让优秀坚持下去

把机会让给他

下午上了一节令人震撼的语文公开课，不仅因为老师和同学们精彩的配合，更是因为那个多次发言的禹(同学们说他外刚内萌，感觉很有趣)。在这节课快要下课时，老师再次点到了他，但他并没有急于回答，而是说：老师，我把这个机会让给我的同桌，因为他也总举手，可是一次机会也没有得到。顿时，听课的老师们被禹的回答说笑了，包括安老师也包括我，这个笑绝对不是嘲笑，也不是搞笑，而是一种欣慰的笑，一种赞赏的笑。在大家都急于表现自己的时候，禹的这种友情、这种谦让，让所有人为他竖起大拇指，又怎能不令我感动呢?

春节是一年里最隆重的节日，春节是小孩子最喜欢的节日，春节是家人团圆的日子。

大年三十的上午，爸爸带着我和妈妈 妹妹一起回到了爷爷奶奶家，一路上我们开车走过了重山峻岭，冬日里的风景也非常的漂亮。一路上我们走了将近4个小时的路程才回到了老家，美丽的小村庄到处洋溢着节日的气氛，而爷爷奶奶早已在大门口等着我们了。

天渐渐的暗了下来，到了晚上我们全家一起热热闹闹的吃了个团圆饭。大家吃的很开心，晚饭刚吃完，春节联欢晚会就开始了，这是我们每年都必看的节目，正看着节目的时候，只听噼呖啪啦的响了起来，我赶紧往屋外跑，只看到村庄上空燃放着美丽的焰火，漂亮极了，就这样除夕夜渐渐的过去了。

大年初一早上，我们早早的都起了床，爷爷给我和妹妹发了个大红包，我给爷爷说了：谢谢，新年快乐！而妹妹则是开心的笑了起来。

在家的这几天，我一直都在放炮，我放的有大红鹰，路球炮，一气冲天，七彩陀螺。我先放了一个大红鹰，点了一个，果然出现了一只红鹰，我又放了一个足球炮，就像火山爆发一样，到了晚上我又放了一个七彩陀螺，哇！就像一个彩虹。我又放了个一气冲天它飞到空中就变成花落了下来。

一年当中最重要的节日就非春节莫属了，在春节那天，人们会开开心心地回老家吃团圆饭，放烟花爆竹，要压岁钱。

20__年的过去，也意味着20__年的到来。宋代诗人王安石的【元日】写得好：爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。千门万户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符。

刚吃过晚饭，我就拿着早已准备好的烟花爆竹和妹妹一起冲到大门口。我把大爆竹“恐龙瀑布”点燃之后，就站在一边，准备看美丽的烟花。我们静静地等待着，突然“乓”地一声，烟花飞上了天，随即又发出“噼里啪啦"的声音，烟花一个个地飞上了天，有的像个妙龄少女在跳舞，有的像花朵一样绽开了花苞，有的像火箭，直冲云霄……我望着这美丽的烟花入了神，直到妹妹让我帮她点“小炮"时，我才反应过来。我帮妹妹点燃之后，也帮自己点了一根。时间一分一秒地过去，小炮"里的“子弹”终于“飞”了出来。妹妹提议道：”我们来场比赛，比看谁让“子弹”飞得远。“好。”我立马答应。我用所学的知识，将小炮调成近似45度角，妹妹则调成20几度，结果刚飞出去就掉了下来，打到了木头上。而我的则“飞"出了好远，大约有8米的距离。我大声说：“我赢了。”妹妹不服，说：“我用‘大炮’，你用‘小炮’，看谁‘飞’的距离远。”我依照她的意思，将她的“大炮”点燃，自己又点燃一根“小炮”。第一局，我虽还是近似45度角，可妹妹的“大炮”冲击力强，所以我输了。后来的几局，我集合全部精力，超越了她的“大炮”，飞出了十几米之外的大树上。妹妹说：“嘿嘿，今年我输了，明年可不一定会输了。”

过年真幸福!

除夕是人们最爱过的节日，那一天，人们欢聚一堂。饭桌上，到处是酒肉的香味。现在，就让我来为大家说说除夕那天我是怎么过的吧！

我去了奶奶家过除夕，我又见到我的小妹霏霏了。她真是小巧玲珑，天真可爱！我们在奶奶家里玩了一个下午，真是太快乐了！

到了晚上，爸爸和叔叔下楼去放鞭炮。他们把鞭炮挂在了树枝上，然后叔叔拿出了一个打火机，点燃了鞭炮。只听“噼啪，噼啪，噼啪”地声响，那声音真是太刺耳了，可是小妹却拍手叫好，可能是小孩都喜欢这种声音吧！

放完鞭炮后，我们就吃饭了。饭菜真是太丰盛了，有十样菜，知道为什么做十样菜吗？因为过年要十全十美嘛！我们大家边吃饭边喝饮料庆祝，大家一齐动碗筷，那声音多么清脆啊！

过了一会儿，我又回家去陪姥姥过年了。晚上我们又一起包饺子，一起吃饺子，又看春节联欢晚会，真是太热闹了！又过了一会儿，我就进入了梦乡。

当暮色笼罩了整个天空，繁星闪烁的时候，冒着冬天的寒风，迎来了一个热闹的夜晚。一个个灯笼在房前屋后游动。这里到处都洋溢着除夕之夜的气氛。

该是合家团聚，共进晚餐的时候了，村子已不见那袅袅炊烟，路上的行人已寥寥无几。哦，人们都在尽情地他享节日的快乐。

我和爸爸刚刚放过鞭炮，我们全家便围坐在丰盛的酒席旁。全家人端起杯子在电视机和音乐中畅快痛饮。玫瑰色的葡萄酒啊!你不就是辞旧迎新的象征吗?

