我很快喜欢上了这两只可爱的小乌龟，一有工夫就陪它们玩。一天，妈妈要出门了，留下我一个人在家。临走的时候，妈妈说：“儿子，今天的天气转凉了，要多穿点衣服，别着凉了。”我想：“乌龟会不会着凉啊？”于是我连忙跑到装乌龟的鱼缸前。只见两只乌龟缩着脖子趴在鱼缸一角，一动也不动。我奇怪地问：“小乌龟们，你们怎么不游啊？”但它们一点反应也没有。我想起妈妈说的话，心想：乌龟一定很冷。好啦，我来给你们装些热水，让你们暖和暖和吧。

于是，我把两只乌龟拿出来放在地上，拿着鱼缸跑到洗手间把冷水倒掉后，又跑到饮水机前装了热水，然后把乌龟放了进去。果然，乌龟游了起来，而且比平时游的速度快了很多，我很得意。可是，过了一会儿，乌龟游的速度又慢了下来，最后居然四脚朝天地躺在水面上了。“乌龟游累了，它们要睡觉了。”我这样想着，就离开了鱼缸去看电视了。

爸爸回来了，我告诉爸爸说：“乌龟们在睡觉。”爸爸没有去看乌龟，顺口说道：“它们在冬眠。”

第二天，妈妈到阳台上浇花，一看乌龟，就把我叫了过去，大声地说：“你昨天是怎么搞的？把乌龟给弄死了。”我说：“不是的，妈妈。我怕乌龟冷，昨天还把冷水换成了热水呢！爸爸说它们在冬眠。”妈妈哭笑不得。

现在我已经是六年级的学生了，回想起这些童年趣事，我还不禁偷偷地笑。
