这因为什么？环境的变迁固然是一部分，但其它原因呢？还不是我们人类自己造成的。人们为了寻求方便，把脏水倒入河流，以为河流能自己清洁过来。的确，如果只是一两个人、一次两次这样做，河流确实能清洁过来，那如果千千万万个人、千千万万次地这样做呢？别说是一条河流，就算是十条、百条、千条，甚至一片大海，都不可能恢复过来。要知道，现在我们能看到、喝到的水大约不到全球总淡水的百分之五，其余百分之九十几都在南、北极的永冻冰层里。

而现在，全中国的淡水中，完全不被污染的只有百分之三左右！所以我们应该行动起来，保护这为数不多的净水。希望这世界上最后一滴水不是人类的眼泪。

说完水，我们再来说说植物，尤其是树。树的作用相信大家都不陌生，比如制造氧气、防噪音、保护水土等等。但这些几乎已经成为常识的知识，还不足以影响到那些以伐木为生的人。他们可不管什么森林变沙漠，他们只关心钱。

Cars and Air Pollution

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

As time goes by, man is making the earth sick. People cut down too many trees and leave rubbish everywhere. Factories let out their waste without doing anything to it . I study in the No.1 Primary School. Its one of the best primary schools in my city. There are four buildings in campus.Two of them are teaching buildings. The other two are library and gym. The teaching buildings are huge and the classroom is large and bright. There are plenty of books in the library. I like reading books in the library. After class, students like playing in the gym. It’s a popular place after class. Besides, our teachers are great. They care much about students. I am happy to study in my school.

我经常和邻居家的小弟弟去小溪边玩，有一次，我骑着自行车带着小弟弟去小溪边玩，这里的溪水清澈见底，花草也长的非常茂盛，溪里的贝壳好看极了，有黄色的，有绿色的，有黄色的，怎么数也数不清，我和小弟弟经常在这里打水仗。

我决定在每年的春天，我都和爸爸妈妈回家乡种几棵树，和家乡的小朋友们共同发起“养一盆花，栽一棵树，爱护每一片草地，不乱丢垃圾”以及让我们的爸爸妈妈“放下方便袋，拿起菜篮子”的倡议。

虽然，我们现在做的只不过是一些鸡毛蒜皮的小事，但是我相信，只要我们人人都有保护环境的责任心，那么我们就会看到一个干净又美丽的世界!
