I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

I have been studying Chinese for one year now. I am not sure what level I belong to. I was told that there will be an HSK test in our university in September. I am planning to attend the test. Here is a difference between science and technology.Science is a method of

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. i wake up 11 oclock am everyday, after a washing, i have a good lunch with my parents. next i play computer games till the time to have supper. after have dinner. i go on playing till 2 oclock am, and then go to sleep with tired. this is one dull day of my winter vacation.

年前的一天游乐真是无比开心啊，离开的时候我们都说回广州前再来多一次，不过一定要记得带多套衣服。这是我的大年里的其中一天。只有在过年的时候，一家人在一起的时候，才是最开心的。

年初一早上，我穿上新衣服和爸爸妈妈去拜年。然后，我就和刘明宇、陈恒、王翔等几个好朋友在楼下玩划炮，轻轻地一划，划炮就着了，我飞快地把划炮扔向远处，然后用双手捂住耳朵，不几秒钟划炮就响了。我们几个还发明了划炮新玩法：把几个划炮头对头摆成花的形状，然后用香轻轻一点，划炮就噼里啪啦的响了。我们还在一起玩窜天猴，用香轻轻一点，窜天猴就“嗖”的一下窜到天上去了，不一会儿窜天猴就“啪”的响了。

过年真好啊！有好玩的鞭炮、划炮、窜天猴、烟花；还有好吃的年糕、团圆饺子……我喜欢过年。

“噼里啪啦”的一阵爆竹声，把我从沉沉的美梦中唤醒。原来是爷爷在院子里放鞭爆呢。 "crackling" firecracker sounds wake me up from the deep dream of dreams.It turned out that Grandpa put a whip in the yard.

过一会儿，爷爷走到我床前，“凡凡，起来，喝口糖水，祝愿你一年的生活都甜如蜜。”我乖乖地喝了一口红糖茶，嘴巴里立刻变得甜丝丝的。我想再睡会儿，爷爷说云云马上要来我家拜年了。太好了!一想到云云要来，我赶紧起床，我可不想等云云来了，我还赖在床上呢。我穿上粉色的羽绒服，黑裤黑靴子，妈妈给我扎了两个朝天辫，爸爸在一旁说：“乖乖，凡凡都像个大姑娘了，真漂亮。”

等我忙完一切，云云和她爸爸已经走进了爷爷的院子，天哪!云云今天更漂亮，大红的棉袄上面印着一个个长耳朵的小白兔，下面穿着粉色的裙子。云云一进门就说：“祝凡凡妹妹越来越美丽。”我赶紧拿出早为云云准备好的礼物—一盒德芙巧克力，包装袋里也有一只可爱的小兔哦。顺嘴说出：“恭喜叔叔工作顺利，祝云云姐学习更进步。”

我们俩走到爷爷奶奶跟前，说：“恭喜爷爷奶奶身体健康，万事如意。”爷爷笑着说：“祝你们俩像小兔子一样越蹦越高。”说着就发给我们一人一个大红包。我们俩一拿到红包，就赶紧出门找小伙伴们玩去喽。

一出家门，来到小巷口，正好看到一群小伙伴正在放爆竹。我跃跃试试，可又有点胆小，心想：万一刚点着就炸到我怎么办?不过，我还是战战兢兢地抽出第一支掼炮，点燃后把它抛出老远，然后掉头就跑，躲在墙角边，用力捂住耳朵。云云在一旁看到我这个胆小样子，和别的小伙伴们一起大笑起来，我觉得很没面子。就奔回家特地找了一个长长的烟花来炫耀，我用火柴点燃后“轰”地一声响，小伙伴们都吓了一跳，而我却从容地拿着烟花，得意洋洋地笑着，那个感觉可真叫爽啊!

不一会儿，我和伙伴们又一起玩起了鞭炮、烟花，我们一个个激动地叫喊着、奔跑着。真希望新年里的每一天都像今天一样热闹精彩啊!
