Dear Mr. Wang,

Thank you for a rapid response to our invitation. Enclosed you will find an outline of events to take place during International Week here at the University of Montana. I will also list a number of possible speaking engagements so that you can choose those things in which you are most interested. As far as topics are concerned, the topics for classroom visits are generally determined by the professor, but most professors are very flexible. We have approximately thirty-five faculty members that teach courses in Asian Studies, ranging from language and culture to history and economics.

Here is a tentative schedule:

Sunday, April 8th

10 am - Cultural Exhibition opens

12 am - International Festival begins with a speech by the university president and an introduction of visiting dignitaries

1-5 pm - Opportunity to visit festival, interact with student performers, taste foods

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

As you can see, there is tremendous interest in China here at the University of Montana. Please let me know if this outline suits your purpose, and if not, please dont hesitate to offer any suggestions for changes. We can arrange as many or as few speaking engagements as you have time for.

我与她是邻居，也是无话不谈的好朋友，经常一起上学、一起放学。一双水灵灵的大眼睛，小巧的鼻子，一张总是在笑的嘴巴凑成了她那精致的脸庞。

我和她每天形影不离，当然有时也闹矛盾。一次我们结伴回家路上，耳边不时传来一阵细小的声音，她寻声而去：原来是一只受伤的小狗，小狗的一只腿无力的下垂着，无助的眼神似乎在告诉我们：救救我吧。

“不会是想把它带回家吧？”我心里揣摩着。“欣，我们把它带回家吧，它好可怜。”一听她这话，我都有点结巴了。“不要就不要，装什么结巴”，说完，她抱起小狗嘟着小嘴走了，留下孤零零的我。

那天晚上我哭了许久：难道我们之间的友谊就这样结束了吗？我还是接受小狗吧，妈妈应该不会太生气。第二天，我还像往常一样去找她，“吱呀”门开了，只见她脸上还带着昨天梨花带雨的泪痕，眼睛肿得像个核桃。“……还是把小狗给我吧。”面对她，我有点退缩，但还是说了出来。我把小狗领回了家，令我诧异的是，妈妈不但没有批评我，反而很欣然地接受了它，在全家人的悉心照料下，小狗很快就康复了。

你或许会问她是谁，那我只能告诉你，她是我心底最深刻最甜蜜的回忆。

有一天，我在路上遇上一只小狗。看他的样子是走丢了，我决定帮它找主人。我仔细一看小狗脖子上挂着一块木牌，上面刻着紫山村。我再仔细一看，她的鼻子圆圆的，真可爱。我猜它在紫山村走丢的，我心想：“先把它带到家里吧!”。我把他带到家里，妈妈一看就说：“把它送回去。”

我偷偷的把它藏起来。第二天，我把它送到同学家，同学说：“不要!”。我抱着它走了。突然一个人走出说：“这是我的!”，我说：“原来是你的。哦!我送还给你了!”

小狗终于找到了主人。

春，是一个美好的季节。所有的一切，仿佛都能在这里重生。度过了冬天的严寒与压抑，春的温暖，让我的心得以重新释放。 spring is a beautiful season.Everything seems to be born here.After the severe cold and depression in winter, the warmth of spring allows my experience to release it again.

春，是美好的。和煦的春风，温暖的阳光，驱走了我心中的阴霾。看着满地鲜嫩的花朵，我，笑了。那是发自内心的，无任何杂念。世界在这一刻变的异常美好。

人，也有春天。那也是人一生中最美好，且最难以忘怀的时光。

童年，便是我们的春天，一生只有一次的春天。年幼无知的我们，没有任何生活上的压力，一切都那么自然。调皮，是我们的特权，谁也夺不去，带不走。卖萌，是我们的专利，一副人畜无害的样子，迷倒了多少人。这，是我们的权力。

走过无数个春秋，我们渐渐懂得了许多东西。视野开阔了的我们，我们却依旧这样。因为我们还未成年，玩耍是我们的天性。没有玩耍的童年，那不叫童年，那只能叫——小时候。就算是上了学，依旧这样，而且玩得更加开心，因为，伙伴多了。虽然偶尔闹点矛盾，但时间总不会太久。而现在，躺在绿油油的草地上，两眼望着天上漂浮的白云，那童年时的游戏，在今天看来，除了幼稚，就没有别的感情。这只能说，我们已没有了春天!

