Our increasing population witt tremendously increase urban waters, primarily sewage. On the other hand, increasing demands for water witt decrease substantially the amount of water available for diluting wastes. Rapidly expanding industries which involve more and more complex chemical processes will produce large volumes of liquid wastes. Many of thesewitt contain chemicals that are poisonous. To feed our rapidly expanding population, agriculture will have to be intensified. This will involve ever increasing quantities of agriculture chemicals. From this, it is apparent that drastic steps must be taken immediately to develop corrective measures for the pollution problems.

There are two ways by which these pollution problems can be lessened. The first relates to the treatment of wastes to decrease their pollution hazard. This involves the processing of solid wastes "prior to" disposal and the treatment of liquid wastes to permit the reuse to the water or best reduce pollution upon final disposal. The second approach is to develop an economic use for all or part of the wastes. Farm manure is spread in fields as a nutrient. Wastes from sewage disposal plants are used in some areas both for irrigation and for the nutrients contained. Liquid wastes from other processing plants may also be used as a supplemental source of water. Only by doing these promptly now can we expect to solve the serious water problems in the future.

With the deepening of reform and opening-up of our country, many people dream of going abroad for further study. They insist that the modern research facilities, world famous professors and excellent environment in those foreign colleges can help lay a perfect foundation for their future development.

However, there are still many people who favor studying at home. They argue that studying abroad is too expensive and doesnt pay. They also point out that there are no language and cultural barriers if they study at home.

受奶奶的影响，我们全家都养成了节约用水的好习惯。妈妈也是节水的模范，她总是用淘完米的水用来洗碗，洗衣服的水用来冲厕所，即使到菜园浇水，她也总小心翼翼的用小碗，把水浇倒根部。我呢，向来做事大大咧咧，但节水意识有所增强。记得有一次学校大扫除，一些低年级学生拿着拖把去厕所洗，把水开到最大，还有的人居然兴高采烈地在打水仗!我心想：这得浪费多少水啊，要让奶奶看到了非心疼死不可!我便走过去把水龙头关小，有告诉那几个小孩子节约用水有多重要，他们似乎是被我突如其来的举动给吓到了，楞在那儿似懂非懂地眨巴着眼睛看着我，然后有继续玩自己的，我无奈，便吓他们道：“你们再这样浪费水，我就告诉你们班主任，让她批评你们!”果然是软的不行来硬的就行了，小鬼马上停止了这浪费水的游戏，纷纷作鸟兽散了。看到关的紧紧的水龙头，我心里充满了喜悦和成就感，感觉自己好像是一个大英雄。虽然这个成就是吓倒小孩子才得到的，但一想到刚刚节约下来的水可能会帮到很多缺水的人们，心里就一点愧疚都没有了。

“节约用水，人人有责”这句话谁都知道，而真正能做到并一直坚持的人却很少。古人云：取之有度，用之有节，常足矣。节约用水，不仅是为了我们，更是为了我们的子孙后代，为了我们这个星球。有句话说的很深刻，“地球上最后一滴水是人类的眼泪”，这句话我们都明白，那我们也应该尽全力阻止这种情况的发生。或许一个人的力量太薄弱，可如果13亿人都来节约用水，将会节约多少水源!为了我们的未来，为了这个世界的未来，未来这个蔚蓝星球的未来。节约用水吧!节约用水，我们在行动!

电脑也是我的开心果。有一次，我让电脑帮我找一些小游戏，瞧!游戏开始了，是生活篇里的做蛋炒饭的游戏，我炒啊炒，不知怎的，就炒糊了，害得客人捏着鼻子才吃完，工钱只有1元钱，真是气死我了，再接再厉啊……电脑给了我无穷的乐趣!

电脑真是我的知心朋友，它将陪伴我的一生一世!它也是我永远的最好的朋友，我不仅在电脑上交了许多朋友，还让我的学习成绩提高了许多。
