今年，我国大西南焦渴难耐：河流见底，水库干涸，饮水匮乏，土地欠种，水运断航……云南、广西、贵州、四川、重庆等省市旱情还在加剧。

那我们应该怎么办呢?

随着人口增加，水资源越来越少，农业污染和化工污染使水的质量也越来越差。淡水那么少，人们还极度的浪费水、污染水。在南非召开的可持续发展世界首脑会议已将水危机列为未来10年人类面临的最严竣的挑战之一，到2025年，将有近一半人口生活在缺水地区，现在缺水或水资源紧张的地区正不断扩大。在非洲严重缺水，成千上万人都因喝了有问题的水或没有水喝而死亡。对他们来说，水是至尊的宝物!

现在的人越来越不节约用水了，说不定什么时候广播里会发出这样的警报：“再过几个月，水将消失。”到那时才发现一滴水的价格相当于一滴血的价格，这是多么可怕的事情啊!

因此，节约用水，保护水资源成了现在的重中之重!我们每个人都要从我做起，从现在做起。比如：

1、洗米水可以用来洗脸、浇花、拖地和冲厕所；

2、洗澡时不要将喷头始终地开着，而应该间断放水淋浴。搓洗时应及时关水；

2、在家中用水要勤俭节约。洗完菜的水不要倒掉，还可以用来浇水、浇花等。还要让家长在工作单位上也节约用水。不要以为工家的水就可以浪费了。这是不正确节约水的表现。也是不负责任的表现。

3、如果见到有人故意破坏水源，应勇敢的向他劝说，并说明破坏水源会给我们带来极大的危险。而且让他以后要保护水资源。遇到劝阻不听的，并且情节严重的，要直接报告有关部门，用法律来惩罚他们。

4、在学校里，我们要做同学们的榜样，做同学们的表率。让同学们也有保护水资源的责任感。像拖地的时候，同学们在冲拖把的时候，浪费水极多。如果这样浪费，得浪费很多水呀!应该在冲拖把的地方设立两个水池，一个是冲脏物，一个是清洁的。同学们在拖完地时，上面有许多脏物，先到冲脏物的水池里把脏物冲掉。在到清洁的地方冲干净。这样就节约了不少水既节约了水，又把拖把冲干净了，真是一举两得!

《在水一方有伊人》的主人公张艳是IUCN龙门项目负责人，近两年来一直在这个位于广东省惠州市的小县从事小流域保护工作。广东省惠州市龙门县，是达能益力矿泉水的优质水源地。从2008年开始，达能对龙门水源地展开多年水源、土壤和环境研究，建立起三级水源保护区及缓冲区，对水源地进行着全方位保护。

Until recently, we have started to acknowledge that we should make the bigger efforts to save water. Therefore, so save water from every single person is important. That is why we should save water at home. If every one of us saves water at home, then the water saved together would be a huge amout. And I have some suggestions following: we could cycle the water we just used them to wash clothes to water the plants or to rush the toilet; when we wash our hands, we could turn the tap off for the moment we put soap on our hands etc.
