的时候顾不得吃饭、休息，闲的时候又什么事情都没有，只是睡觉、上网、逛街、看小说。虚度光阴成为了主要的选择。如果没有计划你的生活将一团糟，只有把自己的生活计划好，才能距离成功的目标不再遥远，记得有一个故事说：一个年轻人问一个智者怎样能实现自己的梦想，智者问：你十年后的梦想是什么?年轻人：做一个千万富翁。智者：那么五年后呢你想做什么?。年轻人：拥有自己的一家公司。智者：那么一年后呢?年轻人：挣够10万元创业资金。智者：那么你明天要去干嘛。年轻人：去挣钱攒钱呀。智者：那你现在还在这里干嘛，你的梦想很好啊，从现在开始按照着你想的去做，你的梦想就能实现。

大家都说大学是一个小社会，是你即将步入社会的一个过渡大学要舍得吃苦。此时不搏何时搏?大学不是疗养院，父母送大家到学校来不是为了享福。在大学想享受生活的想法是完全不切实际的，在这个社会上资源最充沛的环境里踏实，努力，从容，淡定，执着，每个人都要在自己脚下的路上奔跑，然后，眨眼之间，我们已经四十、五十、六十岁了，你明白吧?

光阴似箭，把我们想法付诸于行动吧，你准备好了么?

纵观好莱坞的电影史，商业电影的制作一直主导着好莱坞的发展。其主要标志便是为了寻求利益的最大化，将整个电影产业的工业化。当作为消费艺术品的电影变成流水线上的工艺品时，就无可避免的会增强其作为商品的内在属性，好莱坞的电影导演和电影编剧们在进行创作时，所遵循的原则不过是投资者和制片人所期望的为了更加快速的消费与再生产。由此，艺术电影在好莱坞被边缘化，而商业电影则单一的类型化发展。尽管电影的技术手段一日千里的变换，各种电影流派、思潮、表现手法层出不穷，但戏剧或者借鉴戏剧结构的类型电影一直是好莱坞电影生产的主流。在一百多年间，好莱坞电影只有在上世纪50年代受到过欧洲艺术电影的影响。但在60年代末便迅速回潮，本土电影重回主流。究其原因，其一是诸如意大利的新现实主义、法国的左岸派等等欧洲的艺术电影并不适合北美观众的观影习惯，其二则是好莱坞的电影人在艺术电影方面达不到欧洲电影的高度，而最重要的一点是，艺术电影在商业电影的最重要的阵地根本就没有生存的土壤。在70、80年代的压抑积蓄之后，好莱坞电影终于在90年代强势回归，一大批优秀电影井喷似的出现，如沉默的羔羊、辛德勒的名单、阿甘正传、泰坦尼克号等等，其中阿甘正传以不到六千万美元的制作，狂揽近七亿美元的票房，并一举夺得当年奥斯卡最佳影片、最佳导演等六项大奖，取得了票房和口碑的巨大成功。

影片中的阿甘一生只爱过两个女人，一个是他的妈妈，另一个是他从小的好友珍妮。

阿甘的妈妈只教了他一件事，那就是告诉智商只有75的弱智的阿甘：“你和别人没有什么不同。”为了让阿甘能像正常的小孩一样接受正常的教育，她不惜以身体为代价，换取学校校长同意阿甘入学。当校长从房间内走出，阿甘模仿床第之欢的那声怪叫响起时，虽然导演有意的将这一悲剧色彩的场景处理成了颇具喜感的戏份，但这声怪叫声里潜藏着的那份强烈的悲凉的母爱，却足以刺痛任何一个稍具良知的人的心。正如她所希望的那样，阿甘非常清楚的知道了自己的缺陷，在阿甘小心翼翼的保护自己自尊的同时（阿甘从不承认自己弱智或者笨，他只说自己不聪明），他并没有因此感到自卑。她并没有教给阿甘更多的如生存的技能，人生的信仰等等每个母亲都会教给孩子的东西，她的一生确实是只用那句话影响着阿甘，正如她临终前所讲的那样：“……过我不知道，但我注定做你妈妈。我已竭尽所能。”影片所表达的主题不是母爱，但本片里塑造的这一别样的母亲形象，所传递的温暖却是最多的。

像很多人喜欢将电影赋予更多的象征意义一样，珍妮这个人物也被过度的解读。对于珍妮悲剧命运的成因，有人从心里学的角度出发，分析了其童年时遭到父亲性侵，对其成年后的滥交、吸食毒品、反对男权但又在实际生活中屈服男权的矛盾行为的决定性影响，得出了其悲剧命运是由其父亲对其的变态经历而造成的性格决定的结论。这种分析和结论的方法都源自对本片类型的理解侧重于史诗性电影，如果将本片看做一部爱情片，那就很容易发现，珍妮这一系列复杂情节不过是众多电影结构表现技巧中一种对比的方法，导演想要通过外延符号所表达的内涵能指其实是在珍妮与阿甘的关系上：

