She is very busy today, just like a busy bee. In the morning, I had two seccsions and after that I had a lesson for my IELTS. I dont even have my lunch. There lots of people in my IELTS class and most of them came from India. The reason why they want to attent this course is similar to me. Right now, I feel exhausted and dont want to work, but I still have lots homework to do.

诚信最珍贵 每天放学，我都要路过宝小门口的小卖部，看看今天里边有什么新鲜玩意儿。有一天 ，我忽然发现小店的货架上出现了个我一直梦寐以求的悠悠球，它发出耀眼的光芒，外壳是金黄色的，里面的绿色的，绚丽的外壳上还写着“光子精灵”四个小字。就是它!我拿着它爱不释手地抚摸着。

这时，小店老板走过来对我说：“喜欢吗?这个悠悠球原价要二十六元，最低二十三元卖给你。”我摸摸口袋，发现只有二十元钱，老板见我十分渴望得到这个悠悠球，就对我说：“那好吧，你先付二十元把它拿走，下次记得还我三元哟!”我喜出望外地答应道：“好的!”我交了钱，一边笑，一边玩，一边高高兴兴地回家了。

然而后来我就将此事忘在了脑后，直到过了几天想起时，我便想，这么长时间了，可能老板自己也忘记了吧。带着这种侥幸的心理，从此每次路过宝小门口，我都避开走，更不敢去跟老板还三元钱。然而我的举动引起了妈妈的注意，妈妈好象看透了我的心思，问我：“你怎么了呀?以前你不是都要没事去店里面看看有没有喜欢的小玩意吗?现在怎么看都不看了?”我立即低下头对妈妈说：“啊、噢，我上次买了一个悠悠球，差了老板三元钱没有不还。。。”我半天才说出了原因，妈妈赶紧给我钱让我现在就去还。

还钱后，我觉得心里舒服极了，我感觉做人一定要做一个诚实守信的人，相倍别人，也相信自己!

有的人说，我们的地球应当叫水球。这是有一定道理的，因为我们生活的这个星球存在着水，而且71％的表面积被水履盖着。从太空看，地球是一个蓝色的球，十分璀灿，是太阳系家庭中独一无二。

地球上的水，尽管数量巨大，而能直接被人们生产和生活利用的，却少得可怜。首先，海水又咸又苦，不能饮用，不能浇地。其次，淡水只占总水量的2。6％左右，其中的绝大部分，被冻结在远离人类的南北两级和冻土中，无法利用。只有不到1％的淡水，它们散布在湖泊里、江河中和地底下。加上我国水环境恶化的问题十分突出。主要是江河湖泊等水体受到污染，污染的河流长度约占一半。北方河流断流的现象加剧，居民饮水困难，工农业生产受损。水土流失治理缓慢，草原退化、沙漠化面积仍不断扩展。

所以我们都要节约用水，加强环保意识，保护水资源。现在我就给大家介绍几种节水方法。用洗衣机洗少量衣服时，水位不要定得太高，衣服在高水里飘来飘去，互相之间缺少摩擦，反而洗不干净，还浪费水。还可以将漂洗的水留下来做下一批衣服洗涤用水或是用来浇花草，一次可以省下30多升水。还有，洗脸水用后可以洗脚，然后冲厕所。淘米水用来洗碗筷。养鱼的水浇花，能促进花木生长。

让我们一起来保护我们赖以生存的水资源吧！

In the past twenty years, China has faced three American presidents, but till coming to Yale today, I never realized that China really just faced one university. Although, through these three presidents, I understand that the quality of Yale graduates is not so even.

在过去的二十年中，中国一直在跟美国的三任总统，但是今天到了耶鲁，我从来没有意识到，中国真的面临一个大学。虽然，透过这三位总统，我的理解是，耶鲁大学的毕业生的质量甚至是不。

Let me begin my main subject and let me give it a title, called “My Story and the Chinese Dream Behind It”. I want to talk about five particular years. The first is 1968. That year I was born. But it was also a chaotic year for the world. In France, there was this huge street disturbance, and in America, too. Then President Kennedy was assassinated. However, I really did not cause all of these! But that year what we remember more was the assassination of Mr. Martin Luther King. Although he fell that year, his words “I have a dream” stood up, not only stood up in America, but across the whole world.

