In the past,people could not often have meat,rice or other delicious food.They could only eat these during the Spring festival.So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon.Now,although peoples life is much better,and we can eat the delicious foods everyday.

People still like the festiv al.Because most people can have along holiday,and we are free to go on atrip or visit our friends or have parties with our family.In the evenings,we can have abig meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programmes.

I like the Spring Festival very much.How wonderful the Spring Festival is！

The Spring Festival,also known as the Lunar New Year, is the greatest traditional festival. It is usually a time between late January or early February, which means rest and relaxation between winter and spring after a years toil,and means celebration as well. Before the Spring Festival, people clean their houses, put red couplets on their gates,and set off firecrackers, according to fairy tale, for driving a demon ,named Nian ,away. On the eve of the Spring Festival, a gettogether banquet is a must, and the most popular food is Jiaozi, which is supposed to bring good fortune.On the first day of the new year, everybody wears new clothes and greets relatives and friends with bows and congratulations wishingeach other the best during the new year.

Chinese Lunar New Year,or Spring Festival falls on January 1st according to the lunar calendar,usually around the late January or early February.As the start of spring as well as a new year,it is the most important celebration of the year.Each family get reunited during the New Year.On the Eve,there is a big dinner for the family when each member return to get together.

The biggest New Years party is held on CCTV.Hundreds of people gather there,meanwhile millions of others all over the country were sitting in front of the screen to watch excellent performances for more than four hours continuously.The bell strike twelve at midnight to welcome the coming of the New Year or Spring.People start to set off firecraks and say "Happy New Year" to each other.

This year I have a happy spring featival with my family.

On New Years Eve,all the family people get together to have a big dinner in the resturant.During the dinner we have a small talk and play some games.We say some good hope to each other.For example,keep good healthe,try your best to do everything,have a good mood in this year,happy everyday and so on.

Thanks to this spring festival,it make our family people get toghther.We enjoy ourselves and in the new year we all fighting.

Because the Spring Festival is the most solemn traditional festival of Chinese folk. In the first month of the summer calendar, also known as the lunar calendar, commonly known as "New Year", "New Year". Every year, the streets are covered with red lanterns and colorful flags. The mall is a sea of people, buying New Year goods, but lively. Grandma prepared a hearty meal, with a lot of "bam, bam, bam" on the outside, and the guns  . Every little friend put on a beautiful new dress, and the grown-ups smiled with satisfaction. Until dad bought me a lot of fireworks and firecrackers, in the evening, I will take out fireworks went downstairs and children put together, we play very happy, the party began, I was reluctant to go home, eat fruit while watching the party together with family, a good laugh at our wonderful performances, wish: I wish that every day is New Years day! I also like the double ninth festival.

Spring Festival was my favorite Chinese festival when I was a child. At

that time, I had a great time. Every year at that time I could dress new

clothes, get lucky money from relatives and seldom receive criticism from my

mother. Everything seems such wonderful. However, as I grow up, I find Spring

Festival is less and less interesting. I just feel that as usual. What’s worse,

with the fireworks, I find Spring Festival is a noisy festival. So I don’t like

it any more.