90后的我们，渐渐长大。即将成年的我们，面对着扑面而来的生活责任，往往不知所措。生活的压力，让我们的笑声越来越少。

春天渐渐远去，小鸟也已长大，我们也将步入成年。天上的风筝变得稀少了。风也变得严厉，没有了昔日的轻柔。躺在茂盛的草地上，感受着那灼热的阳光，再没了先前的那份惬意，有的，只是那一丝丝的厌烦。

秋天即将过去，冬天即将到来。感受着那刺骨的寒风，心里对春天的渴望愈加的强烈。冬天一过，便是春天。鸟语花香，百花争艳，这是先人前辈对春的理解。但，即使再美丽的春天，也给不了我们的.童年，因为，那是独一无二的。人一生最宝贵的时光，便是那短短的十几年，它带给我们的，其他人永远也给不了，也永远比不上。那，是我们的专利。

走过春天，才发现，我们得到了许多，但也失去了许多。美好的时光在我的脑海里回荡，童年，是那么的美好。

春，留下了我们的欢声笑语，也记下了我们成长的足迹!

December 25 is Christmas Day, the day is originates in the western country,

it is in honor of the birth of Jesus Christ. In the Bible, it is record that

Jesus saved people out of trouble, he is the son of god, he died of suffering

for the purpose of saving people. Jesus is so great, everyone in the western

country knows his story. Though Christmas Day belongs to foreign countries, now

it has become a worldwide festival. In China, we can find the day is more and

more popular, people find the Christmas tree sold in the shop and there are

parties to celebrate Christmas Day. On that day, families get together, having

dinner, eating turkey and sharing happiness. This is a good chance for people to

get reunion, this is the most important day for western people, just like

Chinese New Year.

We are going to the science museum tomorrow. There is an old thing show in the Museum. Do you know how we can get to the science museum?

The science museum is next to the People’s Park. It isn’t far from our school. So we can go there on foot .Walk straight to the west from our school, next turn left at the post office and walk for about 5 minutes, then turn right at traffic lights. You can find the People’s Park on the right . Walk straight, and you’ll see the science museum.

Although the winter vacation, I will continue my learning, in the morning,

is a good time to read, with the early morning, our family to read with relish,

three people has become a bookworm. Dad read the literary works such as crazy,

Winter vacation, there is a Spring Festival, this is my most happy moment.

The New Year, my father came back from the street to buy a dozen small red

prosperous". Mother, busy preparing for dinner, but rich, seafood, vegetables,

beef, little of course not a fish, in the traditional Chinese Spring Festival,

come back to the supermarket to buy necessities such as orange juice and

beer.

Winter vacation, I could have just like all the children have a blast, but

my eyesight is bad, only looking at the computer to buy, occasionally WangSha

春节，一个热闹团圆的节日。每个人对春节的感受都是不一样的，我眼中的春节，只有一个字——买。每年春节，都是商家做生意的时候，我的家人也都在买各种各样的东西。

还没有放假，妈妈就已经开始给一家人购买新衣服了。这时候，家里的快递一个接一个，我最喜欢帮妈妈拿包裹。包裹一到家，是我最兴奋的时候。妈妈拿出剪刀，小心翼翼地剪开上面的黏胶带，拿出衣服、鞋子、袜子……她都会一样一样，让我们试一试，一家人边看边说：“这件好!那件太小了!这件颜色漂亮……”这时候，奶奶总会说：“现在的娃娃真幸福，我们小时候哪有新衣服穿啊!”妈妈也会跟着说：“现在的孩子是幸福啊!我们小时候买一件衣服都要跑到城里，一年也就去一次。”我抱着新衣服哈哈大笑，边笑边说：“现在买衣服都不用出门了，衣服自己跑来了，哈哈!”一家人都开心地笑了。

临近年关，家里要购买的东西更多了。奶奶说：“过年了，家里一定要红红火火。”于是，对联写起来了，福字贴上门了，灯笼挂起来了，家里变得红红的。往年，家里还会准备炮仗、烟花，因为现在不允许了，今年就没买。我跟奶奶说：“这样，年兽也不敢跑进我们家了!”奶奶说：“是啊，现在日子好了，但是这风俗不能变!”