珍妮与阿甘再次重逢，阿甘向珍妮求婚：

阿甘：嫁给我吧？

珍妮回头看着阿甘。

阿甘：我会成为一个好丈夫的，珍妮。

珍妮：你会的，福雷斯特（阿甘）。

阿甘：但你不肯嫁给我。

珍妮：你不会想娶我这样的人。

阿甘：你为什么不爱我呢？珍妮？我不是个聪明人，可我知道什么是爱。

珍妮的这一句“你不会想娶我这样的人。”足以解释导演赋予珍妮在影片中的所有本文信息。因为父亲给她带来的阴影，让她觉得没有资格爱阿甘，也没有资格接受阿甘的爱，所以她放荡，游离在各色男人的怀抱里，所以她拒绝阿甘一次又一次的爱。珍妮并没有意识到这些，甚至没有意识到她对阿甘的爱，直至她再也不堪这样压抑的、伪装的、痛苦的生活，准备从阳台上纵身一跃，结束一切，直面死亡时，内心里最后一丝不舍才让她明白，那最柔软的地方，满满当当的装的全是阿甘。于是她回到了阿甘身边，短暂的相聚后，她再次的离开，只不过这次离开是为了重生，是想洗尽铅华后有资格爱和被爱。可惜的是，对珍妮而言，命运注定是悲剧的，她带着小阿甘静静地等着时间让自己蜕变时，生命并没有给她太多的时间，一种当时的医生连名字也叫不出病快速的吞噬着她的身体，她已经没有时间再完成蜕变，这一次，她选择了主动，在那个温暖的午后，她问阿甘说：“你愿意娶我吗？”

珍妮很长时间内都没有明白自己对阿甘的感情，阿甘同样也没有明白，所以他才问：“你为什么不爱我呢？珍妮？”但是他并不在乎，不在乎她和多少个男人上床，不在乎她想离开时就离开，想回来时就回来，不在乎一个没有生存希望的女人在绝症的时候才把余生托付给自己，他只知道自己想她，孤独的时候想，开心的时候想，生死的时刻也想，对他而言，没有什么比牵手时真实的存在感更重要。这样一种接近纯粹的、几乎不食人间烟火的爱情，在任何时代都能熠熠生辉，弥足珍贵。

阿甘和珍妮之间没有任何的诸如生死与共、不离不弃的诺言，他们甚至没有谈过恋爱，在他们那里，爱情如同烟花一般璀璨，也如同烟花一般的短暂，在珍妮的最后一个镜头里，阿甘在静静的述说着他一路走来时，路途上那些美丽的风景，珍妮无比遗憾、愧疚的说：“我但愿那时和你在一起。”而阿甘回答说：“你确实在的。”是的，对他们而言，生活里彼此拥有的时间实在太短太短了，但是，对于一份爱情来说，这，已经足够了。

本片是根据温斯特.格卢姆的同名小说改编，在原着的基础上有删减，也有增加，总体上保持了原着的主要内容，采用的是浓缩的编剧手法。虽然编剧埃力克.罗斯凭此夺得奥斯卡最佳改编剧本奖，但这并不能掩盖掉改编的缺陷。原着的内容十分繁冗，没有任何一种编剧技巧能将其完整而高质量的转化成120分钟的电影情节，虽然罗斯有删节，但仍显得大而全。阿甘所经历的美国50年代的几乎所有历史事件的情节占据了影片很大一部分篇幅，但这些情节并不是做为主线或副线发展而来的，而仅仅是为了全面展现美国当时的社会、政治生活，其中对水门事件、乒乓外交和小石城事件的处理最为生硬，场景间转换不流畅，情节发展好像剪辑跳接。然而处理最不如意的还是体现在对整个影片风格的把握上，原着是部政治荒诞讽刺小说，情节夸张，罗斯没有给予这些夸张情节以严肃的加工，处理的稍显简单，成为橄榄球明星、越战中立功、捕虾成为巨富、慢跑全美等一系列情节，被描述成了像童话一样的简单，缺乏真实的质感。导演罗伯特?泽米吉斯喜欢并且擅长电影数字特效，因此在他的电影里，场面调度和镜头都显得很平淡真实，只有为数不多的几个长镜头才有稍许的几分电影的意境，让我们看看珍妮墓前的阿甘的一段独白：

“.....是否我们每个人都有注定的命运......，还是我们的生命中只有偶然，像在风中飘.......但我想，或许两者都有吧，也许两者都在同时发生着，可是我想你，珍妮。如果你想要什么，我就在你身边。”

渐渐拉远的镜头里，一群飞鸟飞过，阿甘回过头望，在黄昏的大树下，心爱的珍妮安静的睡了，就睡在他们儿时玩耍的大树下，此时的阿甘，是想起珍妮弥留时说的那句也是唯一的一句：“I Love You”,还是他们在青春时节珍妮说的第一句台词：“run,Forrest,run...!”?
