During the month of the twelfth month, my hometown is beginning to smell the Spring Festival. The things that are used for Chinese New Year, the simple thing is the annual goods.

The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. And during my winter vacation, we welcome the most important festival in

China—Spring Festival, it’s also called Chinese New Year by lots of

foreigners.

At that night, our family came together and had a big meal. Of course we

广州人都有喝早茶的爱好。大年初一一早，我就和表姑奶奶一家来到了有名的白天鹅宾馆喝早茶。走了一段很漂亮的滨江走廊进入了宾馆大厅，我完全被眼前景色吸引住了。一株盛开满粉红色花朵的梅花灿烂地傲立在大厅中央，四周摆放着五颜六色的小盆景，旁边是一辆红得非常耀眼的跑车，车身印有几只可爱的小猪，我正羡慕地盯看，表姑奶奶似乎看透了我的心思，意味深长地对我说：“这么喜欢就好好学习，长大了有本事也能拥有。”我不好意思但深有感触地笑着走向那小小世外桃园般的假山，人造瀑布从假山最上端悬空而下，气势磅礴，假山上红花绿草，春意盎然;红的、白的、黄的、五彩的金鱼条条色彩鲜艳、体态肥硕，在假山下的水池里畅游， 尽情地享受着这人造美景。

下午，我们来到了广州最有代表性的公园——越秀公园。进入大门，我们就沿着山路直奔五羊雕像。路边的竹林绿得醉人，随风而来一阵阵自然的清香，让人不知疲倦地就来到了五羊雕像。表姑奶奶向我介绍说：“广州也叫羊城，这五羊雕像就是广州的标志。”突然间，我对这高高在上的“五羊”有了说不出的敬意。

晚上，我们还逛了花街，逛花街是广州人春节的一大习俗，大街上花海人海交错，热闹非凡，我们挤身其中，快乐无比。

Last Sunday, Jack had a relaxing Sunday. He got up 6 o’clock. After breakfast, Jack played basketball with his friends. They were very happy. Then he played the guitar in the room. with their best wishes in the brand-new year. We all celebrated this festival

with plenty of food and fun. The most important and traditional food on the

Lantern Festival is Tang-yuan. With sweet and soft rice outside and peanuts or

sesame inside, this little rice ball stand for the happy reunion, and the best

wish for the whole families. Apart from having dinner with parents and

relatives, there are also lots of activities on that day. The Lantern shows as

well as guessing riddles are part of the Lantern Festival; and the most

interesting part of the show is that the riddles are written on the Lantern.

After dinner, the whole families go to the lantern fair, to enjoy the happiness

in this moment.

In every city, there are always a main street known for its lantern fair,

on that special day, the street will become as bright as daylight in the night

with myriads of lanterns and streams of spectators. At this moment, the

happiness in the heart is beyond all description. By watching various lanterns,

eating sweet Tang Yuan, and hanging out with the people we love, thinking of the

bright future in front of us. It’s worth everything.

“噼哩啪啦，噼哩啪啦。”我被一阵阵莫名奇妙的声音惊醒了，开始我还以为然而闹钟，心想：“这天怎样试这铃！”睁眼才反应过来，这天然而春节，那声音然而烟花爆竹声。有的像开在天上的花儿，有的像切成一半的西瓜，还有的像一张可爱的笑脸，各种各样的形状，美极啦 ！

吃完早饭，我和弟弟就迫不及待的起程了。去干什么？当然然而去拜年了！说一句辞旧迎新的吉利话，还会有不小的“收获”呢！“我长大了，压岁钱不要了！”见一位aunt要给我钱，我连忙表示不要了。哪知他却说：“长大啦？好呀！再来10元！”春节这天，家家户户披红挂绿；“噼哩啪啦，噼哩啪啦”烟花爆竹声不断；节目也开始啦！这天的空气中除了节味儿，就然而年味儿！

春节这股暖风来得快，走得也快。春节虽然已过，但余波仍然存在。节时的那股年味还未散尽，但新的太阳已经升起，应对我们的然而新的一天。

春节，它让我明白了自我又长了一岁，职责又多了一成。新年新气象；新年新挑战；期望在牛年里我会“更牛”