大年三十，爸爸妈妈会起个大早来到菜市场。这时候的菜市场，真是人山人海。买菜的人摩肩接踵，卖菜的人吆喝声此起彼伏，大家都挑选着家人喜欢的菜，也不问价格了，只管称了付钱，每个人脸上都是笑嘻嘻的。当然，咱们家年夜饭的菜还有好多也是网上买的。爸爸说：“现在跟以前可不一样了，咱们都能在网上买到活的生鲜了，不用去海边，照样吃新鲜的海鲜。”就这样，一顿丰盛的年夜饭摆上了桌，一家人围坐在一起，那才叫幸福!

正月初一开始，我们要去亲戚家拜年了。这时候，各种年货又要买起来了，手机一点，牛奶、补品、酒……大包小包装满后备箱，这都是新年的祝福。来到亲戚朋友家里，可以和其他小朋友一起玩游戏，一起聊聊天，真开心啊!大人们还会给我们红包呢!爸爸妈妈说，他们小时候红包也就几块钱，现在都是几百上千，这变化太大了。

过年了，一个“买”字，让我们感受到了，现在的生活越来越好了，买东西也越来越方便了。

秋游是我们一直期盼的一件事。这学期我们和往常一样，坐公共汽车到东湖山公园秋游。 Qiuyou is one thing we have been looking forward to.This semester, as usual, take a bus to Donghu Mountain Park Autumn Tour.

要准备出发了。我们排好队，一个班一个班地上了车。车上坐得满满的，连通道上也站满了人，同学们叽叽喳喳地热闹极了!一路上大家有说有笑，欢笑声充满了整个公共汽车。我们在欢声笑语中到了东湖山公园。

同学们下了车，在老师的带领下，排成队，走进公园。公园里到处是花草树木，漂亮极了!我深深地呼吸着新鲜的空气，环顾四周。向前走去，便可以看到波光粼粼的湖面。阵阵微风吹来，拂在湖面上，泛起道道波纹，在阳光的照耀下，闪着点点银光，像湖面上撒满了珍珠。微风过去了，湖水又恢复了平静，像一面亮闪闪的镜子。

过了一会儿，我们来到了绿油油的草地上，一起分享了每一个人带来的美味。同学带着各种各样的零食，有巧克力、果冻、饼干、薯片等等。等大家吃饱喝足、玩耍完后，原本干净的草地被我们弄得脏兮兮的。我们便开始了“大扫除”。我们和胡老师扔了一包又一包垃圾，累得我们气喘吁吁、上气不接下气的。

我发现，同学们很浪费，因为有些食品只吃了一口就扔了，甚至有的还没有拆包装就扔了。还有，在垃圾桶的旁边，堆满了肮脏的垃圾，而垃圾桶里却空空如也，什么也没有。我想：如果大家多走那么一小步，就可以文明一大步。

过了一会儿，我们就开始返回了，我们顺着山路往下走，经过热带风景沙滩时还玩耍了一会。这里的人可真多，有的同学在玩沙子，他们把沙子堆成各种各样的形状;有的小朋友在岸边戏水，玩得可高兴了!

时间不知不觉地过去了，我们依依不舍地离开了公园，乘车回到了学校。

Usually, the Valentine’s Day has no connection with the traditional Chinese

festival, but this year, the Lantern festival falls on the same day with the

lovers’ day. Well, some young will face a dilemma，especially for those who

doesn’t get married. Should they spend the day with their families or their hot

lovers? That’s a question. I’ve got a key that can solve this problem.

Family comes first of course. You should wake up a little earlier in the

morning, and help your mother in the kitchen. On the Lantern Festival, making

rice balls and dumplings are the traditional activities. Having a reunion dinner

with the whole family is also very important, so you need to show up and stay

with your family for the whole morning. Spend some time with your family. Keep

them company and make them happy. In the afternoon, there are maybe not so busy,

you can plan for the Valentine’s Day with your girlfriend or boyfriend, you can

have some snacks in 4p.m, and tell your parents you will hang out with your

friends at night and not having supper at home tonight. They would be

understood. Then you can take your girlfriend or boyfriend to a nice restaurant

and see the latest movie after dinner. Do not forget to present the gift you

prepare for your lover. Make your lover happy, too.

I think everybody should find a balance between family love and lover’s

love. If I can only choose one, I will choose family love over the other.

Because I know my family never leaves me and my parents are aging. How many days

can I still be with them? So I really appreciate the days that I can still be

with them. I know you will do the same just like me.

Last week, when I passed a clothes shop, I was attracted by the beautiful

dress, so I asked my mother to give me money to buy one. But she refused me and

said that I could collect some money by helping her to do little work. I agreed.

