The traffic problem is one of themost serious problems in my hometown. Recently, more and more people have privatecar, but the roads are so narrow that we have to fight against the heavytraffic when we go out. With the rapid development of the society, many things around our life are changed. Personally speaking, my hometown has changed a lot.

When I was a child, there was only one black and white TV set in our village. And I don’t know what’s computer. I often went to school on foot. What’s more, in summer, we had to use hand-made fans to make our temperature down. If I wanted to connect with the distant friends or relatives,  the most convenient way is writing letters, which may lost on the way or take a lot of time to reach the destination.

However, nowadays, there are four color televisons in my home and most people have their own computers. And now cars are seen everywhere. In addition, most houses have airconditioning, which can cool the whole house quickly. With the development of cell phone, people can reach each other in a second. As time passes, my hometown has change a lot thanks to the social development. I believe there will be much more changes in the future.

It is a new term now and I hope I can do the best so I make a plan for my English learning.

First I will pay attention to listen to the teacher on the class and if I dont do it I will recite a passage for the class.

Second I will do my homework carefully and hand it in on time. If I dont do it I will write a whole passage 3 times.

Third I will do the dictation on time and finish it well.If I dont do it well I will do what the teacher want to.

Forth I will try my best in the exam and I will make a progress. If I fail in the exam the teacher could call my parents.

新学期来了，一转眼我已是五年级的学生了，想想看，我的变化有多大啊。

我的位置变了，以前，我总是在第三排都第五排之间来回穿梭，好不容易坐了一次第二排吧还没暖热座位就又被挪走了，因此我总是觉得我上辈子欠了张三或李四的钱了!否则我怎么会和第三排和第四排这么有缘?!现在，我已经坐在了“黄金位置”——第一排!虽然有些人认为坐第一排的往往都是些差生，但作为“四眼仔”的我来说已经算是最好的了!

我的数学成绩提升了，以前，我写数学作业总是一堆叉号向我涌来，就连考试也没有好运气，总是考个90到93分而已，包括有的两位数乘两位数的计算题我都会算错，因而上课都是无精打采的。现在，我上课专心听讲，已经进步了许多，考试每次都稳定在95到98分左右，两，三位数乘法已不在话下，但还需多加努力。

今非昔比，今日的我已进步了许多，与昔日的我相比，变化相当大，希望以后我能更上一层楼!

新的学期?不错,我们是五年级的大哥哥大姐姐了,再加上六年级的大哥哥大姐姐走了,我们是本校的最高年级了.

新的变化?对,我们升了一个年级,是五年级了,自然就是五年级的开始,不是四年级时四年级的开始.

新的教室?是的,我们只升了一个年级,可是教室却升了三个楼层,因为教室从二楼升到了五楼,而且,楼顶天花板也掉了一大快,和以前的教室不一样了.

新的东西?这就更不用说了,新的风扇、讲台、电脑、教学平台、投影仪等等，多得数不胜数。

新的学期开始了，我给自己制定了一份新的学期计划：

1：学习态度：学习态度要端正，上课不搞小动作，认真听讲，积极发言，仔细做好每一道题，不懂就问，主动和同学商量，向老师请教。

每一个人的成绩都是有变化的，我的英语成绩与以前比起来，也有了很大很大的进步。

记得三年级的时候，我们准备英语期末考试，我便很得意扬扬地对我的英语同桌说：‘没事，怎么都会考一百，所以不用那么紧张！我的同桌听了我一番话心里也有一点骄傲，滴滴。上课了，看见老师手里拿着一张试卷，我心里很激动拿到试卷后，我用了利剑一样的速度把卷纸写完了，看了一眼，就玩起了笔来，等老师叫传试卷时，我急忙把试卷传给了上一个同学，心里还很得意。等老师公布成绩时，我的心却像揣着一只兔子，七上八下的。当老师念到我时我的心像要从嗓子眼里跳出来，突然，我听到了山崩地理的响声：杨瑞，89分！我的脸一瞬间变成了一个红苹果，心犹如春天里刚绽放开的花瓣就被春风吹散了一样。

I’m pretty happy because my new term will come. I can try my best to learn English . I think I will use my heart to learn it..And I will try to be quite active at every class. I always felt that it is a waste of time to listen carefully in class. and if I did so I would have no time to do what I wanted to do .

I’m a student of Huayang No. 1 Middle School. In front of our school gate is a street, on both sides of which are many shops and restaurants. Every day during rush hour, especially at noon, stalls selling everyday goods and food appear on the street, which makes it terriblycrowded. First, cars and passersby have difficulty in passing through the street. Thus it makes it dangerous for the students to go in or out of school.
