Thanks for your last letter. Im so glad that you have been able (at last! ) to arrange a holiday in Australia. As I fear I wont be able to meet you at the airport when you arrive, nor will I be able to be home until later in the afternoon, so here are some instructions and suggestions.

There is a bus from the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station.

To get to my place in the eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the train. I suggest you take the train, since the airport bus will leave you right at the station. Get off at Cliff Station. From there you can either walk to my place (about ten minutes) or take a taxi. Probably you should take a taxi as you will have luggage.

When you arrive at my flat, ring the intercom for Flat 2. My friend Lillian will be at home and she will open the front door for you and let you into my flat.

Presumably you will be tired and want to sleep. But if you feel like some exercise after that long flight, you could stroll down to Cooper Park, which is only ten minutes away ? you can see it from the window.

When cellphone became popular many years ago, parents and school at first

banned students to take cellphone into classroom, but now, even the small child

记得在外婆家，那种童年的心和快乐的笑容，不计其数。有一年夏天，我和表哥渴得很，有不想喝水，就偷偷摸摸的跑到田野里摘西瓜吃，可那时的西瓜只有一个“小”皮球那么大，我跟表哥说“算了吧，随便挑一个。”表哥说“嗯。”我俩拿着一个西瓜，用力扮开，尝尝这美味，我们尝了一口，还算可以，不大却好吃。还有的时候，我们叫上二叔和爸爸一起去河里游泳，这些童年去事我会忘记吗？

记的在奶奶家，那里树上的`水果一到秋天就数不胜数，有鸭梨，枇杷，还有橙子，柑子，都疯了似的长出来。我就像孙猴子大闹“天宫”，把“天宫”上的食物全搬下来，那悲伤让人民享用吧！——这些童年趣事，我深记在脑海，等着更大的时候，在悲伤的时候回忆过去，是多么有意义的事啊！

七八岁时的一个夜晚，天空有月亮也有繁星。我拿一个空空的脸盆跑到院子里接水洗脸。水龙头“哗哗”的专音响起，到脸盆的水一半时我把水龙头关紧。我正准备端起来时，脸盆的水平面平静成一面镜子，镜子中出现一个“白玉盘”月亮！身边还有小星星。我抬头看天空，不是还有月亮和星星吗？我想：一定是月亮妈妈的小宝宝太淘气了，跑到我家来玩，还把伙伴也带下来了。我急忙回家告诉妈妈的发现：“妈妈，妈妈！月亮妈妈的宝宝跑到我家的脸盆里去玩了，还有一些小星星！”说完，拉着她的手往院子里跑，指着脸盆给妈妈看。妈妈看了后眉开眼笑地对我说：“好了，你先去睡，明天再来看月亮吧！”第二天早上，我又去接水，可脸盆里什么也没有，只有蓝天和白云。这时，我放声大哭：“我要月亮！我要月亮！”这可把妈妈难住了，上哪给我找月亮？妈妈摸摸我的头，说：“不要哭了，今天你如果乖乖的，我就给你找到月亮。”我听完后，立刻停止了哭声。晚上，妈妈又给我找回了月亮……

昨天晚上虽然下了大雨，可我又想起这事，想起我为月亮不见而着急时，自己也不由难为情地笑了起来。

那是我5岁的时候，妈妈买回一大包五香葵花瓜子，我吃着又香又脆的瓜子，不禁问妈妈：“妈妈，这瓜子这么香，这么脆，是怎么得来的？”妈妈耐心地对我说：“瓜子是由向日葵得来的，把一粒葵花籽种下去，就可以结出许多瓜子。”我听了妈妈的话，心里便想出了一个计划。

第二天，爸妈都出去了。我拿出一大把瓜子，然后把它种了下去希望它能长大成树，让大家大吃一惊。

于是我盼呀盼呀，一个星期过去了，地上并没有长出向日葵，连根草都没有。我哭丧着脸，把事情的经过告诉了全家人，谁知道他们听了哈哈大笑。我不知道怎么办好，就问妈妈：“怎么了？”妈妈笑着说：“你种的种子是熟的，不能长出向日葵，只有种生的瓜子才能长出向日葵，不信你试一试。”在妈妈的帮助下，我种的向日葵终于长出了小苗。

