take a visit. One of the famous sites is the Statue of Liberty. Everybody knows

this great site and it has become the symbol of New York.

The Statue of Liberty stands on an island of the New York City harbor. It

is the tallest building ever built. When people get there, they will see a woman

holding a torch of fire. In her feet, people can see the chains that are broken,

which means she gets away from the restrictions and chases for freedom. There is

a book on her right hand, which is the Declaration of Independence.

The complete name of this statue is Liberty Enlightening the World. It is

the present from French people to American people. The meaning of friendship and

image.

Many years ago, when scientists tried to make a robot to do some human

work, they could never thought about how far the robot could go. Today, some

scientists even predict that the wisdom of robot will surpass human being and

On Saturday morning I always have English classes at school. I study hard in the classroom. In the afternoon I often play computer games. On Sunday morning I often draw pictures. 一年三百六十五天，今天，是最后一天，也就是春节，人人都沉浸在欢乐声中，家家户户贴对联，放鞭炮来庆祝这一天。

今天，就是大年三十，家家户户庆团圆，我的爸爸老妈从遥远的南京日夜兼程乘上飞奔的火车，风尘朴朴，赶到家里，还有大姨夫、小姨夫都来到家里，全家人合家欢乐。丰盛的晚餐，有团圆八宝饭，有爸爸做的盐水鸭，还有外婆做的红烧鱼，还有我在小记者活动中学会的欢喜圆，满桌的山珍海味，美味佳肴，大家吃得津津有味，并且举杯祝福外公外婆万事如意，外公祝我与姐姐、弟弟好好学习，天天向上。大家在这喜气洋洋的欢乐声中渡过了愉快的春节。

现在过年，吃主要节目之一。在除夕夜，全家都回来团聚，大家围在桌边一起吃年夜饭是最幸福的了。吃完年夜饭后还要看《春节联欢晚会》这都是必不可少的。

在我老家过年还有一个有趣的节目。院子里洒满了芝麻秸儿，我们在上面踩的咯吱咯吱响，这叫“踩岁”;闹得筋疲力尽，睡前给大人请安，这叫“辞岁”;大人们就要拿出钱给我们，这叫“压岁”。

到了晚上，就要放爆竹，“冲天炮”、“狗尾草”、“扇子”都是孩子们喜欢的，从除夕夜到天亮彻夜不绝。

好了，不多说了，我要去吃年夜饭了。