But sadly, not only for me, but for almost all Chinese, we did not know such a dream. It was hard to describe each Chinese as having his or her own dream. 水，以生命的形式在我们的身体中涓涓流动。水是人，人也是水，水在人体中流淌，人在水周围生存。人是水的心脏，水是人的脊梁。在冥冥之中我们注定与水有着密不可分的联系。老子曾说过：“天下至柔莫过于水，而攻坚强者莫之能胜，以其无以易之，弱之胜强，柔之胜刚，天下莫不如。”水脆弱得一触既碎，温暖的阳光就可以轻易地使它消失得无影无踪。可是，水又是十分强大的。你看岩洞的滴泉，经过无数次拼搏，最柔弱的水竟能滴穿坚硬的岩石。再看看那滚落高崖的水，如土山飞崩，雷霆万钧。那气势排山倒海，那轰声气吞山河。回头看人，人也如此。法国思想家帕斯卡尔曾说：“人是自然界最脆弱的东西，一口气、一滴水就足以致他于死命。然而，人却仍然要比致他于死命的东西更高贵得多。”人可以被轻易地毁灭，但他又有着与水一样不可忽视的巨大力量，它可以主宰自然，可以使世界发生翻天覆地的变化，甚至可以摧毁整个地球。

水是无私的，她是生命的源泉，她用自己养育了世间无数的生命。然而她不求回报，只是这样默默地、无私的为人类为生物奉献着自己的一点一滴。

我真希望我的生命之河能如水一般奔流不息，在它所流淌过的地方，是一片采摘梦想果实的丰收田野。也许在茫茫人海中，我是微不足道的一滴水珠，但我希望我能折射出太阳的光辉。

二水是人类及其他生物繁殖的基本条件，是人类生活不可替代的重要资源。有这么一则公益广告：“人类最后一滴水，就是自己的眼泪!”此时，我仿佛看见一滴硕大的眼珠滚落而下，坠地有声。泪珠的后面到处是裂开的土地，枯死的庄稼，我隐隐听见大自然因干渴垂危而发出的痛苦呻吟。

或许有人会认为这则广告有些危言耸听，但一个个鲜活的事例却给它加上了充分的注脚。这是一个真实的故事：xx年，我国西部直辖市重庆遇到了干旱，那时烈日当头，土地晒得开了缝，每条缝都足有三四十厘米深，二三十厘米宽，残忍得连庄稼也低下了头，人们颗粒无收。有人说：“十天不饮食不要紧，十天不饮水可是天大的事了。”事实证明了一切：重庆地带的人们因为干渴，有些幼儿和老年人因几天没饮水，竟然离开了人世。

素有“泉城”之称的济南，曾是“家家泉、依依柳”，水够多了吧，许多缺水城市都羡慕不已。可如今的济南，因要全面建设小康社会，地下水开发过度，引起家喻户晓的名胜趵突泉几度停喷。老舍笔下那股鲜活，富有生命力的泉水已成为泉城美好而痛苦的回忆，又一个缺水城市即将展现在我们的眼前。听了这个故事你会有什么感觉呢?

据我所知：我国是一个干旱缺水严重的国家。我国的淡水资源总量为28000亿立方米，但是，我国的人均水资源总量仅仅只有2300立方米，为世界平均水平的四分之一，是全球人均水资源最贫乏的国家之一。然而，中国有十三亿人口，是世界上用水量最多的国家。有人说：“浪费一滴水无所谓，我们不缺这一点，水龙头一开，水哗哗地流淌出来。”真是如此吗?不，一个个鲜活的事例早就否定了这一切。

人类不爱惜水资源，不保护生态平衡，终究还是尝到了自己种下的苦果。如今，很多人天天喝着受污染的水，咀嚼着受污染的粮食。人们在享受现代工业文明的同时，也遭受着水污染带来的威胁，由此而造成社会损失和经济损失非数字可以罗列。这是大自然对人类的报复，是对人类咎由自取的大嘲讽!

