It’s our duty toprotect our environment .No matter where we live ,we should do something tokeep our neighborhood clean and tidy .We can collect waste paper or otherwaste things for recycling.We should plant more trees and we should preventthose factories from pouring waste water into rivers,lakes and fields.We shouldn’t leave rubbish everywhere andspit in public places .We mustn’t pick the flowers or step on the grass inpublic.If everyone tries his best to protect the environment ,the world willbecome much more beautiful and our life will be better and better .

Through observation, I found that plastic bags on peoples harm and pollution is very large. People often use plastic bags: mother to buy food and plastic bags; to shopping malls with plastic bags; in the restaurant to eat rice is also packaged with plastic bags to take home; even I buy stationery also with plastic bags. People do not know what they do to the environment caused by pollution, their own body caused any harm. 一、市长叔叔，现在街上的垃圾箱很漂亮。但我觉得两个桶组成的垃圾箱更好一些。因为这样就可以把可回收和不可回收的垃圾分类放。把废纸，塑料瓶等可回收利用的放在标有“可回收”字样的桶里，把果皮等不可回收的放在标有“不可回收”字样的桶里。这样就便于回收利用，变废为宝，节约能源。特别是电池，危害非常大，一个一号电池能污染一平方米的土地。一个纽扣电池能污染600吨水，使人们不能饮用。所以，请市长设一个收购站专门收集废旧电池，集中处理，这样就会减少环境污染。

二、市长叔叔，您没有坐过一路车吧?上学时间，乘客大多数是我们小学生，有些大人不遵守不能在公共场所吸烟的规定。他们仍然在车上吸烟。他们吸烟弄得车上烟雾腾腾。我在报纸上看到：大人们吸烟时吐出来的烟雾，儿童们吸了进去就叫被动吸烟。被动吸烟可不同程度地影响儿童学习记忆能力，危害特别大。所以，请市长叔叔下令，严禁在车上吸烟。如果在车上遇到吸烟者，就重重地给予处罚。还我们一个无烟的环境。

三、市长叔叔，您一定上过街吧。街上的环境很漂亮。可是，有些厂家把推销产品的纸贴在墙上。这些纸的内容可多了：什么治病的、招工的、生活用品??样样都有。雪白的墙就被这些纸弄脏了。而且电杆上都有。更惨的是，只要能粘贴的地方都被贴满了。这和我们美丽的城市极不协调。所以，请市长叔叔让有关部门宣传一下，让那些贴广告者不要乱贴。广告纸要规定在一个地方贴。广告还是要宣传的嘛。这样，人们看广告就方便多了，又不影响城市美化。如果还有人仍然乱贴，就重重地处罚他。

市长叔叔，我知道这些建议有一定的难度。可是，只要去办就一定可以办到的。

随着社会的进步和发展，人类对大自然的破坏越来越严重，大自然面临着各种挑战，保护环境变得越来越迫在眉睫。

有一次，我路过了一条不知名的小河，那条小河的河面令我大吃一惊：那条河里全是脏脏的垃圾：有白色的塑料袋，吃剩的水果，饭盒垃圾……引来了许多老鼠和苍蝇，不时地散发阵阵恶臭。路过的人都不敢呼吸，捂着鼻子躲得远远的。放眼望去，飘荡在河面上的尽是垃圾，又黑又臭的小河像一块掉在垃圾堆里的黑年糕。

我愤怒地想：这里的人怎么能这么做呢？小河好像能听到了我的心声。回答道：“是呀，我曾经尽自己所能的帮助这里的乡亲们，热了来这游泳，衣服脏了来这儿洗，我是多么地为他们着想，他们如今却这么伤害我！请你转告他们，不要再伤害我了，saveme！”

保护我们的环境地球是我们的家园,我们必须照顾好它我们应该使减少污染,如我们所知大家在北美的垃圾进行1000公斤。大多数都是包装大部分垃圾变成土而不是塑料制品,塑料保持多年来它会污染我们的环境,所以我们不应该浪费我们应当做些事情回收利用。