这件事，早已成为陈年旧事，这件童年趣事像一颗发光的的小贝壳，永远留在我记忆的海滩上。

寒假到了，老师让我们写一篇童年的趣事，我仔细地回想了一下，一件件往事在我头脑中闪现……

记得在上幼儿园时，我们学习画小鸡。老师先画给我们示范，我们再照着画。我先看看别的小朋友怎么画，然后才开始动笔。画完之后，我看看别人画的和我画的不一样，我就对他说：“你画错了，小鸡应该有两只眼睛，你怎么就画一只眼睛呢？”于是，他也跟我一样，给小鸡又加了一只眼睛。可老师批的时候只给我打了两颗五角星，我好奇地问：“鸡不就是有两只眼睛吗？”老师笑了笑说：”从正面看的确有两只眼睛，可从侧面看却是一只眼睛。”

回到家，我把这幅画给爸爸看，我问爸爸：“有没有错？”爸爸说：“有，这种问题就是小菜一碟，这点小问题是逃不过我的火眼金睛的！小鸡多画了一只眼睛。”我大吃一惊，问：“你是怎么知道的？”“其实，我小时候也犯过类似的错误，后来我就留意观察多动脑筋思考，从此就没有犯过这样的错误了。”爸爸笑着说。

我知道了：一个人犯错误是正常的，但要从错误中学到知识，所以犯错误也是有收获的。不过，既然犯错误也有收获，我经常犯点错，应该也不是问题吧。

这不，我又犯错了！有一天放炮，我把衣服上炸了好多小洞，回到家爸爸看到了，说：“你身上炸这么多小洞都快成蜂窝了！”我在旁边偷笑，说：“爸爸，我想吃蜂蜜了。”爸爸说：“那我买一罐蜂蜜，再买几个仙人掌，把刺拔下来，放在你身上，再放点儿蜂蜜，这样想吃就拿，多好啊！别说我了，估计连妈妈也羡慕你了。”我连忙说：“对了，我这几天有痰，不能吃甜的。”爸爸说：“不早说嘛，钱都准备好了！”

这些都是我童年的“陈芝麻烂谷子”，如今，那种低级错误很少再犯，但是我和老爸之间的默契的斗嘴还是常有的。

这个寒假的一天，我和妈妈在街头目睹了一场惨剧。一个清洁工人被一辆摩托车在隧道内撞倒，伤势严重，120的医护人员正在现场抢救中。虽然我们走得匆忙，但那触目惊心的一幕却深深地烙印在我心中。

在常人眼里，环卫工人似乎是那么渺小，那么卑微。然而在我心中，环卫工作是一份神圣的职业，他们是城市美丽的守护者。这几年，随着人们意识的改变，尊重、理解环卫工人的人越来越多。社会各界也纷纷推出“暖心”活动，夏天为环卫工人送清凉的绿豆汤，冬天送热腾腾的奶茶。我想得知这一事故的消息，这些关心工人的好心人都会像我一样感到痛心。

在伤心的同时，这起事故也引起了我深思：以前在电视、网上报道这样的事故时，除了对环卫工人的惋惜以外，记者也把枪口直击市民，认为素质不够高，乱扔垃圾等。但除了这个原因外，我们从环卫工人自身找找原因呢？环卫工人大多以中老年居多，由于一天工作量大、时间长，容易疲劳，而且中老年相对而言文化水平较低，安全意识比较淡薄，对交通事故的防范性不强。我希望环卫所加强对环卫工人多进行安全教育等培训，加强交通安全防范意识，使悲剧不再发生，使他们的工作更加安全，更加高效。

新的一年开始了，我希望每个人都能珍惜环卫工人的劳动成果，能理解和关心他们。更希望环卫工人安全警钟长鸣，工作顺利，平平安安！
