April 5th, people start to visit their ancestors’ tombs. Generally speaking,

people will bring the home-made food, some fake money and paper-made mansion to

their ancestors. When they start to honour their ancestor, they will light up

some candles and incense, put some flowers around the tombs. The most important

thing is to put the home-made food in front of the tombs. The food, also known

as sacrifices, is usually made up with a chicken, a fish and some pork. It’s a

symbol of the offspring’s respect to the ancestors. People believe that the

forbears will share the food with them. The children dedicate the food and money

to their forbears in order to show their love and caring. The young offspring

will go down on their knees and pray for their ancestors. They can say their

wishes in front of the tombs and the ancestors will make their dreams come

true.

In some provinces of China, people use different activities to commemorate

this day, for instance, spring-outing, swinging, tree planting and making

it into small balls. The Ay Tsao rice ball is done. People believe that eating

爱情这件事

很多时候，爱情就像是毒品，让人上瘾。很多时候，爱情就像是毒药，让你痛不欲生。

在和第一任交往的时候，还记得那是大一刚入学，还带着懵懂无知的少年，怀揣着对美好爱情的向往，认识到了你。

很是庆幸，因为在最美好的年华，遇到了自己真正喜欢的人。

我的世界因为有了你，变得更加温暖。我们一起出去吃饭，互相调侃，一起睡在一起玩游戏，相拥睡去。点点滴滴，至今，还雕刻在我的心里。

说起遗憾，情侣之间，不可避免的总会有小打小闹，而刚接触爱情的我，不懂人情世故，和你相处，一不开心，就会沉默以对，现在想来，我厌恶那个时候我不解决问题的态度，因为在爱情里，不管什么矛盾，不去解决，只一味地逃避，结局都是矛盾越发的被激化。

果不其然，因为之前一直有很多的小矛盾。那天下着雨，我在你下班时间过来找你，我以为你会等我，结果没有，你自己先回去了，我很不开心，我依然还是沉默了，你问我为什么不开心，我不愿意说。最后我开口了，说出了原因。你和我解释，雨下的大，你没带伞，只能拿着快递盒顶着头上，跑回来了。可是回忆起了之前的各种相处的不开心，我心里萌生了分手的冲动，我还是说出了那三个字，你沉默了……

你在屋外抽了一根又一根的香烟，我看出了你的不舍，可不知道为什么，我竟然还是铁了心，没有挽留，有的只有内心的纠结与矛盾，和分手时的洒脱。

之后的一天天，我们还是有联系，互相寒暄，但我始终不愿意复合，我害怕死灰复燃，我主动删除了你，之后我后悔了。或许双鱼座的人都是很“贱癌入骨”。

真心爱过的人永远都放不下，忘不了。

现在看，我们的故事是一年前了，但我回想起我们的那段记忆，我依然会有很多的愧疚和自责感。我愧疚的是没有以你对我的好来去回应你，自责自己在爱情出现矛盾的时候，只会选择沉默逃避，而把这些都留给你去揣摩。如果，还能选择，我一定会好好珍惜你。

Nowadays,there is a increasing number for people to join in the activities

of volunteering.Its well-known that volunteering job is making contribution to

the society with nothing in return.Its like the Leifeng spirit.However,knowing

this,there are still many people would like to devote themseves in this

trend.For instance,the 20__ Beijing Olympic Games has so many volunteers.They

made lots of contribution to the success of opening the Olympics.Moreover,we can

often see that there many students go to geroium to visit the old to bring warm

to the lonely people.Even there are some peoples career is volunteer.They are

ready to help others.Although the volunteers are much more mon,we still need to

thanks them to admire them devoting themseves to the society.

“草树知春不久归，百般红紫斗芳菲。”春天来临，一年一度的清明节转眼就到了。此时春光明媚，我、表弟安安还有外公要去山上扫墓。

一路上风景优美。“你好，你好!”小花、小草伸着懒腰，向过路的人挥着手，打着招呼。“欢迎，欢迎!”一眼望去，各色的无名花竞相开放，白色的蝴蝶在花丛中翩翩起舞，小鸟儿也叽叽喳喳地在歌颂春天的到来。但这美丽的风景却无法抚慰人们对逝去亲人的思念。

外公边走边给我讲起了这清明节的传说。那是春秋时期，晋公子重耳为逃避迫害而流亡国外，眼看重耳饿得都快要晕过去了，介子堆割下了自己的肉，放进了野菜汤里。19年后，重耳做了国君，重赏了当时的随臣，却忘了介子堆。介子推遂认为自己无功，即使自己不割肉，晋文公一样会被别人帮助当上国君。于是背着老母亲隐入山中。重耳听说后，放火烧森林，原以为他能出来，却不见身影，于是上山找他，终于找到了他和母亲的尸体。他为之感动，于是定4月4日是寒食节，4月5日是清明节。

穿过一条条杂草丛生的小路，我们终于到了祖坟。“咚、咚、咚……”一阵金属落地声震耳欲聋。我定睛一看，原来是大人们在用锄头仔细地清理祖坟旁的杂草，一根根一片片的杂草很快就被清理得干干净净，映入眼帘的是巨大的墓碑。我们开始缅怀、祭祀祖先，只见大人们先摆上香蜡、贡品，再拿着香叩拜三次。轮到我和表弟了，我让表弟先拜，平时滑稽可爱的他单手拿着香，身体呈90度鞠躬，弯腰三次，显得十分认真而且虔诚。

礼毕，我们坐在山坡上，一眼望去，还有许多人三五成群地赶上山去，他们神情黯淡。思绪飘回了亲人和他们在一起的欢乐时光。他们手棒黄色、白色的花朵以表怀念，整只队伍像军队那样庄严。

“清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂”。前几日下了一场春雨，泥土中依然散发着的芬芳使人心旷神怡!我闻到了，那分明是思念的味道……

My Mother isa kind and gentle woman.She is always very gentle.She takes

good care of her children and keeps them all at school.I have one brother and

two sistets.So she gets four children in all.She gives us every comfort.We all

i teach economics at unlv three times per week. last monday, at the beginning of class, i cheerfully asked my students how their weekend had been. one young man said that his weekend had not been so good. he had his wisdom teeth removed. the young man then proceeded to ask me why i always seemed to be so cheerful.

the secretarys eyes opened wide, and then she smiled. i smiled back and headed for class." so ended my story.

i scanned the sixty faces in my economics class at unlv. despite the early hour, no one seemed to be asleep. somehow, my story had touched them. or maybe it wasnt the story at all. in fact, it had all started with a students observation that i was cheerful.

我扫视了一下全班六十张脸。虽然是在大清早，但没有一个学生在打盹儿。不知道为什么，他们好像被我的故事触动了。也许触动他们的并不是故事本身。其实，从一开始有学生发现我兴致高昂的时候，他们便已经被我的快乐感染了。
