从学校出发走了大约半个小时的路，我们就来到了烈士陵园。进入烈士陵园，转了个弯后，我们就看到了一个被白色大理石围栏围着的水池。在水池的中央有一个石砌平台，平台上矗立着一座高大的英雄纪念碑。上边镌刻着八个金光闪闪的大字——革命烈士永垂不朽。我们少先队员向这纪念碑行了少先队礼，而还没有入少先队的同学则向纪念碑行了注目礼。行完礼后，老师们为新加入少先队的新队员一一戴上鲜艳的红领巾，并带他们一起宣誓。在新少先队员入队后，校长做了一次演讲，她为我们讲了革命先烈的丰功伟绩，并告诉我们，没有这些革命先烈的牺牲就没有我们今天的幸福生活。我怀着异常崇高而激动的心情在烈士碑前进行了演讲。演讲过后，面对着这无眠的烈士，我思绪万千、我心存怀念、我深情品读、我永远铭记；我怀念哪些为了我们今天幸福生活而捐躯的英雄；我们品读革命志士的信仰、坚贞、崇高和不朽；我们铭记源远流长而又不屈不挠的民族精神。

最后，我们为革命先烈献上了一朵朵表达自己敬意的小白花。眼前浮现出这样一幕：硝烟弥漫，枪林弹雨。炮声、枪声、喊杀声、号令声此起彼伏，一名烈士双手紧紧地握住了敌人刺刀的刀尖，献血从手上流下来，滴在了黄土地上。他已经身中数弹，仍在拼命杀敌，战场上不断传出敌人的嚎叫声……

鲜艳的红领巾在我胸前飘扬，我心潮澎湃，感慨万千：时间在流逝，时代在变迁，我们可以自豪地告诉先烈：我们将继承革命先烈的遗志，奋发图强，努力学习，为新中国的建设贡献出自己的力量。