换上新装，一出门，一股扑鼻的月季花香就扑了过来，花儿们都绽放着可爱的红彤彤的笑脸，那长满尖刺的红玫瑰是那样的高贵典雅优美，月季花的花瓣是那样的朴素可爱纯洁。迎春花已经从一个大花球变成了绿油油的大草球，远处望去，让人觉得心旷神怡，朦胧的双眼，顿时变得清晰百倍。

含羞草也醒了，瞧他那害羞劲儿，一动它就立刻合拢起自己的叶子。含羞草那“小身板”茎部是那样的细脸半厘米都不到，个子到窜了不少。爸爸买的绿萝，一个小矮胖静悄悄地待在一个墙角里，谦虚不起眼，但爸爸却依然喜欢他，绿萝最能保护眼睛。

还有我家两棵栽在花盆里高大而笔直爸爸最宠的植物之一：金钱树，每天爸爸都会给它施肥，铲土每天换新土，把枯树叶剪下来，那水壶去害虫，去污渍。绿油油的他好一派趾高气扬的劲儿!万年青生命力很顽强，不论春夏秋冬不论狂风暴雨不论寒风呼啸不论黄沙漫天他总是那么绿那么坚定。

小河里的鱼儿快活的嬉戏游玩，柳树旁的小鸟婉转歌唱，昨夜的湿气被今日的春风吹之挥去。大自然的和谐美、优雅美，流进了人类记忆的无声的岁月，淡而无光。

I like dogs, because they are man’s good friends. They can do many helpful thingsto us, such as guarding our houses, greeting guests, helping the police, and soon. Some trained dogs can even lead the blind people and save people’s lives.So they‘re treated as our family members. I hope someday dogs will be in greatharmony with human-beings.

汴梁的秋总是来得那么早呵，哀伤了又寂寥，寂寥了又哀伤。他独自一人在梧桐深院里彷徨，检点那江南景物，都赋予，旧律新篇。看到旧时的明月——那雕栏玉砌应该还在吧，目遇满阶落花——那朱颜红袖大都已不光鲜如昨了。在那双温润而敏感的眸子里，汴梁是没有风景的，而昔日金陵的处处风光，都已被他细细的藏在了那一江春水里，滚滚东逝，亘古长流。

玉楼瑶殿枉回头，天上人间恨未休。不曾流泪寻旧谱，一江春水足千秋。

波光之上，是谁的寂寞临水而立，落叶翩然的琼枝玉树，凋落了谁的孤独，那七夕的潺潺细雨，又是为谁而流的眼泪?一夜之间，荻花飘絮，白露为霜，他离开，带着他的赤子之心，带着他的诗人天性，带着他的翰墨情怀。如一枚响箭，遁入辽远的苍茫，又似蝶翅隐入斜阳，隐入自身的美丽与流浪。空蒙岁月在倒退，锦瑟年华在倒退，江南落尽的繁华和汴梁如钩的残月都在倒退。当整个世界都倒退为背景，他，便成了唐风宋雨里唯一的风景。

有人说他“便作词人秦柳上，如何偏属帝王家”，有人说他“一生是一场谁与火的交融诗人天性与国君之任相遇，只得了一缕青烟，一场空。”而我谓之不然。一个皇子能超然物外是风景，一位君王的浪漫爱情是风景，一个丢了家国的人对故土的深情凝望也是风景。即使他真的只成了一缕青烟，也一定会幻化成云朵，舒展成为天边最美的风景。

全家人都喜欢兰兰画的这张画。爸爸刚下班回来，拿起画，看了又看，把画帖在了墙上。兰兰不明白，问；我只是画了自己的小手啊！我有那么多画，您为什么只贴这一张呢？

爸爸说；这胖乎乎的小手替我拿过拖鞋呀！妈妈下班回来，看见画笑着说；这胖乎乎的小手给我洗过手绢啊！姥姥从厨房出来，一眼就看见了画上红润润的小手，说；这胖乎乎的小手帮我挠过痒痒啊！兰兰明白了全家人为什么都喜欢这张画。她高兴的说；等我长大了，小手变成了大手，它会帮你们做更多的事情！

My family lives on this street. In the morning, my father goes to work and all the children go to school. My mother takes us to school everyday. She does the housework. She always has her lunch at home, and sees her friends in the afternoon. In the evening all the children come home from school. They always get home early. My father goes home from work and he is often late. After supper my two brothers and I do our homework. We go to bed at ten.