水是生命的源泉，是万物赖以生命的基础。节约用水，保护水资源是我们每一个人义不容辞的责任。为了那可爱有容易破碎的地球，让我们一起珍惜水资源，保护水资源吧。

在墩煌，有个月牙泉。它已有上百年的历史，人们赞美它是天上的镜子。星星在玩耍的乐园，令人心驰神往。然而，随着时间的流逝，如今的月牙泉，在也不像以前那么雄伟，那么壮观。水底下的水生植物，早已被干枯至死。鱼儿也不像以前那样游得自由自在，一不小心就回栽到底下的泥坑里，水位也有明显下降，月牙泉的四周围起了珊栏。人们在也不能跟它近距离接触。由此可见，水对动物是多么重要!

一滴水，或许挽救不了一个人的生命，但却可以延续一个干渴的人的生命。一滴水，或许不可能让大地变得春意盎然，但却可以挽救一棵干枯的大树。

从电视上了解到：有只千斤重的大海龟，近几天来，它一直食欲不振，不肯进食。周围的工作人员心急如焚，找到兽医，原想为它做b超。可由于体积实在太重，连兽医也没有办法。几天后，大海龟死了，它悲惨地死去了。当工作人员将它解剖开时。才发现，原来大海龟的胃边，缠绕着一只黑色的塑料袋。据说，就是因为海水浑浊不清，大海龟看不清食物，才将塑料袋吞进了肚子里，导致无法进食，悲惨死去。

醒醒吧!可怕的人类!造成这种后果的罪魁祸首。其实就是你们!从现在开始，节约每一滴水，保护水源，拯救我们共同的朋友吧!

水是人类生存和发展不可替代的资源，是经济和社会可持续发展的基础。

每当我踏出家门时，都会感觉到臭气熏天。问题就出在门前的小沟。在我能记事的那天起，它就是那么清澈，甚至可以下去游泳。但是，因为近几年来的经济发展，使工业废水、垃圾以及家庭中的脏水不断地向小沟里排，导致小沟变得混浊，变成了黄褐色，再也看不到沟底那晃动的沙石。难道只有当我们身处一望无际的沙漠中，用手颤颤地捧起干瘪的皮裹，才终于领悟到水的珍贵么?

面对水资源不断浪费我们应该怎么办呢?下雨天时，我们可以用老天给的“免费水”呀!每个家庭都用几个大盆来接“免费水”，或者能设计一个收集器，把收集到的经过循环处理，还能用来喝呢!这样不但水费便宜了，并且把水资源也给节约了。

对付节约水资源，我还有一条“妙计”啰!现在经济好转，家家户户都安装了空调，你是否也有想过空调的水也可以节约呢?每晚，在空调下放一个大桶，起床后，你往桶里一瞧，你会惊奇的发现空调的水竟然把大桶装满了，估计有几公斤呢!它可以用来冲厕所啊!这不也是可以节约水吗?

我们平时用的洗菜水可以把它留下，用来浇花，冲厕所;洗衣机第2、3次排的水也可以留下，用来冲洗地板;还有拖地板的水，可别小看它，它一样可以冲厕所哟!为了保护水资源，我还想提议如下几点建议：

1.充分利用水资源，不浪费。

2.不向江、湖、河、沟排放废水、垃圾。

3.不要在沟边洗脏衣服。

4.向周围的人宣传“保护水资源”。

水是生命的摇篮，是任何生物赖以生存的东西。人们啊，不要只知道不断索取，而不懂得去珍惜，甚至污染和破坏。我们头顶一片蓝天，脚踏一块土地，让我们共同行动起来，保护水资源!
