Last March, my mother told my father and me that my grandfather would come in April. 雅安地处四川盆地西部边缘，是连接川藏的民族走廊，境内山高林密，江河密布，降水充沛，植被良好，水电资源更是得天独厚。全市多年平均降水量1254.6毫米，水资源总量173.7亿立方米，森林覆盖率达62%，流域面积在30平方公里以上的河流131条，水能资源理论蕴藏量1600万千瓦，经济可开发量达1322万千瓦，是全国闻名的十大水电基地之一。

The Moon Festival is on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month. It is one of the traditional Chinese Festivals.

On that day, the Chinese usually have a special family dinner. Each member of the family, even from far away, will go back home to have the dinner. During the dinner, they eat a lot of delicious food, watch TV programmes and chat about everything happily. They also eat moon cakes.an important kind of food of the Moon Festival. Moon cakes are always round like the moon. There is bean paste, egg-yolk, ice cream or some other nice fruits or food in them.

老师们、同学们：上午好

今天国旗下讲话的主题是：保护水资源，争做环保小卫士

每年的3月22号是“世界水日”，水，人类赖以生存的物质基础，正是灵动的水才给予了生命最本质的活力，世界因它而显得丰富多彩，显得恣意盎然，显得蓬勃苍劲。自古以来，水就是一个永恒的主题。而今，水资源早已成为备受关注的焦点。随着经济的快速发展，人类对水资源的需求也因为生活水平的提高而逐渐呈上升趋势，但如今我们不得不面对一个沉重的现实问题：干旱缺水、洪涝灾害和水污染等水资源恶化的趋势日益严重。

大家都知道，我国是一个贫水国家，人均淡水只有2240立方米，不到世界人均水平的四分之一，居世界第109位，被列为世界13个严重缺水的国家之一。由于缺水，我国农村粮食产量减少，西北沙漠化严重，沙尘暴频繁发生。节约用水对于我们每一个中国人来说，已是当务之急。

同学们，烈日炎炎的夏天，当你拧开水龙头，舒舒服服地冲着凉水澡时，你们知道吗?你洗澡所用的水是缺水地区几十人的日用水量;当你冲洗马桶时，你一次用水量当于发展中国家人均日用水量;当粗心的你没有拧紧水龙头，它一个晚上流失的水，相当于非洲或亚洲缺水地区一个村庄的居民日饮用水量……这些事例决不是耸人听闻，而是联合国有关机构多年调查得来的结论。

我们不想看到世界的最后一滴水是我们苍老的眼泪，让我们呼唤水资源，呼唤洁净卫生的绿色水资源，在第十七个世界水日到来之际，我们呼吁：

1、请不要浪费生活用水，珍惜点滴资源;

2、请尽量考虑循环用水，提高水资源利用效率;

3、请注意保护水资源，不要随意污染;

4、请用完水后，记得拧紧水龙头;

5、请提醒身边的朋友：注意节约用水。

同学们，最近我发现有许多人开始有了爱玩水，浪费水的现象，可是你们知道那浪费的每一滴水有多重要吗？

水可是生命之源，你们听过一句话叫人七天不吃饭饿不死，人三天内不喝水会渴死。在很多地区水都很难取得，人体中水约占体重的60%，如果每人每天浪费一滴水，那中国13亿人要浪费多少水你知道吗？而有人却面对滴水的水龙头却不以为然地说：“不就是一滴水吗？有什么大不了的，地球上那么多水呀！多这一滴水不多，少这一滴也不少。”

那我就来和你谈谈水有多重要，地球上的水尽管数量巨大，但是大多都是又苦又咸的海水，因为大部分淡水都被冰冻在了地球的两极，而有些还是地下水，这些是我们无法使用的水，全球咸水占了97.47%，而淡水只有2.53%，但大部分还是冰川和冰山，这就占了1.736%了，还有地下水，剩下全国人民可用的淡水现在大概还不到0.3%多小的一个数，你再想想那么干旱地区，喝口水都难，而你却在浪费水，不觉得很可怕吗？由此可见我们地球的用水资源是极为有限的，可不能再浪费水了。

我们的生活中处处都要用到淡水，淡水资源还那么的少，你却在浪费，那我们可用的，喝的淡水，还剩多少了呢？

现在你再想想一滴水有多重要了吗？千万不能小看这一滴水，也许我们不可能在一瞬间改变所有的浪费水现象，但是如果我们每一个人都能做到从我做起，从小做起，勤俭节约，学会珍惜，让我们的节约行动乘以13亿倍，那么我们的生活就一定像鲜花绽放般美好。

生活的富足并不意味着可以放任浪费，节约是一种美德，也是一种社会责任，如果地球上的水被用光了，那最后一滴水，即将是人类的泪水。

The Hero in My Heart

As we know, most people have heroes in their hearts. For me， Liu Xiang is

the hero in my heart. He is a famous Chinese sportsman.

Liu Xiang is good at running. In 2004， he won his first Olympic gold medal

in the men，s 110m hurdles event in Athens. Then, he set a world record in the

same event in Lausanne.Besides training and taking part in competitions, Liu

Xiang also likes singing and he sings well.

With his hard work, he is winning competitions one after another. This

encourages me to study harder from now on.