除夕之夜，人人心情舒畅，个个面带笑容，真是“四时花似锦，万众面皆春。”就连平时总爱生闲气的奶奶变得像小孩子一样爱笑，爸爸脸上也展开了少见的笑纹。

年饭过后，我便和爸爸妈妈一起包饺子。这是为新年准备的第顿早餐。大家边包饺子，边看春节联欢晚会，解放军叔叔用那男子汉粗犷的歌喉，表达了对亲人的怀念和对祖国人民的美好祝愿。

我的眼睛湿润了，不知是被那些真挚的歌声感染，还是对叔叔那勇于献身的精神所敬佩。是啊，我们之所以能幸福地在一起吃年夜饭，包饺子，平安地学习，工作。这不都是与解放军叔叔们吃苦，牺牲紧密相连吗?

解放军叔叔们把自己的绚丽青春献给了保卫祖国的伟大事业，把和平的生活留给了我们。真是“亏了我一人，幸福十亿人”啊!

Your letter and package reached me yesterday. You really give me a great surprise. I was wondering what was in such a nice package until I carefully opened it and found that you sent me an attractive present for my birthday. Thank you very much for your kindness, and I like the present, which will give me pleasure for a long time to come.

Again it is thoughtful of you to send me the present on my birthday. Yesterday evening my colleagues held a birthday party for me, including John Liu---I think you can remember---a nice tall boy, who invited you and I to his birthday last October. We enjoyed ourselves, and all of us mentioned your stay with us. We hope that you will come to China soon, if possible.

今年除夕，叔叔、伯伯、阿姨全家到我家一起吃年夜饭，所以我和爸爸的任务就是把家整理干净，贴福字和春联，爸爸说这叫“除旧布新”。

I love my school so much, because of the beautiful environment. The first

春节啊，春节，你快点到来吧!

过春节不仅可以无拘无束的玩，放松，还可以收到大把大把的压岁钱呢!这也是我喜欢春节的理由。

过春节了，大人们都把压岁钱装进红包里面。大年三十出门的时候放在口袋里，给亲戚拜年如果看见了小孩子的话就给一个红包，小孩子都乐得合不拢嘴!但是有一年春节，我因为没有听得懂一句话，差点儿把一百元的压岁钱又还给了大姨奶奶去了。

事情是这样的：不只是某年某月某日正在过春节，我在房间里和小妹妹玩，大人们在外面聊天。突然，大姨奶奶走进了房间，给了个红包给妹妹，没有给我，我眼睁睁的看着，难免有点眼红嘛!过了一会儿，大姨奶奶“如梦初醒”才发现我，赶紧从口袋里拿出了一百元塞到我手里。

这张一百元没有用红包包起来，大姨奶奶问我：“包，还是不包?”这不是废话吗!压岁钱不报给小孩装在口袋里好玩啊?我干脆的说：“包!”然后她又问了一次，我说：“包!”后来我一直说“包”，大姨奶奶反而把钱拿走了，我很纳闷?过了不久，她又把一个红包给我，等她走后，我拿起红包打开一看，一百元压岁钱放在了里面，原来是我误会了，大姨奶奶是把钱装红包里去了。

其实压岁钱哪怕是一元两元都好，我要的是这份乐趣，这份心，不是钱!

我盼望已久的春节终于到来了。每到春节全家人就会团聚在一起，特别热闹。而且，春节一到姥姥就会精心做上十几道美味佳肴，想到这我的口水就要流下来了。

春节这天我起的特别早，天还没亮，我就穿好新衣裳迎接这美好的一天。姥爷姥姥起得比我还早，厨房里是他们忙碌的身影。早饭我专门只吃了一点点，留着肚子中午吃多点。

But i havent bored all the time. sometimes i read the books, sometime i listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. and i also meat some of my good friends during the vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether. and i watched the spring festival party of the cctv in the last seconds of the 2004 year! i think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

According to a recent article on Newsweek concerning children’s’ education,

there is an increasing number of parents worrying their kids to an extreme

extent, depriving them of independence and freedom by keeping them around

parents all the time.

Some people applaud this phenomenon, suggesting that kids’ safety is the

most important. Thus, they’d better not enter the hazardous society without

supervision unless they become adults. From my point of view, some of their

opinion is correct but keeping children away from independence is a completely

erroneous decision. The reasons are as follows:

First and foremost, “locking kids” may hinder their healthy growth, both

mentally and physically. The kids who are locked may have heavy reliance on

their parents, as their comprehensive skills such as communication skills or

cooperative spirit being prevented from developing.

Secondly, what these parents fail to see is the fact that the crime rate

and accidents aren’t on a rapid rise. It is the abuse of mass media that make

crimes and violence more scary. The parents, who love their kids so much, are

completely forced to live under the illusion that our society is full of riots

or threats of accidents. Thus, kids can be allowed to have more freedom such as

walking to school by himself, for instance.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that

kids should be given more freedom by parents’ effort. At the same time, parents

should take many factors into consideration such as the time restriction for

children and the evaluation to kids’ maturity and capability. Only then can they

enjoy a safe and meaningful childhood.
