Which is more important in life, cooperating with others, or selecting competition? The answer may vary from person to person. They like working alone and competing with others. In my opinion, I think cooperation is more important than competition in modern life.

It is true that the modern society is a highly competitive society, but it also needs social cooperation. It helps bring individual abilities into full play and makes up for each other’s inadequacy. As an old saying goes, “Two heads are better than one.” Cooperation is especially necessary because we can not achieve anything if there are only competition and no cooperation in many cases. But some others hold different opinion. They think cooperation is as important as competition. They base their opinion on the following reasons: on one hand, cooperation can build trust between each other and help to bring long-term relationship; on another hand, cooperation can turn a small and weak business into a big and strong one.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that both competition and cooperation are essential to success and thus should be emphasized at the same time.

随让这次考试以微弱的差距超过了他，但我也不是特别高兴，因为我们还有的较量呢!从一年级到五年级我也了解了他的成绩，作文和语文基础一直是他的弱点，当然我也没占多少便宜，我有时的作文写偏题和题目不新颖的问题也是常常困扰着我，最主要的是我做题不细致，如果我能再仔细考虑下题，多想想怎么写更恰当，怎么写更好，那么我的成绩不但会提高，我和他的差距也一定会拉开。

我休息时，他在奔跑，我奔跑时他也在奔跑，我还得加倍努力，改正自身的缺点，才能更上一层楼。游州，我一定会超过你!

虽然我们在学习上你争我夺，可我们在生活中的友谊是十分深厚的。一起打篮球，一起聊天，一起玩…。.我们在一起的时光都是在欢乐中度过的。我们是形影不离的好朋友。

游州，让我们都改正自己的缺点，努力学习，来一场真正的较量吧!

一位环境新闻工作者在《鹿和狼的故事》中举了一个例子：二十世纪初，美国总统罗斯福想让凯巴佰森林里的鹿得到有效地保护，于是宣布将此地划为保护区，并决定由政府雇猎人去消灭鹿的天敌狼。二十五年过去了，狼等凶残动物所剩无几。鹿大量繁殖，很快超过了10万头，森林中一切能被鹿吃的东西都难逃厄运，生态遭到严重破坏，鹿面临着饥饿和疾病。没过多少年，整个凯巴佰森林就只剩下8000只病鹿在苟延残喘。

由此，我还想起母亲老屋里猫和老鼠的故事：老屋里有老鼠，回家时，半夜经常在我的床头闹腾；母亲同时也养了一只猫，一日三餐都准时来要猫食，它明知屋里有老鼠也不愿尽职尽责。一次我设法把它关在屋里，希望能对老鼠起到震慑作用，无奈这个懒奸还是设法遛走。究其原因，长期的养尊处优，它完全不必捉老鼠就可以养的肥头大耳，何必操那份心呢？没有生存危机，它完全可以懒政、怠政，玩忽职守。

上述例子告诉我们，自然界中的名种生物相互制约、相互联系，共同维持着生态平衡，我们不能一相情愿地改变它的构成和食物链。动物如此，人类亦然。人，是在与对手的竞争中成长进步的，国家，是在同对手竞争中发展壮大的。

想我泱泱大国，过去长期闭关锁国，导致积贫积弱。历代封建统治者，一旦得了皇位，便君临天下，至高无上了，别国怎么搞，与我何干？从来没有想到与别的国家，别的民族竞争，殊不知就在自己坐井观天，自鸣得意之时，倭寇轻而易举地就摧毁了满清的北洋舰队，八国联军长驱直入烧毁夷平了皇家颐和园，中国在与蛮夷外族的较量中屡遭失败。。

在大锅饭的年代，由于没有竞争，缺乏激励机制，干好干坏一个样，干多干少没大区别，人们出工不出力，当一天和尚撞一天钟，因而不能从根本上解决中国人的吃饭问题。后来改革开放，农村实行包产到户，大家想方设法朝富裕路上奔。实行市场经济后，面对世界上强大的对手，竞争激烈了，有着悠久历史和灿烂文化的中华民族才真正成为腾飞的巨龙。

没有狮子，羚羊永远也跑不快。真正激励一个人不断成功的不是鲜花和掌声，不是亲人和朋友的溢美之词，而是那些可以置人绝路的打击和挫折，以及那些一直想把你打败的对手。

一个人的成功很多时候都是因为竞争对手的存在，有了竞争对手，我们就会时时鞭策自己，不敢怠慢。

我有一个学习上的竞争对手，虽然他并不是全班第一名，但对于我来说，他却是一个强有力的竞争对手，我仍得和他展开激烈的角逐。 这位竞争对手的特长是数学。他好像是一台高级电子计算机，脑子里存有许多数学公式，熟知很多几何、代数的概念，并且善于将其用于解题之中，所以，他的数学成绩一直很好。 记得上学期的一节数学课上，老师在黑板上写下了一道比较复杂的因式分解题，要求我们利用公式来分解。这么长的代数式，别说分解了，我连看都没看过。大家都在苦思冥想，我也在脑子里竭力地寻觅 (解法)，可就是想不起来。正在大家百思不得其解的时候，他举手了。

看他那胖胖的脸_上流露出来的自信，好像已稳操胜券了。我有点不服气:别人都没有想出来，难道你能想到吗?但是，他站起来之后，没像别人那样先“嗯”上儿声，而是直截地说:“我们可以用这一个公式……”接下来，就是他那流利的声音。- 个我闻所未闻的代数公式被他说了出来，他背公式时情坦然，语调平静，如数家珍。这与人家苦思冥想又无所得成了一个鲜明的对比。

台上，数学老师面微笑，频频点头;台下，全班同学无不对他投来钦的目光。从此，他名声大振，真是一鸣惊人。 正因为他的数学造诣〔功底〕比较深，我才把他为自己的竞争对手。我对他是既佩服又不服气，这次数学小测验，我都暗暗跟他竟争，结果我总是败。他虽然胜了，却从不自满，还是那么刻苦。我也极“备战”。到底鹿死谁手呢?还是等中考后再见分吧! 噢，说了半天，还没告诉你他的名字呢。我的竞争对手呀，叫孙竞。

在我读小学的时候，老师跟我们分配对手，我的对手也就是我的好朋友。只要我们俩个人哪个分数低于对手，就会先批评对手，再教他怎样做。

记得第一次考试时，我们俩共同复习，在考试前还说不能写错一些简单的题目。考试后我们互相问了问，都觉得考得不错，当试卷发下来时，让我惊呆的是我们的分数居然同样。我心里很不服气，第一次考试就成了平手了，看来得努力。就这样我们俩抱着这样的心态想超过对手，学习成绩也随着不断地提升。我们俩最后迎来了第二次考试，我的分数比他高0.5分，是因为有一题忘记做了。我拿着试卷来批评他，他还不服气的说：“别得意，下次看你还笑得出来不。”

尽管我们俩学习上是对手，可这丝毫不会影响到我们之间真诚的友谊。在生活上我们形影不离，不管玩什么游戏都一齐分享彼此之间的快乐。记得在打乒乓球的时候，我比他要强得多，那天下午我在一个球桌上打球，来一个球我就抽一个，简直不爽了，看他那样貌，我就教他怎样打，什么叫好球！此刻他的实力比一般的球手都要强多了。但比起我来始终都要若些，此刻虽然没有以前抽得那样爽快，但也能跟我打上几个回合了。

虽然，此刻我们读六年级了，但也经常一齐打球，切磋球技，我们俩虽然是学习上的对手，但也是生活上的伙伴。
